Mascara ads are the WORST, right? RIGHT. Makes me so angry, and I have good lashes so with those of you that don’t, I can only imagine the distrust you must experience seeing these kinds of ads. We all know that Katy HAS to be wearing false lashes in the ad. Like DUH. I mean look at the feathery fullness she has going on. Hardly anybody is BORN WITH IT MAYBELLINE.

So! New CoverGirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara apparently has a petal-shaped folded brush with two separate bristle lengths to align and coat every lashes evenly for full separated lashes.

You can see the different bristle lengths.

And here. But Petal? I don’t see it? Do you? Maybe? Another angle?

The bristles are pretty spiky and grab every lash really well, with some pain btw. NO PAIN, NO LASH GAIN I guess! What’s different about CoverGirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara is that it has a mousse formula and the bristles flex, so that means you get lotsa’ volume with soft lashes. No stiff, crispy lashes with this one!

Like most CoverGirl mascaras, I find the formula of CoverGirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara really bulidable with no clumping. You really have that smooth formula down pat CoverGirl, hey? You can keep piling on their mascaras with no fear of clumping. And I like that.

CoverGirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara kind of DOES give you lashes that look like they bloom and grow like soft pretty petals all in a row, hey? OK. I get it now. I get the tagline hahaha. BUT it takes lotsa layers that’s for sure. This is not a one-coat WOW I GOT LASHES kinda’ mascara. It takes time. And effort. Even for me. It’s a lot like Clump Crusher to be honest? Just all pink instead of green.

It’s nice though! And worth a shot if CoverGirl Mascaras work for you! They work decently for me, but I can get loads more length and volume from other mascaras to be honest. Still, it stays put! Doesn’t flake or smudge! So a pretty good deal on sale at the drugstore and worth a pick-up in my opinion.

Have you tried CoverGirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara yet? What’s your favourite Drugstore Mascara brand? Mine would be CoverGirl! Their mascaras are always solid. But honestly, I wonder…is this just the Clump Crusher Formula in a pink container? I think maybe yes…

*product received because I’m a proud Beauty United Blogger, damn straight. And all these words? Are mine. Like they have time to tell me what to write. It’s P&G people. And like I’d even listen HA if they tried. Can’t buy me with a tube of mascara…it takes maybe THREE tubes LOL. 😛  AHAHAHAHAHA…ahem. 😀

  • Your lashes can seriously be used for advertising! Every mascara you use looks wowsers!! I don’t ever look at mascara ads, and it’s bloggers I turn to the most when considering mascara.

  • the results look really good but i hear ya, about the building it on. for some of my lengthening mascaras you have to keep swiping until you get that sort of build which is nice i guess…that it delivers eventually.

    • Yeah, this one is like that! But I like it! I think most CoverGirl mascaras are like that.

  • Just judging from the before and after I’d say this is one HELL of a fabulous mascara! Too bad it takes a but of time and effort to get it to look like that.

  • You know what, I am beginning to think I should stop reading your mascara reviews, because EVERY SINGLE ONE of them looks SO great on you!!! I mean seriously, your lashes can just about touch your brow bones!

  • Nope, haven’t even seen this one! GAH– I am so jelly of people with long lashes. Mine are super straight and skimpy that even multiple coats just don’t do me nothing 🙁

  • Love the effect this gives, but I’m in the same boat- I really don’t need all that effort! And yeah, mascara ads are pretty ridiculous!

I finally found a couple that works for me. If this one took you time to build, it’s going to take an eternity for me, lol. Pass!

  • I agree that CoverGirl mascaras come with solid formula. I’ve always preferred L’Oreal mascaras, though. That’s probably because I don’t usually like any mascara with a teeth-brush(?), and CoverGirl is kind of big on it.
I’ve said this before, but you have such beautiful lashes. It would be difficult to believe you even if you said the mascara sucked, once we see it on your lashes! 🙂

    • Yeah they have that plastic teeth brush in pretty much every one of their mascaras.
Thanks haha! I know, but that means I can REALLY tell if it sucks ya’know?

  • I can’t even believe it’s taken me so long to ask you this, but what exactly is your magic camera equipment???

Off to check your FAQ 😛

    • Hahaha I don’t think I have it written there! I use just a Canon T3i Rebel. That’s it. I want a new camera though, it’s so big and cumbersome.

      • I need to up my camera game. What are you thinking of buying next?

      • Sony A5000 20.1 MP DSLR Compact Interchangeable Lens Camera I think. It’s at Costco. I think I’ll get it next week actually.

      • Ooooh! I’m wondering how the video quality is on that — it looks so light! Can’t wait to hear what you think of it

  • OMG your lashes….Tracy your lashes could be used in cosmetics ads and I would BUY all of the things! And yes, you’re totally right – mascara ads really annoy me when you can see the model is rocking 1-2 pairs of falsies. COME ON GUYS. If the product rocks, show us the product rocking! I’m not usually a huge fan of rubber bristles, but have had success in the past with the Clump Crusher and Lash Blast Length, so maybe I should give this a go!

  • Lily

OMG!!! Look at those lashes! I agree with Kristen. You can be a lash model or something 🙂
Cover Girl pulled out and we don’t get them here anymore. Sad really. I hope they’ll come back

  • Minako Aino

This may be a dumb question, but you know how the wand is sold separate
from the tube? Can you keep the wand inside the tube after you’ve
opened it or are you supposed to keep the tube and wand separate? I was
thinking of getting this for someone but seeing it packaged like that
made me think it’s not a good idea if it’s not going to be in one piece.
