AmorePacific Treatment Enzyme Peel: The ONE Skincare Product That Has Changed My Skin

Everyone. I repeat EVERYONE. Needs to get AmorePacific Treatment Enzyme Peel($72). This product has CHANGED my skin. CHANGED it. For the BETTER.

Proof is in the pictures, right? RIGHT.

Tracy, about 3 years ago. With red hair LOL. I can’t even remember having coloured hair anymore! And I’m wearing foundation, btw.

After our Europe trip, I had SEVERE hyperpigmentation or sun damage appear on my face. Now, intellectually I know it wasn’t Rome that caused these STRIPES of Sun Damage (as I have forever named them and refer to them) to appear on my face-this was damage from my youth appearing finally-but STILL. I didn’t care for Rome(it was hot, people were rude? and it was TOO Catholic LOL) , so I’m just gonna blame Rome for them appearing, Ok? 😛 I know. I’m a 48 year old BRAT. And that stripe of Sun Damage is STILL visible in that picture even though I’m wearing foundation. Also for later reference, notice the lack of SPOT on my cheek by my nose on the right side of that picture…you’ll need to remember it in a second.  😛 because it appeared on my face somewhere in this time space.

After Rome, I had a couple of professional glycolic peels to try to diminish the sun damage, and while it sort of worked?? It also HURT my skin beyond belief. I was peeling, RED, hurting-after the second peel I never went back for the rest of my ‘prescribed” treatments. I couldn’t! I decided that whatever. This is what aging is. DEAL with it Tracy.

And I did. For YEARS. And my skin became duller. And more spots appeared.

Sometimes it felt like they’d appear overnight…which I know wasn’t true… but it sure seemed like it. That weird spot on my right cheek-WTF WAS THAT. I hated it. HATED that THING that was growing…yes it felt like it was growing on my face. It wasn’t there before Rome! I’d even photoshop it out on face pictures because it annoyed me to no end.

And then…one day I was praising the virtues of AmorePacific Moisture Bound Sleeping Recovery Mask on Instagram(which btw is AMAZING as well-I saw a difference after ONE USE), a couple of my really good friends( HI ASHLEY AND DANI) suggested that I try the AmorePacific Treatment Enzyme Peel. And, since lately I’m a bigger skincare junkie than makeup junkie? I decided what the heck. Sure. Buy it.

BEST. Decision. Of. My. LIFE.

After using AmorePacific Treatment Enzyme Peel for the past 4 months:

That growth on the right side of my face??? IS GONE. Any other spots look LIGHTER. And the STRIPES of Sun Damage have disappeared. The sun damage on either side of my forehead is also GONE. And notice how the texture of my skin has changed? I’m not wearing any foundation in that After pic, but my skin looks SMOOTHER. CLEARER. HEALTHIER. More radiant even! The darkness that was around my eyes is also diminished! It’s amazing actually, and hard to believe. But like I said…proof is in the pictures!

AmorePacific Treatment Enzyme Peel is an exfoliator like NONE I’ve ever used. It’s a powder, with no pieces of anything. It’s a smooth powder, with no bits of papaya or beads or anything abrasive. It’s totally a new kind of exfoliator for this old gal. I just pour a bit of this smooth powder into my hand, add a few drops of water and it foams up like a regular cleanser. But it’s NOT just a regular cleanser! Natural papaya enzymes work to eliminate dry, dull surface cells and toxins to reveal a soft and smooth complexion. It helps brighten and even skintone without chemical abrasives and YES IT DOES PEOPLE. Yes it does. I massage it onto my face for at least 30 seconds…longer maybe. And then rinse. Right after using it, my face feels smoother! And not tight and dry either. OR?? Scratched UP! Also? Because you’re removing all the dead skin cells off your face when using AmorePacific Treatment Enzyme Peel? It also improves penetration of other skincare treatment products you’re using! BOOM. ‘Nuff said.

