I guess I still have some Dior Summer 2016 products to show you, hey? Let’s take a look at the Diorskin Nude Air Summer Glow Shimmering Loose Powder, the Diorrskin Nude Air Glow Powders, and the Diorshow Waterproof Pro Liners.

Diorskin Nude Air Glow Powder $68

 photo IMG_8558.jpg

Diorskin Nude Air Glow Powder 002 Fresh Light 001 Fresh Tan

Diorskin Nude Air Glow Powder 002 Fresh Light  and 001 Fresh Tan are gorgeous bronzers? Is that what they are? Because I don’t think so? I think I’d call them more of a bronzer blush, or BLONZER, because I like them on my cheeks, but not on the rest of my face. If I use them like a regular bronzer I tend to look a little too peachy and orange instead of bronzed. I love the formula though! They blend into the skin like a dream and do kind of give a subtle glow to the cheeks. Whether you believe the hooey that these contain a pollution-fighting formula that limits the absorption of toxins is up to you. SURE DIOR. SURE. #WhoYouKidding

Diorskin Nude Air Summer Glow Shimmering Loose Powder $68

Diorskin Nude Air Summer Glow Shimmering Loose Powder.jpg

Diorskin Nude Air Summer Glow Shimmering Loose Powder

Diorskin Nude Air Summer Glow Shimmering Loose Powder is a special edition light peachy loose powder that enhances the skin with the subtle shimmer of a summer glow. There are tiny shimmers that I can still see no matter how much I blend or buff. Some people have said that the more you buff, the shimmers disappear? I can still see them no matter what I do, so I just apply a bit of the Diorskin Nude Air Summer Glow Shimmering Loose Powder on the tops of my cheekbones and any high points on my face-like a highlighter. Click on the swatches below to get a closer look at the powders and that shimmer I’m talking about.

Diorskin Nude Air Summer Glow Shimmering Loose Powder.jpg

Diorskin Nude Air Summer Glow Shimmering Loose Powder, Diorskin Nude Air Glow Powder 002 Fresh Light, 001 Fresh Tan

I’m wearing the Diorskin Nude Air Glow Powder 002 Fresh Light on the apples of my cheeks and 001 Fresh Tan towards the back of my cheekbones. You can sort of see the difference in shade I think? It’s a very subtle difference in shade to be honest with the lighter one being peachier. All three blend beautifully and sit gorgeous on the skin, as do all Dior face powders. Dior face powders are gorgeous that’s for sure.

Diorshow Waterproof Pro Liner $36

Diorskin Nude Air Summer Glow Shimmering Loose Powder.jpg

Diorshow Waterproof Pro Liner #282, #862

Diorshow Waterproof Pro Liner #282 Pro Navy is a navy shade and #862 Pro Magenta is a burgundy which is a pretty unique shade for an eyeliner. These are supposed to have the intensity of a liquid liner in a semi-matte finish.

 photo IMG_8688.jpg

Diorshow Waterproof Pro Liner #282, #862

Those swatches are two passes, so by no means are these as pigmented as a liquid eyeliner. They can break off a bit too, as you can see in the navy swatch some pencil came off.  You have a bit of time(around a minute) to smudge them if you like. That’s what I did. Although smudging the liner takes the pigmentation level down again. The bevelled tip is cool! But it takes a bit of practice to get used to it, which makes it tougher to get a precise line with them. That’s why I prefer smudging them.

 photo IMG_2668.jpg

Diorshow Waterproof Pro Liner #282

If you get water on your eyes they won’t move, but if you rub, then the eyeliner will move. So I wouldn’t call these waterproof. A more appropriate term would be water-resistant. That eye look did stay put all day for me, so long-lasting they are for sure.

Here’s what I mean about the bevelled edge being cool:

Diorshow Waterproof Pro Liners are interesting? But I think the word Pro means something here. I think these would be easier to use if you are a makeup artist and applying eyeliner on someone else. But using them on yourself? There’s a bit of a learning curve before mastering the application. Plus that price makes my eyes twitch something fierce!

Would I spring for any of these products with my own money? I’d probably get one of the Nude Air Glow Powders-IF I needed a peachy Blonzer. The Diorskin Nude Air Summer Glow Shimmering Loose Powder is pretty? If you don’t mind some shimmer, it is lovely as a setting powder and I know a lot of my blogger buddies adore it. The eyeliners are a pass for sure, I mean for that price they should line my eyes on their own, right?

