Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Traditions Set And Fresh LE Zodiac Oval Soap

One of my fave skincare brands at Sephora is Fresh, and if you’re like me and always wanted to try their Black Tea Age-Delay line, then this set lets you do just that.

 Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Traditions

Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Traditions Set

Black tea ferment (kombucha) is a key ingredient in the line that helps soften, smooth, firm and brighten the appearance of skin. Sign me up I say!

You get a full size of the classic Fresh Soy Face Cleanser, which is lovely and gentle. I love taking it when I travel as it’s just perfect whatever kind of weather I’ll be dealing with, so I’m happy to have it. It’s just a really nice cleanser that never strips moisture from my face.

Next is a full size of Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Eye Concentrate. Lovely eye cream! It’s cooling, which I love for the morning as it helps wake up that tired under-eye area. As I age, I really notice that the under eye area is key to looking younger you guys. The more fresh and bright that part of me looks, the younger I look. This eye cream absorbs quickly, moisturizes and doesn’t interfere with concealer at all. Good stuff!

A small, trial size of Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Firming Serum is included. It’s supposed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, moisturize, and tighten up those sagging parts. Since it is a small size, hard to really tell if it did anything with lines. It does give a tightening effect. It’s an ok serum, but eh-I have other serums I like better and this one is pretty expensive so I won’t buy the full size.

You get a 30 ml size of Fresh Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask, which is the main reason I wanted to get this set. I really wanted to try this overnight mask, and I wasn’t disappointed.

Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Traditions .jpg

It contains black tea ferment, black tea extract, blackberry leaf extract, and lychee seed extract to improve the appearance of skin elasticity. There’s belle de nuit extract to soothe, plus peptides and hyaluronic acid as well. It’s got LOADS of good for your skin ingredients that really help it to repair overnight. And NO SILICONES, which as you know I can’t stand in my night time skincare.

The Fresh Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask is probably one of the BEST overnight masks I’ve ever tried, and I’ll for sure be picking up the full size soon. It deeply hydrates, smooths and firms my skin overnight, and I can’t be without it now!

The Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Traditions set costs $130 and is still available at Sephora. So, if you’d like to give the line a try (which is the #1 selling skincare line at Sephora) then check this one out!

Oh, and this is the coolest soap I’ve ever seen/used!

Fresh has brought back their LE Zodiac Oval Soap Collection! This one is the Capricorn one, which has the Fresh Sugar scent and is wrapped up with a little quartz stone, and gorgeous wrapping paper that matches whether the sign is Fire, Earth, Water, Air. The scent also corresponds to the sign. The Zodiac Oval Soaps are a vegetable-based soap enriched with moisturizing shea butter, and they are SO good. Take a look at them HERE.  They would make great stocking stuffers or teacher gifts! I’m for sure going to get the Leo one for Marky’s stocking.

Are you done Christmas Shopping yet? Are you ready for Christmas? I am not haha! I still have some cleaning to do the next couple of days, mainly Marky’s room, as she is back from college at the end of the week! YAY!

Ok! Here are the rest of the Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Lipstick swatches I promised you.

Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Lipsticks

And not just swatches- but pics of them on MY FACE. Because I think you SHOULD see lipsticks ON a blogger’s face-not just arm swatches, or just pretty pics of just the lipsticks themselves. THAT’S CALLED ACTUAL BLOGGING FOR THE READERS. Hey, I get it-maybe some bloggers don’t have time…sure, I’m busy too? And it’s a pain in the ass to take full face pics. I get it. And to be honest-I’m getting older and older by the minute and it’s getting nerve-racking to post pics of my aging face here. But I think it’s important to show what a lipstick looks like on my face! I really do! If all I and other readers ever see are just swatches on arms, or just close-ups of your lips(which I used to do too, but if you’ve noticed I don’t anymore because honestly, it really doesn’t tell a reader that much) or just pretty pics of JUST the lipstick? It makes readers wonder if you really do wear and use the makeup! Just sayin’, and being my big-ole’ big mouth can’t keep quiet Tracy as usual  😛 #minirant

MANDATORY-If-You-Call-Yourself-A-Beauty Blogger-Arm-Swatches, right Paris? 😀

Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Lipstick C502, C105, C603, M401, C211, C506

So, C means satin finish, and M means matte. No sheers in the Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Lipsticks, which is ok by me. The satin finishes are super creamy, super comfy, and mildly hydrating even. You already know from yesterday’s post how I feel about the mattes, which is just plain LOVE. The pigment is out of this world on both finishes, and lasting power is pretty awesome-easily a between meals lasting time.

