You guys! Live Clean has a new scent that’s perfect for fall: Live Clean Vanilla Oatmeal Soothing Body Wash & Liquid Hand Soap.

Live Clean Vanilla Oatmeal

New Live Clean Vanilla Oatmeal Soothing Body Wash & Liquid Hand Soap

Live Clean is by far my fave green drugstore brand. All of their products are plant derived and made with certified organic botanicals.
And I keep telling you this but let’s do it again haha! Every single Live Clean product is:
-SLS and sulfate free
-petroleum free
-paraben free, DEA free
-silicone free, dye free
-phthalate free, and phosphate free

Oh, and they are completely vegan, with no animal products or animal by-products used in the formulations. Why would you use anything else?

New Live Clean Vanilla Oatmeal Soothing Body Wash & Liquid Hand Soap contain oatmeal of course, which everyone knows is soothing and healing. I don’t know about you, but my skin starts to get itchy in the cool fall weather, so my dry limbs just LOVE this new body wash and hand soap. The oatmeal is blended with Vitamin E, Panthenol, and Certified Organic Botanicals of Vanilla and Chamomile to soothe, heal, and moisturize dry skin. And Live Clean’s Hand Soaps are staples in our house because they never dry hands out. And now that cold and flu season is heading our way, having this one with oatmeal is perfect for frequent hand washing/germ avoiding!

Oh, and the scent! New Live Clean Vanilla Oatmeal Soothing Body Wash & Liquid Hand Soap smell so GOOD…a warm, comfy vanilla that’s so very fall appropriate.

So, ya wanna try them? Well you can! I don’t even know where to start with this blog post?! It’s not often that I’m blown away by something that my mind gets so jumbled up and honestly? All that I want to type right now is:

BUY THIS. BUY IT ALL. BUY. IT.

Let’s start with Tova Langhans, the creator of  T•LANGHANS Eco~Luxury Body Care, and my new favourite person in the beauty world. And I want her beautiful lips.

Tova Langhans

Tova Langhans

Tova started her business making handmade Castille Soaps out of just 5 ingredients. Her philosophy is, “Use only what’s natural and what’s necessary to make an exceptional product”. And WOW, I’m telling you everything she makes is exceptional. #fanforLIFE

T•LANGHANS CARES.jpg

T•LANGHANS CARES Box

Now, you can find these exceptional products in spas and hotels across Canada, but Tova’s products cause such a stir when someone tries them, that she has launched a subscription box called T•LANGHANS CARES, or the T•L•C Box. 😀  Tova has designed the T•L•C Box to give members the ultimate bathing experience from head to toe.

  • T•L•C only contains full size products made by Tova
  • It is delivered quarterly
  • 9% of the proceeds go to a cause chosen by the T•L•C Community-SickKids is this quarter’s cause
  • T•L•C Members have the option of being part of her Focus Group where they can suggest new products they’d like to see developed (LIP BALM TOVA PLEASE) and also receive samples before they go to market

Each T•L•C Box has a retail value of $225, but with the T•L•C Subscription it’s only  $148 +  Free Shipping. I’m freakin’ signing up ASAP. Each box contains a Cleansing Hair Conditioner, Castile Shower Gel, Sugar Polish, Liquid Castile Hand Soap, Hand & Body Cream, Cuticle Oil, and a Hotel Soap Collection of 4 Castile Bars. And as time goes on, I’m sure Tova will add products she develops as well for members to try. LIP BALM TOVA PLEASE. #hahaha #ImABrat

T•LANGHANS Cleansing Hair Conditioner

T•LANGHANS Cleansing Hair Conditioner.jpg

T•LANGHANS Cleansing Hair Conditioner

When I say this is the BEST Cleansing Hair Conditioner I’ve tried, I mean it’s the BEST Cleansing Hair Conditioner I’ve tried. HOLY GEEZE my hair loves this stuff. Tova promised me that it wouldn’t strip my rainbow hair colour and to be honest, I’ve heard THAT a million times before so I wasn’t gonna hold her to that promise. But this is the first time someone telling me that actually was truth. No pink going down the shower drain after 5 days now. In fact, the pink in my hair looks brighter?!! What kind of witchcraftery is this stuff? Virgin Coconut Oil my friends, that’s what it’s all about. This is a true Cleanisng Conditioner, and has no foaming action at all. My grey, coloured, curly hair loves this stuff so much! And what is so refreshing is that Tova tells you that every once in awhile, you should use a clarifying treatment. You just need to figure out how often your hair needs to have a clarifying treatment between washes-the oilier your hair, the sooner you’ll probably have to use another shampoo. Tova’s family uses Live Clean Shampoos in between, and HELLLOOOOoooo to my other fave hair brand! That’s a big endorsement right there for me coming from Tova! Me and my curly hair can go for a good week before needing to use a Live Clean Shampoo, but it all depends on how much Zumba I do and how much I sweat. Like Tova says-it’s all up to you and what your scalp and hair need to feel good. All I know is that my hair has never looked so bright, so frizz-free, and feel so CLEAN too. Awesome stuff! And if you want to just try this product, it’s on sale right now. #hurryHURRY