Has anything from the Dior Summer 2016 Collection caught your eye?

I bought one Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Blush when I FINALLY spotted them at my Sephora. I was waiting for these to debut after seeing them on @BeautyGeeks and decided I’d need to get one in the name of “Blush Science”. I had to try this. I’m a blush fiend and spray blush in a can? C’MON.

Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Blush

Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Blush

I LOVE THESE SO MUCH. I now have three. I’ll probably own the last shade soon, even though I’m not really a fan of cool pink blush on me. But, who am I to break up a misty perfect blush family?

Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Blush($25) is just what it is-blush you spray on. In a can. The mist is so fine that yes, you CAN spray this right on your cheeks if you so choose to. And I do that often believe it or not!

Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Blush: Such a Peach, Orange You Glad, Rose Without Thorns

Now, as you can see, if you spray too close to your skin like I did for the swatches, you don’t get an even application. So, if you are brave enough to spray these directly onto your cheeks, MAKE SURE YOU’RE SPRAYING FROM 8 INCHES AWAY, HEY? I like spraying the blush right onto a stippling brush and, then applying onto my cheeks. But you know what? I don’t really mind spraying onto my cheeks either. BUT, Tracy has CHEEKZ-like these babies aren’t hard to miss. So when I spray a Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Blush right onto my cheeks, they get ON ma’ cheeks and not in my eyes. If you have a smaller head and cheeks than me(and let’s face it, who DOESN’T), then I’d suggest going the stippling brush route. Nobody wants blush in their eye, trust me. 😛

Today I’m wearing Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Blush in Rose Without Thorns which is in the pink can. Yeah, don’t judge the colour by what the can looks like is all I can say! Rose Without Thorns is a great natural, neutral  rose blush. I was taking lipstick photos today, so this was a perfect blush to wear because it goes with any lipstick I swear.

Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Blush Rose Without Thorns

Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Blush Rose Without Thorns

Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Blush($25) are so lightweight, so buildable, look natural and last all day for me. They’re supposed to be waterproof too so yay- these would be the perfect blush for the hot days of summer time! And I bet they’d last all day at Disneyland! DISNEYLAND…I miss it…I’m getting that itch again you guys… 😀 😀

My fave Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Blush shade is Such A Peach-it’s like NARS Orgasm in liquid form. It even has some fine sparkles that just make cheeks glow! Heck, I love them all! You gotta try one fellow blush fiends!

How’s it going?! I made an appointment to get my hair cut tomorrow-but then I cancelled it HAHAHA. I just have so much stuff to do! But I’m going to have to get it cut soon you guys, but wow  can you tell how much I hate going to the salon? I love my hair stylist, I really do! But the time, and the money-I hate that part a lot. SIGH. And my hair is so low maintenance these days that it just feels so silly to spend money on it. All I do is wash it, put it up in a bun and that’s pretty much it. I just don’t care enough haha!

What do you think? Yay? Or Nay to spray blush?

To say that I was happy to see the Caryl Baker Limited Edition Spring 2016 Bloom Colour Collection pop up on my doorstep was an understatement!

 photo SAM_0567.jpg

I adore, simply ADORE the Canadian brand of skincare and makeup, so YEEHAW this Beauty Blogger was as happy as hearing her favourite Zumba song play while working out haha! And in case you wanted to know, it’s Corazon Acelerao by Los Vaqueros: La Trilogia-it’s an amazing blend of traditional music and latin hip hop, and it’s so much fun to dance to!

Caryl Baker Limited Edition Spring 2016 Bloom Colour Collection .jpg

Caryl Baker Limited Edition Spring 2016 Bloom Colour Collection

There’s some skincare in the Caryl Baker Limited Edition Spring 2016 Bloom Colour Collection too, but today let’s focus on colour, because DANG…I love winter…but Spring makeup collections are my absolute FAVOURITE. I just melt like the snow when I see the gorgeous pastel colours, and want everything I see!
“Spring is synonymous with romance, a time for fresh feminine looks that are as easy to create as they are to wear. Lightly brush a wash of petal-coloured shadow in soft yellow Buttercup or peachy Tulip all over the eye to naturally flatter,” says Caryl Baker Visage National Face Expert, Anna Koniaris.

