Aveeno Hand Creams to Help Hands For Fall #AveenoActiveNaturals

Happy November 1st! Wow! I can’t believe that it’s November already! #TimeReallyDoesFly

I don’t know about you guys, but now that it’s getting chillier here in Alberta, my hands are starting to rebel. I love the cooler weather and being able to see my breath in the morning on the way to Zumba, but my hands don’t! Plus I’m cooking and baking a lot more now that I don’t have to worry about the oven heating up the house. So that means I’m washing my hands more often, which dries out my hands even more.  So my hands are getting hit from both sides of the dry coin. They need some serious moisture and relief right now!

AVEENO® Helping Hands For Fall

Aveeno has saved my hands with their awesome hand creams-Aveeno always comes to my rescue! #loveAveeno

Aveeno® Skin Relief Hand Cream

AVEENO® Skin Relief Hand Cream

AVEENO® Skin Relief Hand Cream is the first one I start to use when my hands need help. It instantly relieves and soothes my dry, itchy, irritated hands with Active Naturals® Colloidal Oatmeal. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave my hands greasy. Plus it keeps on moisturizing for 24 hours, and even lasts through all the hand washing I seem to be doing right now. It’s fragrance-free too, so perfect for those of you that are sensitive to fragrances. This is one of the best hand creams in the market I swear!

Aveeno® Positively Ageless Skin Strengthening Hand Cream

AVEENO® Positively Ageless Skin Strengthening Hand Cream

AVEENO® Positively Ageless Skin Strengthening Hand Cream has an extract of the southernwood plant that contains a natural combination of sugars and polyphenols. This formula has antioxidants to help restore the skin’s moisture barrier, making it stronger and more resilient. Your hands will be moisturized for 24 hours too. All of Aveeno’s hand creams do that and I love it. This one leaves your hands feeling silky smooth, and I love the light floral fragrance-smells like lilacs to me! Love it!

Aveeno® Eczema Care Hand Cream

AVEENO® Eczema Care Hand Cream

AVEENO® Eczema Care Hand Cream is formulated with Active Naturals® Colloidal Oatmeal as well, and humectants and ceramides. It helps strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier and helps prevent the extra dry, irritation that comes with eczema from recurring. I don’t have eczema, but this cream really keeps my hands from getting all itchy and dry again, so once I get my hands in tip-top shape with the other Aveeno hand creams, I use this one every night to lock in all that good moisture.

And there you go! My Aveeno Hand Cream Prescription for getting your hands ready for the cold weather! Now I’m not saying you need all THREE to help your hands, but get one of them for sure! Which ever one speaks to you and will help you and your dry hands feel better. And I promise, you won’t be sorry and your hands will thank you!

What’s your favourite hand cream to get your hands in tip top shape and ready to deal with the cold weather?

  • i wash my hands way more often than i should and my hands are starting to get chronically dry. hand moisturizer for24 hours sounds like a god send.

  • I love Aveeno. I need to have mostly scentless things on my hands and they moisturize so well!

  • I’ve been overlooking these, I’ll have to try one! I’ve moved back to the east coast from the west coast and I’ve been spoiled with mild winters for the last 6 years. I think this winter is going to feel really cold!

Ugh I’ve been very lazy about applying hand cream and it shows, especially in my nail posts! I should try one of the 24-hour hand creams, even my lazy butt can apply hand cream once a day hahahaha

  • I’ve tried Aveeno twice now and so far I’ve always been disappointed, so now I’m a bit apprehensive about trying more from the brand… This does sounds great though, I’ll give ’em that.

  • I can vouch for the effectiveness in soothing eczema – I’ve used Aveeno and it really does calm down the itch!

Oh Tracy, I don’t think there’s Aveeno here. I read this post yesterday, actually, then went to our local pharmacy to have a look. No luck – this brand is not available where I live! I’ve been getting drier hands and legs lately, and it’s weird. I have a strong feeling it’s due to age. LOL! I still have a bottle of lotion (GWP) so I’ve been using that, but I want to look for something good yet affordable.
Guess I have to keep looking!

  • I was researching Aveeno a while back and I noticed we have a very similar brand here called A-Derma, they use the same Rhealba oat extract.. So much to try, so little skin 😛