An easy to wear peachy nude! A lip-liner is needed if you have pretty pigmented lips like mine, which I didn’t use here, but when I wear this one you better believe I do.

Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Lipstick C211

This shade for me is a MLLB shade-it’s pretty close to my natural lip shade and I love it. An every-day, no fuss, wear everywhere shade.

Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Lipstick M401

Gorgeous bright, matte red that everyone needs in their lipstick wardrobe! Love it lots!

Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Lipstick C506

Gorgeous plum berry shade that’s very on trend right now. I love it, but I think I’d prefer this kind of a shade to be a matte, as it would be less of a fuss to deal with while wearing. But, that’s me and my personal preference speaking there. And then again, that sheen (。•̀ᴗ-)✧  on this shade is GORGEOUS.

Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Lipstick C502

Make Up For Ever calls this one Taupe-Violet, but I kind of think it’s more of a greyed-violet. Not an easy to wear shade, especially when you’re almost 50! Again, a lip liner or a concealer should be used to block out your lip pigment when you wear a shade like this. I do appreciate this shade is a cream though, as a matte might have made it settle into lip lines. Although, I do think that this brilliant new formula could have handled this greyed-violet in a matte.

Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Lipstick C603

This shade is called Midnight Blue by Icona Pop and it’s a LE shade, so if it’s something that speaks to you, better get it quick!

Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Lipstick C603.jpg

I used to love shades like this! And I still do, but this is a little too warm for my skin tone, and in all honesty, it should have been a matte. It’s too fussy for my liking, and I prefer blotting it down if I venture to wear this shade out. I haven’t yet, as all I’ve done lately is go to zumba or shopping for Christmas stuff. But if I had a party to go to? I’d try and rock it. Why not? It’s only makeup, and it’s meant to be FUN. This shade with icy silvery eyes and some gorgeous navy too would look BEAUTIFUL.

There you go! So, any of these shades appeal to you? I love the formula, and think getting one in a shade that’s perfect for you is worth the $27 CAD.

And, do you agree? Do you like seeing lipsticks on a face as well?

You all must know by now that Make Up For Ever reformulated their Artist Rouge Lipsticks. I’m a little late to the lipstick party here, but PFFT-does that really matter? Maybe, but I’m gonna revive that lipstick party train for ya’ll just before you need a Christmas Party lipstick!

DANG…these are some NICE lipsticks you guys. You need a lipstick that’s as perfect as Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Lipstick M204 is for me! And I know you can find one because there are like fifty-something shades that range from the avant-garde to the just plain beautiful.

To refresh our makeup-obsessed minds, Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Lipsticks now pack 25% more pigment than before and yeah, these are one swipers. SO PIGMENTED. But yet, they feel so light on the lips as to opposed say a NARS Audacious lipstick. Those are a heavier formula for sure. Make Up For Ever feels better on the lips, easier to wear, hydrating-even the mattes like my shade here. The mattes go on with a velvety finish at first and dry down more matte after some wear time. I like that. Kind of eases you into that whole matte feeling.

Isn’t she a BEAUTY?!!! I loves me a fresh tube of lipstick. It’s one of my favourite things, and it doesn’t have to be wrapped up in brown paper packaging and strings either….   😛

Swatchy Time!

Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Lipstick M204

Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Lipstick M204 is a perfect, bright shade of pinky-red that just perks up my face! Raspberry Pink Make Up Forever calls it! It gives me life! And makes me look a WHOLE lot younger. Pinky reds like this one take 10 years off my face I swear.

wearing Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Lipstick M204

I love these new Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Lipsticks! I have a few other shades as well-let me know if you’d like to see some of them and I’ll oblige of course. The satin finishes are just as lovely as the mattes. But, if you are looking for a party-perfect matte lipstick? I say look at these, particularly the shade M501 which is a Plum Violet. I’m getting that one next, and I think it’d be PERFECT for Christmas and winter!