But the Caryl Baker Limited Edition Spring 2016 Bloom Colour Collection has kind of satisfied that Spring Makeup craving because the colours are just so pretty and ethereal, and dudes-I need nothing else. DONE.

Swatchy Time!

Caryl Baker Limited Edition Spring 2016 Bloom Colour Collection .jpg

HYDRANGEA Soft sea green-blue with gold, pearlescent finish; WEET PEA Pinky peach, metallic finish; BUTTERCUP Light buttercream, matte finish; BLUSH: ROSE GARDEN Pearlescent cool pink.

Now there are eight eyeshadows($18 each) in the collection, but I have three: HYDRANGEA which is a soft sea green-blue with gold with a pearlescent finish; SWEET PEA, a pinky peach with a metallic finish; BUTTERCUP is a light buttercream shade with a matte finish. Caryl Baker Eyeshadows are amazing if you have aging eyes like me because they’re made with Orchid Flower Extract which is an emollient anti-oxidant that helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. AND they are Paraben, Gluten free AND Vegan too.  🙂

Caryl Baker Limited Edition Spring 2016 Bloom Colour Collection .jpg

Caryl Baker Limited Edition Spring 2016 Bloom Colour Collection

The shadows are beautiful and easy to blend. My fave is definitely Hydrangea-it’s the PERFECT Spring eyeshadow. Sweet Pea could be slightly more pigmented if I’m being picky, but it’s still great. LOVE them all.

There are two blushes in the collection, and I have ROSE GARDEN($22.50), a Pearlescent cool pink which is SO PRETTY on the cheeks. Her blushes are a triple-milled, highly-pigmented fine powder that blends like a DREAM.

Caryl Baker Limited Edition Spring 2016 Bloom Colour Collection .jpg

MORNING DEW Lipstick, FREESIA Lip Gloss

MORNING DEW Lipstick($18) is a rosy pink, cream finish that’s perfect! I love Caryl Baker Lipsticks-they’re pigmented, and kind of a good classic formula-not too creamy, not too drying. They are comfy on the lips and last FOREVER. FREESIA Lip Gloss($18)is a bright pink with a semi-matte finish and it’s so good. Nicely pigmented, not drying and not sticky at all.

wearing the Caryl Baker Limited Edition Spring 2016 Bloom Colour Collection

The Limited Edition Caryl Baker Spring 2016 BLOOM Colour Collection is available beginning March 21, 2016 at Caryl Baker Visage Face Spas, Ontario and Alberta and at www.carylbakervisage.com.

Magnolia & Willow eyeshadow and Sunrise & Pebble lipstick shades will become part of the core collection.

Fellow Albertans! There’s a Caryl Baker Visage Spa in Sunridge Mall, Calgary!! You must visit, as should I! They have a WHOLE range of spa services including makeup that we need to support! Let’s show them what Alberta LOVE is all about! Tell them I sent ya’ when you check out the Caryl Baker Limited Edition Spring 2016 Bloom Colour Collection!

Do you love Spring Makeup like I do? I’m telling you dudes, this is my makeup WEAKNESS. I know most people LOVE Fall makeup and I should too since it’s my favourite season. But there’s something about spring makeup collections that’s just SO. DANG. PRETTY.

Hey how you doin’? 😛 After my angry rant of a post I needed to step back and take a deep breath and remember: STUPID PEOPLE will always be around and it’s how you deal with them is the key to keep on truckin’….that and knowing you’ve got an upcoming trip to visit California and Marky! 😀 This has been the longest time in my life that I haven’t seen my daughter! I haven’t seen her since September 4th you guys! That’s like forever for a mama. And I think she misses home too because looky at her homework she posted on Instagram:
 photo IMG_3855.jpg

And yeah, it’s kind of silly we’re going next week when she’s coming home Dec.18th for Christmas break, but my Disneyland Annual Pass expires this month so, one more visit! Whether I renew it or not is something to think about…it’s a lot of money, and you have to go at least 4 times a year to make it worth the money. And with our dollar tanking like it’s the 2000s(OMG I swear it’s the 2000s again because I saw Panic At The Disco perform for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade), so I’m not sure how often we’ll go back next year, and that makes me sad.  🙁  You all know how I love California! Oh well, let’s just hope Justin Trudeau can help out, right? Hahaha, he makes me so happy…again…it’s like the 2000s again with the Liberals in power. I love it.

