And Then There Were Three-Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Blush

I bought one Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Blush when I FINALLY spotted them at my Sephora. I was waiting for these to debut after seeing them on @BeautyGeeks and decided I’d need to get one in the name of “Blush Science”. I had to try this. I’m a blush fiend and spray blush in a can? C’MON.

I LOVE THESE SO MUCH. I now have three. I’ll probably own the last shade soon, even though I’m not really a fan of cool pink blush on me. But, who am I to break up a misty perfect blush family?

Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Blush($25) is just what it is-blush you spray on. In a can. The mist is so fine that yes, you CAN spray this right on your cheeks if you so choose to. And I do that often believe it or not!

Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Blush: Such a Peach, Orange You Glad, Rose Without Thorns

Now, as you can see, if you spray too close to your skin like I did for the swatches, you don’t get an even application. So, if you are brave enough to spray these directly onto your cheeks, MAKE SURE YOU’RE SPRAYING FROM 8 INCHES AWAY, HEY? I like spraying the blush right onto a stippling brush and, then applying onto my cheeks. But you know what? I don’t really mind spraying onto my cheeks either. BUT, Tracy has CHEEKZ-like these babies aren’t hard to miss. So when I spray a Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Blush right onto my cheeks, they get ON ma’ cheeks and not in my eyes. If you have a smaller head and cheeks than me(and let’s face it, who DOESN’T), then I’d suggest going the stippling brush route. Nobody wants blush in their eye, trust me. 😛

Today I’m wearing Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Blush in Rose Without Thorns which is in the pink can. Yeah, don’t judge the colour by what the can looks like is all I can say! Rose Without Thorns is a great natural, neutral  rose blush. I was taking lipstick photos today, so this was a perfect blush to wear because it goes with any lipstick I swear.

Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Blush($25) are so lightweight, so buildable, look natural and last all day for me. They’re supposed to be waterproof too so yay- these would be the perfect blush for the hot days of summer time! And I bet they’d last all day at Disneyland! DISNEYLAND…I miss it…I’m getting that itch again you guys… 😀 😀

My fave Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Blush shade is Such A Peach-it’s like NARS Orgasm in liquid form. It even has some fine sparkles that just make cheeks glow! Heck, I love them all! You gotta try one fellow blush fiends!

How’s it going?! I made an appointment to get my hair cut tomorrow-but then I cancelled it HAHAHA. I just have so much stuff to do! But I’m going to have to get it cut soon you guys, but wow  can you tell how much I hate going to the salon? I love my hair stylist, I really do! But the time, and the money-I hate that part a lot. SIGH. And my hair is so low maintenance these days that it just feels so silly to spend money on it. All I do is wash it, put it up in a bun and that’s pretty much it. I just don’t care enough haha!

What do you think? Yay? Or Nay to spray blush?

  • Thank you for this review, Tracy! I almost bought one because I sprayed it on the back of my hand and I loved it but I wondered how the longevity was! Now I know they are worth a buy!

I actually have a hair appointment tomorrow, cannot wait to get my roots covered! And I will probably get a little trim too. I want to do something different with my hair but I am lacking ideas!

    • You are welcome! I love them.
Yeah, other than put pink in it, I have no clue about hair either so HAHAHA! Good luck!

  • Hmm this sounds both gimmicky and intriguing! I wonder if we’ll get them here -it’s funny what they DON’T bring in 😛

  • You make me laugh to much 😀 I could possibly beat you with a bigger head and cheeks, we’d have to measure, lol! Even so, I don’t think I’m adventurous enough to use a blush in spray!
PS don’t worry about not cutting your hair for now, I recently chopped mine off a bit too short (only a few cm too chort) for my liking and I hate it. Oh well, I suppose in two months it be fine again… If you don’t chop, at least you won’t be feeling like I do now!

    • 😀 😀 We’d have to have a head/cheek Face-Off but I’m pretty sure I’d win HAHAHA!
Advice taken! I think I’ll wait until the snow melts then, so I’ll have a couple of extra inches to spare then!

  • Ir’s a yay for me! I like the shades a lot. I wonder if I’d get along with the airbrush formula…

  • Oh wow, I thought for sure these wouldn’t be good! Glad to hear they are good! Pfft, I think my baby face is bigger than yours.

  • This completely intimidates me but also intrigues me. They all look so gorgeous and this would be nice for me to take on my summer trip…so ya, probably gonna cave next time I place an order haha

  • I looked at those in store but there were too many other things to look at. The colour really suits you.

  • Yeah, but I can stand them for some reason! It’s weird! I love them!

  • I’m scared as hell to try a spray blush but Rose Without Thorns looks amazing on you. With my coordination skills, I’d probably miss the brush and get it on the white sweater hanging directly behind it or something LOL

    • Hahahaha I don’t think that would happen! You have some mean hand coordination skillz dude with the nail designs you do! And hey look at my hair-no blush on it! I don’t think it really gets everywhere or stick to anything besides skin? And like I said, stippling brush is my preferred method anyways! 😉

  • These are so pretty!!! But you know, I often spray myself in the eye with Fix+…so I don’t trust myself, hahahaha. BLUSH EYEBROWS, FTW. I could probably spray ’em on a brush like you said. But I am saving up for some new brushes. A lot of mine are getting old and scratchy and I want to treat myself to some nice ones soon!

  • Lily

How interesting! But I doubt I’ll get the spray where I want. I tend to shut my eyes when I spray face mist – it’s just my very natural reaction. LOL! But I do want to check it out just out of curiosity… since there’s now a Sephora and all.

  • These are totally gimmicky but I’m totally feeling it! So once you spray it onto your stippling brush, do you just dab the brush onto your face? And do you swirl the brush at all or does that just mess it up?