What shade of lipstick makes you look younger? You need to find that ONE shade, and when you do-you will know!

This year, we are just filling Christmas stockings for each other. Actually, it’s what we’ve been doing for quite a few years. Instead, we donate money to The Huron Carole which helps the food banks across Canada.

Filling Christmas stockings with little useful gifts is way more fun anyways! And next to chocolate, eos lip balms have been a regular stocking stuffer ever since they’ve been around in Canada.

 photo IMG_2773.jpg

This year there are two new eos Limited Edition Holiday packs, and each one has some new flavours too!

 photo IMG_2776.jpg

eos Lip Balms are 100% natural and 95% organic, and in case you never noticed, the formulas don’t contain water and are sugar-free too. I like that a lot! It means they contain more of the good stuff, like antioxidant-rich vitamin E, moisturizing shea butter, and jojoba oil. There’s no petroleum in eos lip balms either. Instead they use organic beeswax, olive oil and coconut oil. In fact, eos is the largest user of organic beeswax in the world and they buy enough coconut oil a year to fill the two large water tanks at the Toronto CN Tower! That’s a lot of oil you guys!

eos Limited Edition Organic Holiday 2-pack: Winterberry and Vanilla Bean ( $7.49 to $8.99)
 photo IMG_2786.jpg

This great little two-pack has the flavours Vanilla Bean and Winterberry. Both are equally yummy smelling, but my personal fave is Vanilla Bean! The scent is so warm and comforting and not fake smelling at all. I might just have to keep this one for myself… 😀

eos Limited Edition Holiday 3-pack: New Visibly Soft Honey Apple, NEW organic Wildberry and Passion Fruit ($10.99 to $16.99)
 photo IMG_2788.jpg

This pack is an awesome deal and has three festive scents. The striped pink sphere is the eos Visibly Soft Lip Balm in Honey Apple and it’s so good! The Visibly Soft formula leaves your lips instantly smoother looking. It’s one of my fave lip balms to use before using a matte lipstick. Of course the Wildberry and Passion Fruit are amazing as well. To be honest I don’t think I’ve ever come across a flavour of eos Lip Balm I didn’t like. My love for them is well documented here on the blog!

Now, sure you can stick one of these new eos Limited Edition Holiday Packs in a stocking as is-they’re cute and come in festive packaging. But you could split up the packages depending on how many stockings you have to fill. That’s what so nice about eos lip balms! Either way, you’ll still see a huge smile on Christmas morning! And there’s nothing more important than that!

You can find these eos Limited Edition Holiday packs at Loblaws, Uniprix, London Drugs, Jean Coutu, Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart and other mass retailers across Canada. Visit http://evolutionofsmooth.ca/ to find out more!

Are you done your Christmas shopping yet? If not, this is a great time to do some shopping at the Shopbop Buy More, Save More Sale!  The more you buy, the more you save-PLUS it includes SALE items this time! You can really score some awesome deals!

The Sale begins today 6:30AM EST (New York Time) Tuesday, 11/22 and ends Monday, 11/28, 11:59 pm PT.

For my Canadian ladies, it’s pretty easy to Shopbop shop. They offer free shipping, plus they collect any duties at checkout so there’s no surprise at the door. And the sale price takes care of our lousy exchange rate too.
I’ve been wanting a saddle bag for awhile now, and I’m going to pick this one up, the Cynthia Rowley Tabitha Saddle Bag:
screen-shot-2016-11-22-at-11-55-26-am

It’s not too small, which I like! Plus it’s got some studs to edge it up a bit-most saddlebags are so preppy looking, and I’m not preppy at all. Now that’s my Christmas gift to myself done haha! Now, I just gotta get something for Marky which is pretty easy-as long as it’s black she’s good. She’s pretty easy to shop for.

Happy Shopping everyone!