All I know is this suff…this AmorePacific Treatment Enzyme Peel? I can’t live without now. I’ve even gotten the hubby to start using it, as he has a lot of sun damage from working outdoors. And so far? He’s noticing a difference as well! It’s safe to use every day too. I use it almost every day in the shower after my workout, and after cleansing. Every other day is what I do…because this stuff as miraculous as I think it is? Ain’t cheap. But PFFTTTT. Does that matter? Nope. Because in my eyes? It works. And hopefully, your eyes can see the difference too in my pictures and decide to get AmorePacific Treatment Enzyme Peel. It’ll be the best decision you’ve ever made for your skin. PROMISE. Order it from Sephora now!

Ever use a product that has CHANGED your skin for the better? What was it? Let us know!

  • I am so excited to see this! I have been using this product for the last month(?) and I am in love with it! It is straight up magic!

    • It is! Swear to TINKERBELL LOL! Keep using it! You’ll see a difference like I have for sure!

      • I have already noticed a HUGE difference. My skin has been super dry but using this has made a crazy improvement!

      • Right? It like fixes EVERYTHING I swear!

  • Lydia

Adds to Sephora basket, clicks checkout, DONE. This is just what I have been looking for. I’ve been using Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant (also a powder) but I haven’t seen any major results.

    • I tried that before too…it does nothing. THIS is MAGIC. I hope you love it too Lydia!

  • :-O Man, the proof really is in the pudding! And by the pudding I mean your before and after shots. This is magic in a bottle, wow! I actually already have some sun spots (stupid me never used SPF until she was in her mid-twenties…) so I wonder if this peeling could change my skin as much as it changed yours.

  • Whoaa I need to lay my hands on this! I’ve always wanted to try the brand, but it’s not available here. SO intrigued! I think the most life-changing skincare products I’ve tried recently are the Verso ones. Talking about retinol: I SO want to hear what you think about the Sunday Riley oil!

    • I will for sure let you know! Just started last night…and I’m going to go slow with it LOL as me and retinol usually don’t get a long. But I’m hoping this oil form will be gentler!

  • Lulubelle

I’ve been using this for several years now, and I’m still on the original bottle. Yes, it’s expensive, but it lasts FOREVER.

  • Bellyhead

I’m on the dregs of my third bottle of this! I LOVE how effective and gentle this is. I’m gearing up to repurchase at the next Sephora event!

    • Wahooo Belly! It’s so great when something actually works! And Sephora Event?? When? Because I’ll get another then too!

      • Bellyhead

I think Sephora will be doing their 15% off in April (is my hope). 😀 Time to replenish my peel!

  • rachlovespenguins

Hmmmm cheaper per ounce than my Tatcha rice enzyme powder….. Might have to scout out a sample!

    • I’ve tried the Tatcha…and this imo is BETTER. Sometimes I think Tatcha is a bit hyped.

      • rachlovespenguins

Their much-lauded lipbalm doesn’t do it for me. It’s nice, don’t get me wrong, and PRETTY, but I’ve got stuff that works better. I do think that in most cases though it deserves some of the hype (I started out small and loved it so much that now I’ve tried nearly a dozen things) but so much about skincare is subjective too. And hype or not, regardless of whether everyone else we know loves it or hates it, at these sorts of price levels the product should knock our socks off in order to earn a place in the vanity. I love my Tatcha rice powder. I do. Would I consider cheating on it? I didn’t think I would, but yeah, I very well could. The oil cleanser is a different story though. It’s been finicky-eyeball approved and I will never argue with that. Hype forever! LOL 😛

      • Hahaha glad that oil works for you! I don’t use any oils on my eyes now, as my eyes hate it. Although, I have one from Klorane and it’s pretty good and doesn’t irritate my eyes either.
I hear ya! At my age I need my socks knocked off for sure and this stuff does it for me. I also love Amore’s Sleep Mask too-I have so many around here and have tested them all, but still think that one is the best one hands down.

  • Lily

SOLD SOLD SOLD! Need to hunt this down now 🙂

  • Angela

OMG Tracy, that looks AMAZING!! If it weren’t so expensive, I’d load up my Sephora cart RIGHT NOW. Well done, my dear. thanks for the share!!

    • You are welcome! I know it’s expensive, but it really does last a long time. I’ve had the same bottle for 4 months now.

  • WOW, Tracy, that’s really impressive! I always wonder if these things actually work, and looks like this one definitely does. Your skin looks beautiful!