T•LANGHANS LIQUID CASTILE SHOWER GEL

T•LANGHANS LIQUID CASTILE SHOWER GEL.jpg

T•LANGHANS LIQUID CASTILE SHOWER GEL

With the same ingredients as the Handmade Castille soaps, this shower gel is so gentle and leaves your skin clean-almost squeaky clean, yet somehow soft. And it smells so GOOD too-the one I have is lavender and it’s so nice and soothing. I see Tova has a Bergamot one, and you all know I’m a self-proclaimed Bergamot whore, so Imma’ gonna’ need that one!

T•LANGHANS SUGAR POLISH

T•LANGHANS SUGAR POLISH.jpg

T•LANGHANS SUGAR POLISH

WOW. Just WOW. I’m in love with this stuff. Sugar, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Virgin Olive Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Honey, Essential Oils-all of that good stuff just leaves your skin so smooth and soft! And you don’t need a moisturizer after either, which this hot and flashy menopausal lady is so ever thankful for! Sometimes all it takes is a heavy moisturizer and BOOM HOT FLASH. If I can use something like this in the shower to moisturize so that I don’t hot flash? I’m all for it. And this stuff is IT.

The HÔTEL Collection Castille Soaps

 photo SAM_3482.jpg

The HÔTEL Collection Castille Soaps

Patchouli, Lemongrass, Vanilla, Frankincense & Myr-AHHHHHHhhhhhhh it’s like soap heaven you guys! The main ingredients are Virgin Olive Oil and Goat’s milk so you know these are moisturizing. They’re so smooth and soft and melty, and lather up like nobody’s business. LOVE. My hubby Terry especially loves these soaps-they leave you feeling so clean it’s amazing.

LIQUID CASTILE AND HAND & BODY CREAM and LIQUID SOAP

 photo SAM_3467.jpg

The liquid hand soap is amazing and Marky’s poor eczemic hands adore it. I’m going to have to make sure she takes some with her when we drive her back to dry and hot California. But the body cream HOOWEE so good. SO so SO good. The musky-lemony smell is everything, and I can’t stop feeling how soft my arms are right now.

T•LANGHANS Cuticle Oil

T•LANGHANS Cuticle Oil.jpg

T•LANGHANS Cuticle Oil

No secret that I don’t really take care of my nails what-so-ever. But this cuticle oil is divine, and makes my gnarly cuticles look NICE. And that’s something right there you guys. Get it. T•LANGHANS Cuticle oil softens and nourishes your cuticles using a special blend of Sunflower Seed Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Black Pepper Oil, Blood Orange Oil, Lavender Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Rosemary Oil and Vitamin E Oil. Oh, and if you just want to order this, it’s only $16 for the full size. WHAT.

T•LANGHANS CARES Box.jpg

T•LANGHANS CARES Box

Again, you get ALL of these products in the T•LANGHANS CARES Box, and ALL of them are FULL SIZES. No samples at all people. Nope. Everything is luxurious and fresh-in fact Tova told me that she was going to make a fresh batch of Cleansing Conditioner before my box was sent to me! My skin and hair feel amazing this week, and it’s because I’ve been testing these products and I adore each and every one of them. They are so good that I’m hemming and hawing at having to make a break from using them to have to test other crap  products out.  😛

Order your T•LANGHANS CARES Box HERE . It’ll be the best decision you’ve made in ages. And get ready for the best showers you’ve ever had! If you want to be a founding member of this amazing subscription box service, then know that founding Members receive a FREE 500ml Cleansing Hair Conditioner in every box. But you need to subscribe by August 1st to be a founding member so hurry! Oh, and hey, if you live in the USA, you can order as well as they will ship down south too.

