Kevin Murphy Hydrate-Me and Angel Masques

I’m pretty sure Kevin.Murphy Hair products can do no wrong. And I know, they aren’t cheap. But, what would totally be worth the cost in my opinion is one of these two products, the Kevin Murphy Hydrate-Me and Angel Masques. Get one of them. A really great hair mask can make ALL the difference to your hair. And these two? Will do just that.

Another reason I love Kevin.Murphy products is that there is SO MUCH SCIENCE behind their products. The ingredients they use are incredible, and unlike any other hair care products I’ve used. So, ready for some SCIENCEY TIME? Let me tell you about the Kevin Murphy Hydrate-Me and Angel Masques!

Kevin.Murphy Hydrate-Me Masque is a repairing and smoothing masque(MAN I LOVE THAT SPELLING) and has ingredients that you’d normally find in skincare. There’s Rose Hip which is a powerful antioxidant and is also a great moisturizer too. My face and Rose Hip Oil don’t get along all that well(too moisturizing and makes me break out), but BOY my hair loves it! And then there’s Evening Primrose Oil which contains phospholipids that are hydrophilic- that means they are moisture loving and are attracted to water. They suck the moisture from the air around you and draw it onto the hair hydrating and softening it. Kakadu Plum is found in Australia, and it has the highest concentration of natural Vitamin C of any known plant. Did you know that Vitamin C stimulates production of Elastin and Collagen to help maintain hair’s lustre and elasticity? That’s why it’s in Kevin Murphy Hydrate-Me Masque! And I’m not done yet haha! There’s more! Seaweed Extract is in it to help hydrate your scalp. Shea Butter too! And my favourite scent Bergamot Oil is in there not only making it smell divine, but also providing your hair with loads of vitamins. The neat thing about the Kevin Murphy Hydrate-Me Masque is that it has these vitamin-charged grains in it. It feels weird when you start massaging it in-gritty. But those little capsules burst open to load up your hair with all the good stuff it needs to repair, smooth, and hydrate. I love this mask and use it daily. It’s getting low though, but I plan on replacing it for sure!

Kevin.Murphy Angel.Masque is a repairing and thickening conditioning treatment for fine, dry or coloured hair. This one is great if you’re suffering from breakage. It’ll strengthen your hair and actually promote hair growth too. The fascinating ingredient in this masque, is Biotinoyl Tripeptide –1. Tripeptides readily attach to the hair cuticle after washing and bonds with chemically treated hair to repair some of the damage caused by treatments. They bond more wherever damage is greater-the greater the damage, the greater the binding -but without any build-up. And they’ll help to close split ends, and swell the hair shaft to give the impression of thicker hair. Neat, huh? But that’s not all! There’s Bamboo Extract that will help prevent damage. And Hydrolysed Quinoa Protein, which is one of the best sources of protein and Amino Acids to help repair deep into the hair. Lotus Flower Extracts not only makes the Kevin Murphy Angel.Masque smell incredible, but they regenerate, heal, purify, rebalance and refine hair texture. How? Well, Lotus Flower essential oil has been shown to stimulate melanin synthesis and enzyme activity. Since all enzymes are proteins and the hair is made up of 90% protein, Lotus Flower extract will help repair and rebuild the hair’s surface.

If you’ve always wanted to try Kevin.Murphy, I promise you that Kevin Murphy Hydrate-Me and Angel Masques are a great place to start. You won’t be disappointed! Your hair will not only look good, but smell SO good too. Kevin.Murphy is sold at salons around the country. Just check here for one near you!

Do you hair masque daily like I do? MASQUE. I’m forever spelling it like that now. 😀

*products sent by PR for review, thoughts are mine as always!

  • ahahahah i get SO excited when I can type masque instead of mask. It’s inexplicable but SO SO good.

  • Haha masque 😉

I use a mask every time I shampoo my hair, because a conditioner usually can’t get the job done. That lotus flower extract sounds so good, I don’t even care if it actually does anything LOL

  • I’ve used the Hydrate Me shampoo and conditioner before, and it was great during a phase when I swam at the pool a lot and my hair was like straw!

    • Great! I’m glad it helped! If I could afford this stuff all the time, I’d only use it!

  • First of all the product packaging alone makes me want to buy it haha. I usually put coconut oil in my hair.

  • They sounds amazing! I just check their website for locations. There is actually a very close one . I don’t use hair mask often but I’d be interested in trying shampoo/conditioner for sure. 🙂

  • Lily

My hair is fine and straight, and because I don’t perm or colour it often, I’m lucky the ends are very healthy. Just too bad about the oily scalp. I don’t usually ‘masque’ my hair though. I just use a leave in treatment 🙂

    • Oh, which one?

      • Lily

I’m still using the Matrix Biolage Moringa Oil. I think so far, that’s the only leave in treatment I tried that doesn’t weigh down my hair. I’ve heard lots about Living Proof PHD too, but it’s not available here. I’m trying to find a site that delivers internationally 🙂

      • Marky used to really like the Living Proof PHD! I wonder if I still have some? I will check for you!

  • Whahah yeah, french spelling makes everything sound so much more classy, lol 🙂 Right now I’m not using any masks, just conditioner.

  • Ooh, I’ve been tempted by this brand forever! My hair gets dry, especially in winter, so you’re definitely piquing my interest 🙂

  • When you say this one aloud, do you say “mas-kwah”? I certainly do! Both of these sound semi-amazing, especially the one for fine wussy hair like mine! Thank you for the SCIENCY TIME!

  • Liz

Well, a masque is technically a 16th century ball, but I’d like both please. 😀
