Pureology Strength Cure Restorative Mask and L’Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil Masque

As you know, I’m all about hair masks. If I can use a hair mask instead of a conditioner that’s what I’ll do. If I’m going to be in the shower for longer than 3 minutes, then I say why not treat my hair every time, right? Right! And 3 minutes is about as long as it takes me to shower truth be told. I’m FAST.

I’ve got two AMAZING hair masks that you need to check out. Or, even if you just like to treat your hair weekly to some deep conditioning then I’m telling ya’ll-THESE two are what you should be using.

L’Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil Masque is fast and furious. Like me. 😛

L’Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil Masque

If you’ve only got 3 minutes to spend in the shower but you want the softest, silkiest hair you’ve ever felt, then L’Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil Masque(there’s that french spelling of mask again I LOVE) is your hair mask baby! I take fast showers-in and out BOOM. DONE. I hate lingering in there and wasting water. NOPE.  So, L’Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil Masque is made for people like me! It’s for all hair types so everyone can benefit from using this hair mask. With a nice blend of oils including Argan oil, Avocado Oil, and Grapeseed oil to nourish dry ends, it’ll leave your hair super shiny and super soft. It smells REALLY good too. Musky vanilla and shea scent I think? I love it. It never weighs my hair down and is pretty much perfection for me! It’ll be perfect for protecting your hair in the winter I think. L’Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil Masque is another favourite hair mask of mine and one I’ll always keep around. I have a few others as you know. 😛  What can I say- I like variety ok? :D:D

Pureology Strength Cure Restorative Mask is an intense fortifying masque for micro-scarred, damaged colour-treated hair.

Pureology Strength Cure Restorative Mask

I passed this one along to Marky, and she LOVES it. If you have really long hair like she does, then girl you need to get Pureology Strength Cure Restorative Mask. Marky was complaining that her hair was everywhere. Her dorm mates were finding her hair all over the place-uggh. So, I gave her Pureology Strength Cure Restorative Mask and WOW. What a difference she says! This mask boosts strength and reduces breakage which is what she was suffering from. It’s really creamy and smells faintly of almonds. It repairs and strengthens hair, protects colour, and leaves it soft and smooth and shiny! Pureology Strength Cure Restorative Mask sinks in right where you need it, making hair stronger every time you use it. Nobody is complaining about finding Marky’s hair in the dorms now hahaha! She feels guilty about wanting to repurchase another one, but I told her NO WORRIES. If your hair loves it, then it’s worth getting again, right? Pureology Strength Cure Restorative Mask is pricey that’s for sure, but if you suffer from breakage like my daughter, then this is money well spent-just like I told her. Sometimes we need to spend some $$$ to get some great hair results! That’s life!

Yup! I amp up my hair masks come cold weather, do you? I feel the need to protect my hair more once the cold weather sets in, so masks are my hair’s best friend. Are you the same way?

  • I keep meaning to try that L’Oreal one – I think Laura really liked it, too. I take fast showers, too, although I like them really hot, even though I know that’s bad for my skin. What can I say? T_T

    • It’s a great mask and you must try it! Smells good, makes hair really soft!
LOL, hot showers make me sweaty lol!

I should smell the L’Oreal one when I’m in the store next. Sometimes their scents are just too much for my nose to handle, hahaha. I also think more masques should come in a tube. Those tubs take up far too much room in my shower, not to mention that their more solid nature makes it hurt worse when they fall down and land on my foot! Which is inevitable, by the way, being the klutz that I am.

  • I love hair masks!!! I haven’t tried that specific L’Oreal one but if it’s anything like their Advanced Hair Care Mask, OMG. I will be getting that this weekend fo sho.

  • I pretty much only use hair masks instead of conditioners, because conditioners just aren’t strong enough for my thick hair! My hair is much less damaged now after I chopped some off, so I pretty much shampoo, put a mask on it, and then call it a day! I used to need 5 products to keep the ends from looking completely dead. I don’t know why I didn’t get that trim earlier (OK, I know. Going to a new hairdresser is ALWAYS a scary thing)!

    • Marky just chopped off about 3 inches of her ends too-it is scary hahaha! Masks are the only way to go I say!

  • Lily

You’re making me curious of all these hair masks! My hair care is absolutely minimal, and I think I need to get into some products… when I figure out what to do. LOL!

  • I don’t really notice any change in my hair when the seasons change to be honest. But I try to take good care of it all year round.

  • I’m so jealous of all the european-flavoured skin/hair care products you guys get up there. And to think it is a global brand and we ‘re so close to each other! I’m going to look if we have them too, but I’m pretty sure we won’t.
    They sound really awesome. *sigh*

    • Awww, hahaha I know you have the Pureology one for sure, as I saw it in Ulta in California. I hope you can find the Mythic Oil one-it’s so nice!

  • Liz

I’m not really into hair masks but they do feel great once in a while! I’m curious to try the Mythic Oil one. 🙂

  • My showers are always pretty quick too and that’s why I never have time to put a hair mask on. But 3 minutes? I have 3 minutes. That Loreal mask sounds really good. My favorite one (when I do force myself to put it on) is Redken Intense Renewal, have you ever tried it?

    • Yes, give it a try! I think you’ll like it! Nope I haven’t-but it’s on my list now! Thank you!

  • You can get them at Chatter’s Salons out west? Or Trade Secrets out East I think!
