Dior Golden Shock Holiday 2014 Dior Addict Gloss Gold Rain and Pink Excess

Short post today! I’m still trying to get my blogging butt in gear after visiting Marky at college. And I have a bunch of pictures to take of holiday products that arrived while I was away. I’m going to be pretty busy playing catch-up! But the short visit was so worth it!

I did want to show you the two Dior Golden Shock Holiday 2014 Dior Addict Glosses Gold Rain and Pink Excess so I can declare Dior Holiday done and DONE.

Dior Golden Shock Holiday 2014 Dior Addict Gloss in #663 Pink Excess is a rosy pink with gold glitter, and #164 Gold Rain is described as a mineral gold gloss. It’s a milky, pale pink gold gloss with gold glitter. Boy, there’s a lot of gold glitter in this Dior Holiday collection.

Swatchy Time!

On my lips Dior Addict Gloss Pink Excess is a pretty, neutral rosy gloss. It’s a really easy to wear shade that will suit most skin tones.

Dior Addict Gloss Gold Rain is one of those really super pretty, ethereal glosses that you either love or don’t. I really like it for some reason! It’s like fairy dust on your lips. Or maybe Christmas elf dust since it is a holiday collection? Elf Magic? Give it up Tracy, they get it even if you don’t... šŸ˜›

To be honest, these are my first Dior Addict Glosses EVER and I do like them. They are smooth, not sticky, feel really nice on the lips too. Pretty luxurious actually. But they don’t last long, maybe an hour or so before having to reapply them. If that doesn’t bother you, and the price tag of $31 doesn’t either, then I do think it’s worth picking up one of these! I think Gold Rain would be stunning over red lipsticks.

You can find the Dior Golden Shock Holiday 2014 Dior Addict Gloss Gold Rain and Pink Excess at your Dior counters right about now!

Do you love Dior Glosses? Are you a Dior Addict haha? I can see why they named their products that name now… they are addictive! šŸ˜€

  • Hey Tracy, glad to hear you had fun with Marky!

Told ya the texture is great! Dior glosses normally last longer on me than an hour though. By now, I own several clear glosses with gold glitter (and I never wear them), but Pink Excess is pretty!

    • Thanks Sunny! We did!

You were right! My lips are so dry, they suck in glosses like they’ve never seen a lip blame before hahaha!

  • YES I is Dior Addict. That pink one is pretty, but the GOLD. I like that kind of gloss for “neutral” ish looks…so sparkly *_*

  • I like Dior Addict Gloss! For the rather slippery texture, I think it is wise to pick up something natural like these. The Pink Excess is so pretty. <3

    • Yeah, if it’s something you like, then I say go for it! Me, I’d rather spend $31 on a blush LOL!

  • Gold Rain! *Drools* I love that both have that gorgeous gold shimmer- perfect for holiday looks. šŸ™‚

  • Liz

Dior glosses are super pretty but I hate brush applicators that splay after a while. My OCD can’t take it, no matter how gorgeous the rest of the packaging is. >__<

  • Dior glosses are a great formula! Both of these look really pretty, might get one of them if I don’t have anything similar.

  • The gold reminds me of beige guitarre glossimer from chanel — one of tod’s favourites which I think has been discontinued. Maybe for Xmas this year I’ll try this as a dupe!

  • Lily

Dior glosses are my favourite, and I don’t even like glosses. Both these look great, but I prefer Pink Excess šŸ™‚

  • Gold Rain is expensive for what it is imo. But Pink Excess is pretty!

    • Personally, Gloss is something I really wouldn’t spend $31 on. I mean, that’s getting into my blush fund hahaha!

  • Woo hoo for fairy dust lip glosses! šŸ˜€ I hope your trip to visit Marky went well, Tracy <3

  • Toya

I only have one Dior gloss, and I quite like it – the texture is just perfect, a bit thicker, not too slippy but not sticky either. I want to swatch these because I like both shades, but there are so many other items on my wish list (and I’m trying to be reasonable!) that I probably won’t go for either in the end…pretty, but unoriginal!

  • Ooh hello Gold Rain over red lipstick INDEED! That would look fabulous. Elf dust! Love it! I’m so glad you got to visit Marky! <3

    • Right? It’d be really pretty I think!
It was good to see her, and FEED her lol! She looks skinnier.

  • Well, glosses are really liquid looking haha!