  • omg just take my money

  • yea. what jenn (theprocrastinator) said.
    *hands over wallet to sephora*

  • Eeeek it’s not paraben-free *sobs* But it sounds amazing! And yeah, men need the help too! I got sunspots that I want to get rid of, as well. The Shiseido White Lucent serum is the best I’ve tried so far, but it’s $120!!! Lasts a long time, but shit, lol. This is cheaper! But WHY NOT P-FREE, AMORE PACIFIC, HUH???

  • Oh my goodness you look great! You can totally see the results! I don’t think I have enough damage to warrant the price right now, but I am gonna point my momma in this direction. I do love Amore!

  • dowantmakeup

Uwaaa I keep hearing about this product but haven’t been able to bite the bullet yet. $72!!!

A picture is worth a thousand words haha. Yours is probably the before/after that launched a thousand credit cards LOL

  • Glad you’re loving this so much! Always so ultra satisfying and exciting when you experience such visible results. Will definitely have to check this out 🙂

  • Ahhh this is craaaazy good! Your before and after is mind-blowing!!!

  • Yippeee! I’m so glad the peel is working so well for you! I’ve never actually paid the big $$$ for it though since I always get it when it’s a 100-pt perk at Sephora 😛

    • Ahhh! Wish I’d gotten samples! But I’m so glad you told me to get it lovely! It’s the best!

  • Don’t you just love it when products WORK and you can say “Damn that stuff is making a visible difference”. I haven’t had many that give me amazing results so that short list stays very short. When it comes down to it, that’s where your budget goes. I hope the Filorga sleep recover ends up on yours 😉

    • So far only a handful of products have done that, hey? We should do a post on that my friend! it’s a short list for me as well and YES. The Filorga is on on it thanks to you! Forever grateful I am!

  • Liz

Daaaaaang, that’s good stuff. $72 is actually not bad for this brand – I was expecting it to be over $100. I’m sold!

    • I think it’s jot bad of a price either, but that’s me LOL. It lasts forever. I’m still on my first bottle I bought in October! I hope you get it! It’s so good!

  • Wow the results are pretty amazing! It’s not often that you really see significant changes from skincare, but this looks fantastic!

    • Right? This is pretty much the first product I can say that has really made a huge difference.

  • Wow, it does seem to be working! And the difference is really noticeable. I am surprised you got your husband to try it. Mine is very resistant in using any kind of skincare, lol!

Oh, and I love your red hair! So cute!

    • Mine will usually try anything I give him haha-whether he REMEMBERS to use it is another story haha!

Awww, thanks-it got redder after that-like bright copper!

  • telle

wooooo! ima pick this up next pay day! 🙂 thanks for the share, Tracy 🙂

  • WOW your skin looks amazing! That is incredible, I can really see the texture of your skin has improved! Thank you for such a great review and the comparison pictures! This is going on my wish list, I struggle a lot with hyper-pigmentation – this might be my saviour! How exciting! 🙂 xx

  • Holy $#!+3@11z!!! Wow! The proof is in the proverbial pudding. This is going on my wish list right now. Damn!

  • Pingback: Menopause Mondays: Shaving My Furry Face With Tinkle Eyebrow Razor()

  • Just ordered this! After this post, how could I not, especially when I had a Sephora gift card burning a hole in my pocket from Christmas?! YAY! Thanks for this review, girlfriend!

  • brandee

Okay- not digging the price but your skin looks AMAZING. I broke down yesterday and ordered it from Sephora. Have you tried the Amorepacific Rejuvenating Eye Treatment Gel? I had a sample but hadn’t used it because it’s scented (turns out it fades quickly) until I read this review and then figured, “what the heck? I’ll give it a go.” Divine! The hydration is incredible, and I’ve used some good eye creams. So glad I found you through Sunny’s site. 🙂

    • Yay!! You will love it! No! I haven’t tried the eye gel-yet! LOL! It sounds fantastic! I’ll have to put it on my list for sure-thanks!
I’m glad too! Sunny and I are good friends-we’re chocolate buddies! 😉

  • It’s actually cheaper than other comparable products-and it lasts forever. Like I said, I’m still on my bottle from October! Well worth the money!
