I’m all about bright lipstick these days, so I’m loving the new MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Acrylip($29).

These new lippies from Make Up For Ever are inspired by the intense pigment that acrylic paints have. And if you’ve ever painted with acrylics, then you’ll totally get what they mean. These are probably some of the brightest and most intensely pigmented lipsticks I’ve ever tried. Make Up For Ever isn’t fooling around with these babies.

The Make Up For Ever Artist Acrylip has a cushion applicator that releases product as you squeeze the tube. BE CAREFUL. Don’t go hulk squeezing the tubes! See how much I squeezed out there? That’s all you need to cover your lips. That’s it. I think they’re pretty easy to apply too. Easy enough to get my cupid’s bow defined.

These are supposed to have the ease of applying a gloss, yet give you the look of a lipstick. Sure. Sort of. Except you don’t have to be as careful with a gloss. Well, I guess it all depends on how pigmented the gloss is haha. Like I said these are super pigmented and the more you apply, the brighter and bolder your lips will look.

The formula is lovely! Non-sticky and non-drying, Acrylips feel pretty weightless on my lips. These are comfy and feel good! But remember-they don’t completely dry down and do move around. So if you smoosh your lips together, the colour will move. Which is why I say less is more with these. A little bit of MUFE Acrylip just melts right into your lips and looks amazing.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Acrylip #202 is a bright Coral Pink.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Acrylip #500 is a bright vivid lilac.

And my fave is MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Acrylip #201, a Fuchsia Pink.

They last on the lips as long as a normal lipstick does, which for me is around 4 hours. They aren’t transfer-proof though, so it all depends on what you do with your lips while wearing these HAHA. They do fade to a stain, which I love. I like them!

Worth getting one in a bright fun colour I say! One of these will definitely brighten up your winter!

Wow, we’re in the middle of January already! Sorry I’ve been MIA, but after the New Year we went to California with Marky, and then of course I caught a nasty head cold and have been sick the past week. But I’m back! And got lots more to share I promise!

The fuchsia is my favourite too. I find it’s helpful to apply with a brush. Love your eyeliner.

    • It would! I just couldn’t be bothered with a lip brush lol! And thanks! You’re the second person to tell me that today. I guess I should wear it more often!

  • Lily

Oooh I LOVE the fuchsia pink on you! And the wing liner looks awesome 🙂

  • Love ’em ALL on you! <3

Missed you Tracy! Happy New Year and glad to hear you’re feeling better! Those lippies look AMAZING on you!! That coral is a real knockout.

  • Hot, Tracy! My favorite is the Fuchsia Pink as well! Sounds like Artist Acrylip is much like the one I’ve tried recently – L’Oreal Infallible Lip Paints (I hear there is one from Maybelline which has the similar applicator, but I’m sure MUFE makes them so much better.

  • These look AMAZING on you! And I love your hair in the first photo! And lady, THAT CAT EYE THOUGH.

I’m glad you’re feeling better! I had a horrible cold too, after visiting S’s family. I just stopped coughing yesterday, LOL. Wtf, winter colds, why you suck so much???

    • Thanks dude hahaha! It’s a lazy cat-eye though truth be told, my whole lid is basically part of it haha. Can’t do a fine one anymore.
All colds suck! At least this one lasted just a week. I think exercising and sweating it out helped get rid of it faster.