Went back to see the bison at Elk Island National Park! It’s just 20 minutes away for us, so we thought we’d go visit again before the snow started to fly here.

 photo IMG_3763.jpg

Had a delicious Saskatoon Berry milkshake too!

 photo IMG_3762.jpg

Of course I shared it with Terry because ME:

 photo 07fb558e-08cc-4fdb-8958-07be3a01300e.png

Winnie the Pooh is me in cartoon form I swear 😛

And it finally snowed! It sure took a long time! Usually we have snow before Halloween here.

 photo IMG_3829.jpg

I love the snow, and I love winter! And when winter comes here it’s usually BOOM. WINTER. No easing into it haha! FULL THROTTLE. As much as I love California, I’d sure miss the cold and snow! #freakIknow

So, I had my yearly neurologist appointment this week and passed with flying colours! #15yearsstrong #nocaneyet I love my MS neurologist-she’s actually from Winnipeg like me and just a couple of years younger than I am. She’s tiny! I’m 5’10 and well…husky LOL, and she weighs about 90 pounds wet at about 5’2″ and it makes me giggle when she does this one test where stand and then close my eyes with my feet right together. I used to start to tip over years ago and she’d try to catch me….and my thoughts always were: Little lady if I go down, you go with me. But…I don’t tip anymore! I don’t have to worry about crushing here anymore HAHA! I’m BETTER now than I was 5 years ago…our bodies and our minds can do amazing things with a positive mind set I tell you! I’m proof.

My neurologist is downtown, which is a good trip from my house, so when we go there we make the most of it! We stopped in to get some dessert at the amazing Duchess Bakery. It’s one of the top ten bakeries in the world, in case you didn’t know…HERE…in EDMONTON…amazes me how lucky we are!

 photo IMG_3923.jpg

Duchess Bakery Paris-Brest Hazelnut Pastry

SO yummy…I’m kind of glad I don’t live nearby as I’d be a LOT chubbier that’s for sure!

Then we decided to check out the Muttart Conservatory in Edmonton. We haven’t been in YEARS.

 photo IMG_3908.jpg

Our Conservatory is really cool and has 4 pyramids that house plants and flowers from different climate zones.

 photo IMG_3913.jpg

The pyramids are designed that way so that the snow falls off easily. Thoughtful and Winterproof designing! And it’s neat because it sounds like mini avalanches when the snow slides off, and you can really imagine what a full-fledged one probably sounds like because these mini ones are scary enough!

 photo IMG_3877.jpg

The Muttart grows Poinsettias and always has an amazing display of them every year.

 photo IMG_3864.jpg

Too Faced Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks set.jpg

And you can even buy some to take home, like these aqua ones which are so cool:

Too Faced Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks set.jpg

Pretty, hey? I don’t know how they get that shade though. I do know that Poinsettia shades are dependent upon how much light they get when growing. My piano teacher, the nun, used to grow them and sell them, and she had these cardboard houses all over the piano room with poinsettias in them. I suspect the blue is because of some blue dye in the water? If you know, tell us!

Too Faced Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks set

Too Faced Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks set.jpg

Too Faced Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks set

This little Too Faced Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks($45) set is DARLING….and I think worth it! It’s been one of my favourite holiday makeup items I’ve been lucky to preview.

Too Faced Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks set.jpg

Too Faced Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks set

I mean, the blushes are tiny, but they’re so pigmented you’d get so much use out of them-I’ve been wearing this Love Hangover blush and the Nude Melted Kisses Liquid Lipstick in Nude a LOT and there’s no dent it it yet. Just a little dip is all you need for these babies!

Too Faced Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks set.jpg

Swatchy Time!

And the other shades in the set are just as pretty:

Too Faced Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks set.jpg

Too Faced Fig Melted Kisses, Your Love Is King Blush Peony Melted Kisses, Justify My Love Blush

And lip swatchy time! I like the Too Faced Melted Kisses Liquid Lipsticks, although they can be a tad drying. I always prep my lips with a lip balm before wearing them. BOY, they last! If you’re a fan of liquid lipsticks and blush this Too Faced Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks set is nice. And hey-you could easily split it up into three gifts/stocking stuffers too!

