I have a no backups rule. I’m a jaded beauty junkie and don’t believe in that business anymore. There’s always something new coming out in makeup land that will undoubtedly be better than something I covet, so why bother? Right? Plus I have Makeup ADD. I get bored easily. 😛
But this palette? Is seriously making me reconsider my no backup rule.
Stila Field of Florals Convertible Color Dual Lip and Cheek Palette
Stila Field of Florals Convertible Color Dual Lip and Cheek Palette($64) has rekindled my love for these cream blushes! I forgot how lovely they look on the cheek. They leave the prettiest, dewy flush that makes you look well rested, healthy, pretty-and YOUNGER looking too.
Swatchy time! I swatched them going down the rows from top to bottom-it was just easier that way.
Starting on the left, swatching down:
I’ve been using Stila Field of Florals Convertible Color Dual Lip and Cheek Palette pretty much every day since I got it. The pans are a tad small, but my Real Techniques Stippling Brush seems to almost fit in them. Sometimes I’ll put a swatch on my hand and then coat my brush with that. I love how I can mix and match and make my own blush shade if I’m feeling extra adventurous 😀 They’re creamy, so they don’t settle in my cheeky smile wrinkles which is a big bonus. They last well on me too, which is surprising for something so creamy. You could always set them with a powder blush if you do need them to last longer and that works well. I don’t like doing that because it takes away from that dewy look I’m loving right now.
The Stila Field of Florals Convertible Color Dual Lip and Cheek Palette can be used on the lips too, but eh-I don’t bother with that. I have too many lipsticks I really love right now, plus why waste these on my lips? Cheeks only baby!
The Stila Field of Florals Convertible Color Dual Lip and Cheek Palette is Limited Edition, so if you’re interested in it I say scoop one up soon!
