Shu Uemura Satin Radiant Sticks From The Brave Beauty Collection

Cream Blush and me are BFFs. Ever since the MUFE HD Cream blushes entered my life, I barely use a powder blush. It’s the truth. I love those blushes and forget the 99 others I have in my stash. Cross my makeup-loving-blush-fiend-heart. And P.S.S: YOU NEED ONE OF THOSE IN YOUR LIFE, right Larie? 😛

Here’s a snippet of my inner makeup junkie dialogue every morning, in case you’ve ever wondered. Truth be told, it’s probably EXACTLY what you thought it would be. Here’s what a crazy blush fiend hears in their mind every am. I know you’ve always wondered and let me warn you: IT’S GRAPHIC.

“What blush shall we wear today Tracy?”

“Oh, I don’t know. Something easy? Something that blends like a dream? Lasts all day? LOOKS PRETTY on them cheeks of mine? “

“Oh, you mean the MUFE HD Cream blushes then. Take THIS one. (I have 4, so one of them usually ends up on my cheeks)

Yup. That’s it. That’s what I go through every morning. I know, it’s all-consuming, right? 😛

BUT NOT ANYMORE. I have a new cream blush love!

THESE. These Shu Uemura Satin Radiant Sticks from The Brave Beauty Collection. They are beautiful!

Screw NARS Multiples. They suck compared to these!

There’s some really fine glitter in the Shu Uemura Satin Radiant Sticks to warn you, but do not be afraid. Those glitters just become awesome, glowiness on your cheeks I swear. I hate glitter as you know, but I LOVE  glow.

See the glow? I hope so! I’m wearing both Light Pink and Pink Shu Uemura Satin Radiant Sticks. They blend so easily and last all day. And they just melt into the skin giving a seamless glow. Like for reals. All day long my cheeks glowed like this! I rubbed my Real Techniques Stipple Brush on the Shu Uemura Sticks(yeah, that bit of sentence is all kinds of wrong right there) and then applied them, and it worked like a dream! Actually, that RT Stipple Brush is probably my favourite cream cheek brush for application right now. I use it all the time and have forgotten about my Sonia Kashuk one!

Yup. I never tire of the cheek products. Never. I could live without eyeshadow, mascara-even foundation. But Blush. HUSH YOUR LIPS. And I know, I only have 2 cheeks to wear them all. BUT I DON’T CARE.

What’s the one makeup product YOU can’t live without?

*products sent by the lovely PR for review, crazy blush fiend thoughts are MINE as always. Which just proves once a blush fiend, ALWAYS a blush fiend. Yup. To the grave dudes.

  • HAHAHA you know, we have two cheeks. We could wear two different colors of blush…LOL. New levels of crazy every day, brought to you by Larie.

  • Wow, look at that glow! Personally, I might need something less glowy since my cheeks do get a bit of a shine at the end of the day, but I love it on you! I didn’t even know Shu does blush sticks!

  • I thought these were lipsticks. So so pretty, and the Light Pink is definitely much prettier than NARS Copacabana, for example.
    You glow so prettily! LOVE

  • Liz

I swatched these over the weekend and they’re really pretty in that sheer and glowy way! But I’m passing and hoping to pick up another Becca shimmering pot thing instead.

  • Ha ha! Hush your lips!! That’s how I feel about a life without blush. My friend of 20 years told me recently that before I gifted her with a blush, she had zero. ZERO BLUSHES. I’m not even sure if that’s as astonishing as the fact that now she’s functioning with ONE BLUSH. It makes me feel very anxious for her. Anywho, LOVE the glowy beautifulness of these 2 sticks of joy on your facial area! GORGEOUS.

    • LOL you know, I used to have only one blush too! I don’t know what happened hahaha!
      Thanks love!

  • Such glowy prettiness! Looks better than the Nars ones. Blusher is also my weakness, and to my horror I completely forgot to apply it a few days ago. Felt both dead and naked the whole day.

  • Lily

That pink is so sweet! The whole look is glowy and healthy. I’m being good though. I see so many things I want, but I’ve resisted! 😛

  • That pink is so pretty! I love that it’s indeed glowy but not shimmery or glittery, gorgeous!

  • That is very glowy and pretty! I’m jealous of your cheekbone structure 🙂

  • Allison @neversaydiebeauty

I’ve been so coveting the packaging on that gorgeous collection from Shu Uemura! And like you, I prefer cream blush. The shades you chose look lovely

  • GORGEOUS glow, Tracy! OMG such a healthy glow. 🙂

  • Oh my god, these are so pretty. I’m not usually one for glowy blushes, but you make these look amazing!

*ambles off in a daze to go swatch them*

  • Toya

Those are pretty glorious! I do love cream blush, but I find that the shade range doesn’t always GET me, you know? They need to start making more crazy colours in cream formulas…THEN I would be a goner for sure. That’s the only reason I haven’t bought more of the MUFE HD Blushes – I just feel like the shades on my darker skin for the most part would all look so similar :'(

    • NO, those MUFE ones are HG for me! You need to check them out more dude!!! GET THE CORAL #410. SERIOUS.