Have you used something new lately that has just blown you away?I can’t stop feeling how soft my arms are right now HAHA.

I have some shower stuffs I’ve been LOVING lately that I need to tell you about, so let’s start with the one that is breaking my heart, because I CAN’T FIND IT AT THE DRUGSTORE YET. And I’m almost out!

New Nuxe Prodigieux Shower Oil $16

Nuxe Prodigieux Shower Oil.jpg

Nuxe Prodigieux Shower Oil

If you’re a fan of the Nuxe Huile Prodigiuese, then you’re going to adore the Nuxe Prodigieux Shower Oil, or the Prodigieux Hulle de Douche. It smells just like the oil-that dreamy blend of Sweet Almond Oil, Orange Blossom, Magnolia and Vanilla that just screams summer. Or fall. Or winter for that matter, because I love the scent all year round. And now, you can take a shower with that scent! It’s got the golden particles from the shimmery version of the oil too, but I don’t notice any golden particles on my skin after I shower, thank goodness. I don’t like sparkles on my skin as you know.

Just a little bit of water on your shower poof with a few squirts of Nuxe Prodigieux Shower Oil and this amazing fine foam that feels so fluffy lathers up and gently cleanses your skin with that delicious scent… I LOVES IT. And it leaves your skin super soft too! But hey, do top it off with some of the oil, because you want to keep that scent going if you’re like me. And by the way, there’s a parfum of the scent too! Which I also haven’t seen yet…I’ll keep stalking the drugstore aisles until I finally get my hands on that too.

The Nuxe Prodigieux Shower Oil is supposed to be available in stores as of May, but I haven’t seen it yet and I am almost out. SO I AM WORRIED. Please let me know if you spot it in stores! It’s going to be available at The Bay, Shopper’s Drug Mart, Sears, Murale and the usual stores in Quebec.

Are you a fan of the scent of Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse too?  Are you as excited as I am about this shower oil too?

Yo ho ho! Wait, that’s pirate-talk and not Santa-talk, right? I don’t even know anymore, I just want it OVER hahaha! It’s almost Christmas, so bonus post today! And if you still need to get a gift, then I say get yer’ procrastinating butt over to a CrabTree and Evelyn store because DUDES they got 30% OFF your inshore-wait, IN-STORE hahaha-still talking pirate here-purchase of $25 or more! And who doesn’t like getting some really nice bath and body stuff for Christmas? #nobodythatwho

First off, Crabtree and Evelyn has some kind of nice packaging! You won’t even need to wrap! And that’s good if you’re like me, because I really suck at wrapping. Terry is the official gift wrapper in our house, I just don’t have the patience for it. I’d rather just throw stuff in a bag with some tissue paper and BAZINGA! it’s wrapped good enough I say   😛

Crabtree and Evelyn .jpg

Crabtree & Evelyn Christmas Packaging

But check out the Crabtree & Evelyn Box! Why would you ruin this with gift wrap paper of penguins with Santa hats, hey?

Crabtree and Evelyn .jpg

Crabtree & Evelyn Avocado, Olive & Basil Bath & Body Gift set

The Crabtree & Evelyn Avocado, Olive & Basil Bath & Body Gift set ($48, but 30% off in-store remember) is like WOWZA you guys. First of all, this scent? Is heaven on earth if you love green, fresh, herb-y scents like I do! And they are hard to find let me tell you! This set is so lovely and moisturizing and I am now hooked for life on it. Good thing there’s a Crabtree & Evelyn near me is all I can say. 😀

Crabtree and Evelyn .jpg

Crabtree & Evelyn Apple Snow Hand Therapy Cream

Oh, and did you notice that little Christmas Cracker($11) in the pic? It has a mini hand cream in it! Festive, fun moisture right there for you folks! They come in different scents of course, but this Apple Snow one? AMAZING. Like cool, refreshing apples…and snow…hahaha. It’s so nice!

So, have I convinced you to go and shop at Crabtree & Evelyn? I hope so! I always walk by the Crabtree and Evelyn store, but never really go in for some strange, silly reason. Oh, that’s gonna change BIG TIME now….I mean…who knew they had such amazing scents and products?!

Why didn’t any of you tell me how good their stuff is??!! HAHAHA….   😛

I am so TIRED and it’s not even Christmas…we came back from Jasper last night, and went for that final before Christmas food shopping haul today-you  know, where you just buy ALL THE CHEESE YOU SEE BECAUSE CHEEZE IS CHRISTMAS and another bottle of Bailey’s because dang, that stuff goes down really smoooooooth lately if you’re a red-headed 22 year old that’s home from college! She sure like it! What’s your favourite Christmas liqueur?