Too Faced Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks set.jpg

Too Faced Melted Kisses Nude, Fig, and Peony

I also wanted to show you how I’ve been wearing eyeliner lately. I’ve got a TRICK you guys, and it’s a good one especially if you have hooded eyes like me.

Too Faced Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks set.jpg

So, I don’t do full on liquid eyeliner cat eyes because HELLO…Hooded Eyes dudes(I’m holding my eye really OPEN here hahaha). I’d have to make the liner really thick to show up and sure…sometimes I enjoy that look. Marky does it pretty much every day of her life. But it covers up any eyeshadow on your limited lid space. So, this is what I’ve been doing lately and it works well.

I’ll line my upper waterline with a really good eyeliner like the Urban Decay pencil ones. But I’ll go a little thicker on the outer edge, still just the waterline though…and then SMUDGE IT OUT onto the outer corner of my LID with an angled liner brush…like a tiny cat eye flick…take a look.

Too Faced Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks set.jpg

See what I mean? I hope so! There’s NOTHING on my upper lash line…it’s just the outer corners where I drag the eyeliner and smudge it out to LOOK like I’ve got full on eyeliner.

 photo ClosedIMG_9740.jpg

It’s a gentle flick! But it still gives that lift and the illusion that I’ve got a bit of a cat-eye flick going on without taking up all of my lid space and covering up my eyeshadow.
 photo IMG_9739.jpg

Neat huh? I hope I explained it well and you can see from the pictures what I’m talking about? If not, let me know, I’ll try to take more in depth pics…or even a video..GASP…hahaha!

So starts the holiday season! I love winter and Christmas in THEORY…but I honestly don’t really care for all the freakin’ Christmas music. I KNOW…and I’m a musical person! I play the piano, guitar and violin! BUT…I don’t like all the bands and singers doing their version of Christmas SONGS…not the carols… I love Christmas CAROLS…you know, the traditional stuff. But I can’t stand crap like I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus…WHY. And I don’t need to hear Gwen Stefani and everyone else singing it, ya’ know what I mean? #ChristmasMusicGRINCH

Happy Black Friday Shopping! Are you picking up anything today?

Let’s talk about STUFF. Stuff I’m liking? Beauty and other STUFF…you know STUFF. Because stuff is LIFE, right? Or is LIFE stuff? Guess it depends what side of the stuff you live on  😛

 photo IMG_8962_1.jpg

I’ve been skipping Zumba for the last week and a half, because my fave instructor took holidays. And hey…that’s all cool, ’cause I mean she’s a person and has to live outside of Zumba…but UGGGGH…I hate Zumba subs. You get used to an instructor’s style and choreography BIG time…a sub is just Zumba FAIL for me. So instead of taking a Zumba class I’ll regret, I choose to go for a good, brisk over an hour walk with the hubby and avoid Zumba disappointment. Zumba disappointment can sting you for YEARS people. 😛 Ok, ok…maybe weeks, but it FEELS like years I swear! I love going for a walk on the trails by our house. We usually go for about 7.5 km and it feels good!
 photo IMG_8801.jpg
Wild raspberries grow along our walking trail, which amazes me! They’re so SMALL compared to what you buy in store! WHAT is up with THAT?! Are grocery store raspberries mutants? Still doesn’t stop people from collecting these tiny morsels haha! We always see people foraging for berries on our walks.

I got a new mascara, Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara in Black Honey. MAN, I wish Clinique would just drop the whole CHUBBY, FATTENING SCHTICK. It kind of sickens me to be honest…but not enough yet to ignore them, but keep it up dudes…TRY ME. My chubby ass DON’T care what brand I put on my face since it’s around 3 feet away…  😀  😀

Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara in Black Honey.jpg

Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara in Black Honey

The mascara wand is your typical plastic many-sized bristles that seems to be the norm these days. I actually don’t mind the brush so much as the formula…it’s REALLY wet. And I’m usually a HUGE fan of Clinique mascara formulas, so this one is like a huge WTF moment for me. Not that I hate it…it’s just really wet, and the brush is all sloppy and covered in so much mascara that it scares me. I have to wipe off a LOT of product on a kleenex before going to my eye, and I kind of hate when I have to do that with a mascara. I feel like I’m wasting so much product.

Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara in Black Honey.jpg

Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara in Black Honey

Here’s a skin SWATCHY TIME of the shade:

Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara in Black Honey.jpg

Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara in Black Honey

NICE, right? But eh-it’s not really all that FATTENING..and I’m a fat girl, so TRUST ME…I know fat when I see it!

Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara in Black Honey.jpg

Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara in Black Honey

Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara in Black Honey.jpg

Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara in Black Honey

Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara in Black Honey is ok? But it’s not WOW. It gives great separation and length to my lashes, but it’s nothing to get all excited about. The colour is what saves it for me. I adore the shade. Clinique could write BLACK HONEY on friggin’ toilet paper and I’d be all over it like a bad cold. Black Honey was my first “grown-up lipstick” so I always have a tube in my my purse because 1: NOSTALGIA, and 2: It’s the lipstick they used on Liv Tyler for Arwen in LOTR(Lord Of The Rings in case you aren’t all up with the abbreviations) and…HELLOooooo- who doesn’t want Arwen Lips? Anyways, Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara in Black Honey will probably get loads better for me as the tube dries up a bit…I like my mascaras at a certain wetness level…which is about 3 weeks in for wet ones like this.

I wasn’t going to buy these Two Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16-Hour Blushes($32), but Marky really wanted one, so like a good mama, I ordered one for her…and one for me…you know… for BLUSH SCIENCE… 😛

Two Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16-Hour Blushes.jpg

Two Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16-Hour Blushes in Love Hangover, How Deep Is Your Love

Everybody keeps raving about the packaging on these, and I don’t get why? Is it the bunny imprint? The heart shape? So what? Wow, jaded beauty junkie or what, hey?  😀

Swatchy Time!

Two Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16-Hour Blushes in Love Hangover, How Deep Is Your Love.jpg

Two Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16-Hour Blushes in Love Hangover, How Deep Is Your Love

They’re both basically the same shade, a watermelon pink, just one is more shiny than the other. Marky likes shiny EVERYTHING, while old me prefers things to be not so shiny these days. But WOW. These are some seriously pigmented blushes! A little too much for us pale folks here at Beauty Reflections!

 photo IMG_8711.jpg

Too Faced How Deep Is Your Love

I’m wearing How Deep Is Your Love in that pic, and I’m telling you it was a barely DIP and then a hand brush before this puppy went onto my chubby cheeks. These blushes are truly made for darker skin tones than mine, which is about NC15 on a good day lately…sunscreen works! I’m so pale right now in the middle of summer and LOVE it. Hard to find a foundation that matches well lately…and it’s weirdly invigorating and making me feel all YOUNG again!  Anyways, the 16-hour wear time is full of SHITE…these are pretty average wearing for a blush I find…a good 8 hours and fading happens after that. Then again, maybe if I could actually wear MORE than a smidgen on my pale face in one go…well, that might make a difference in wear time. MAYBE. The shades are really pretty though! I like Too Faced Blushes.

 photo IMG_8558.jpg

Roast beef, caramelized onions, and a tiny bit of blue cheese quesadilla drizzled with some Nonna Pia’s balsamic glaze is SO GOOD. I got this flavour and the plain one-at Costco, but I’ve seen them sold at grocery stores as well. WORTH IT. Makes your sandwiches an experience!

LOOKY AT THIS BEAST OF A MACHINE!
 photo IMG_8607.jpg

Yup! I gotta a SNOWBLOWER! It was a cheap, used buy …but I’m so freaking excited for the snow to really start to fly here and USE it! I call it HUSQY (Husqvarna Snow Blower is the brand) for short…and I love him like the son I never had… 😛

A lot of you really liked my Instagram Post of my Grilled Lemon-Basil Tofu Burgers.

 photo IMG_8563.jpg

There were so GOOD! And here’s the link to the recipe. Safe to say it’s a new dinner staple at our house. I’m trying to incorporate more meatless yums here, so if you have any recipes, lead me to them! I used to be a vegetarian when I was in my 20s, but I can’t commit fully to it now, being anemic and all. But I do want to eat less meat and more veggies. Goals. Gotta have them, right?

Last day of July can you believe it? Happy Friday everyone! And Happy Long Weekend my fellow Canadians! What stuff have you been liking lately?
