Ren Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial is Wonderful!

Remember when I told you how my skin can tolerate lactic acid better than glycolic? Well, I found another product that my skin just LOVES, Ren Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial.

Ren Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial

For those of you that thought the scent of the Kate Somerville RetAsphere Micro Peel seemed too gross( it seriously smells like a used wet washcloth-a really OLD used washcloth) then this you can handle! At least I think you can!  😀 😀 Plus this is cheaper too!

This is my first(I think?) REN Skincare product and call me impressed! Definitely have to look at the brand a bit more. But this caught my eye on our last trip to California, so being the responsible Beauty Junkie I am trying to be  😉  I asked for a sample. Bought it the next day  😀 because I LOVED it.

Ren Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial is an overnight treatment mask that not only delivers a nice, gentle exfoliation but it also hydrates at the same time. It uses a blend of lactic and glycolic acids with enzymes to do all the good things that exfoliating your skin chemically can do: exfoliate of course, repair uneven skin texture, and lighten up skin pigmentation. Ren Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial hydrates with some cool SCIENCEY TIME! Sodium Lactate gently raises the skin’s ph and attracts water to the skin to plump and deeply hydrate. Neat, huh? Science works dudes.

The result? Clearer, brighter, calmer, rested looking skin in ONE NIGHT. I promise. That’s what I noticed and what made me buy it after one use. And no dry, flaky, irritated skin which I normally experience with chemical exfoliation. #WIN

What’s also cool about Ren Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial is that you can use it alone, or over your favourite serum, and under your fave moisturizer. After I apply two pumps all over my face, neck and décolleté, I let it absorb and then top it off with my Filorga Sleep Recover Anti Fatigue Night Balm, because that’s my fave night moisturizer STILL. 😀

You can use Ren Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial two to three times a week. I use it about twice a week, and that seems enough for me. I might work up to three times a week, we shall see. #beingcarefulnottoirritate  My skin looks brighter, more even toned, clearer, more awake…all the good things you want when you use a skincare product! What I love is actually being able to SEE results…there haven’t been a lot of skincare products that I’ve used that have done that.  I can probably count them on one hand  to be honest hahaha…hey, that might make a good blog post! Let me know if that interests you. Ren Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial delivers results. And that’s results without irritation, without any problems, and NO breakouts. None. It’s good stuff. Check it out. Oh, and btw it’s not available on Sephora Canada Online for some reason??!! But I have seen it in store so, yeah I don’t know what’s up with that.

REN Skincare! I need more! What are you favourite REN Skincare products? What should I try next?

I’ve had pretty good results with REN! They’ve gotten pretty expensive though, so I don’t really look at them nowadays. But my skin liked the glycolic heavy mask from the same radiance series. I think that one had lactic acid in it too but I like both.

    • Yeah, all skincare has gotten pretty expensive now at Sephora. The combo of lactic and glycolic seems to actually work for me so that makes me happy. I really want to try that Flash Vitamin C cleanser next I think.

      • Lesley Goldberg

I love the Micro Polish cleanser and I also use the Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask and the Vita Mineral Omega 3 Optimum Skin Oil, which does have a slightly fishy smell. I used to use a peel they made but it was discontinued.

      • Nice! I will look into those suggestions! Thank you!

  • I’ve only tried a handful of REN products and that was AGES ago! Time to look back into the brand, I say!

  • Lily

I remember using REN’s Radiance serum but wasn’t that impressed. That’s about it though. I love overnight masks! I have 2 still, but this goes straight to my list of things to try. Masks are a must for me 🙂

  • Angela

Ooo this is intriguing! Thanks for the tip on it. If it operates that quickly, then I’ll have to check it out. Do you know if you can get this at Shoppers or is it only Sephora? I picked up the new Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid lipstick (one of the nude colours) yesterday and I am in love, so wouldn’t mind a trip back to Shoppers in case the deep red finds its way into my basket 😉 haha

    • Only at Sephora. And hahaha which colour did you get? I have the most neutral one, all the other shades looked so BRIGHT to me.

  • Hi Tracy! A product that delivers results in one night? I’m impressed! I know that REN is a CF brand so that’s something I’ll have to look into! xo

  • Well hows that for immediate results!! I’ve only ever tried a moisturiser from REN and it was really nice actually. It’s not a brand I often see in shops so I forget about them.

    • Such a good product I love it. And yeah, I forget about it too, but I want to try more from them.

  • RESULTS IN ONE NIGHT? what? I have never even heard about this brand before (because I’m beauty-lame!) but call me intrigued!

    • It’s really good stuff! It’s a great brand and I’m just discovering some of their things myself.

  • That’s the one I want to get next!

  • Emma Bovary

I definitely want to try this one out, I haven’t tried anything from REN but really like the look of a lot of their product line, and the fact that you saw results that fast makes me all grabby hands about it 😛

    • I like the sounds of a lot of their line as well! I’ll be trying more in the future too!

  • Hahaha the Filorga is still going strong, can’t get rid of that eh 😀
You should give their glycolactic mask a go, that’s one of my personal favorites.

    • I love that Filorga so MUCH. I will! I think I actually have it, just need to break it out!