After last week’s emotional post about my friend, I decided I needed a break. An Adventure! To take my mind off all the horrible stuff going on around me. I love going to the mountains here in Alberta. Heck, if I could afford it, I’d move there in a heart beat. I wish I could. I really do. So, that’s where we went.

And so, I’m gonna spam you again with all the beautiful scenery I experienced last week in Banff. #lovealberta

Banff Alberta Overpasses

This is something I’ve never showed you before. Canada Parks built these overpasses for the animals to help them cross the highways. It’s a seamless forest-y walkway for them, and I think they work actually! You hardly ever see any roadkill in Banff National Park anymore.

We didn’t spend a lot of time in Banff this trip because we really wanted to see Lake Louise this time.

Lake Louise, Alberta.jpg

Lake Louise, Alberta

And yup. It’s probably one of the prettiest spots on Earth. She doesn’t disappoint. Get ready for the money shot.

Lake Louise, Alberta

Lake Louise, Alberta1.jpg

Lake Louise, Alberta

Lake Louise is an alpine lake, and is known for its sparkling blue-green waters. It’s situated at the base of glaciers as you can see.

Lake Level view!

Lake Louise, Alberta.jpg

Lake Louise, Alberta

I’m sorry, I just couldn’t stop snapping pictures! I could just sit there for hours staring and thinking.

Lake Louise, Alberta.jpg

Lake Louise, Alberta

Here’s a view to the left. I did turn my head and look around hahaha!

Lake Louise, Alberta.jpg

Lake Louise, Alberta

This is a time I wish every picture came with a smell-o-vision button. The air up there is so CLEAN. So fresh. And you can pick out every single scent that’s there-pine? Wild flowers? Greenery? It’s surreal, and so hard to explain?! I wish I could do it justice, but I don’t think any words can really tell you what it smells like there. You just have to come and smell and see for yourselves!

Moraine Lake, Alberta:

This gorgeous lake view used to be on the back of our old $20 bills.

Moraine Lake, Alberta

Moraine Lake, Alberta

Moraine Lake is a lot bluer than Lake Louise, and there’s a science-y time reason for that!

SO blue.

I regret not buying this amazing toilet paper holder in Banff. I swear you can buy the weirdest/most amazing things there.

 photo IMG_0868.jpg

I couldn’t get Terry on board with it for some reason HAHA. He couldn’t see my decorating vision! Can you?

 photo IMG_0869.jpg

Found a stocking stuffer for Marky. It’s her favourite word I swear.

Kiehl's Creme de Corps Nurturing Body Washing Cream.jpg

Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Nurturing Body Washing Cream

And a little beauty bonus for you! It’s so DRY in Calgary and Banff. I thought it was dry up here in Edmonton, but every time I go down south and to the mountains my legs get SO ITCHY that I can’t stop scratching like a buffoon. This Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Nurturing Body Washing Cream saved me from scratching my legs off. It’s really thick and lathers nicely into the softest foamy foam ever. It smells very shea buttery too-nice and gentle. But it doesn’t leave your skin greasy feeling at all for something so moisturizing. It cleanses really well too! I love it, and from now on it’s coming with me on any trips for sure. Perfect for this near menopause gal who can’t stand body butters!

You just can’t beat Alberta skies I’m telling you. Nope. No way. No how.

 photo IMG_0871.jpg

And that was my little adventure last week! I hope to have many more adventures to show you. You see, my hubby was laid off at the end of July, and forced to take early retirement. It was a bit of a shock to us, but he only wanted to work until Marky was finished college anyways. He has been still working though for Sportsnet Productions, but as a freelancer. At first we thought maybe he should get a full-time staff position and then we started to REALLY think about it. WHY. Freelance work is the way to go for him right now, so he can enjoy life for a change. It was a scary decision for us-since he’s the only bread winner in the family. But, life is short. And we want to enjoy what time we’ve got left here! Having sick friends really makes you think about what you want to do with what little time you’ve got left here. And we want to have some fun adventures together!

I promise to get back to blogging about beauty this week! I have quite a bit of things I’ve been loving to show you-specifically skincare. And also some decluttering posts too! YUP. Lots of stuff coming at you, so be prepared!

HUGS everyone! Have you been on any fun adventures lately?
