Beauty Products Currently in My Online Shopping Basket

I’m bored. And my eyes, or LEFT eye to be specific is bugging me. I played with some eye shadows the other day, and now I’m paying for it. And when I’m bored and my eye hurts, I tend to internet window shop. You know, fill up my basket with things I’ve been wanting to try, but I just don’t hit CLICK. Not yet at least! smiley These are some of the things in my basket at the moment.

Tarte – Rainforest After Dark Colored Clay Eye & Cheek Palette

Tarte - Rainforest After Dark Colored Clay Eye & Cheek Palette

Tarte is one of those brands I really USED to love, especially their blushes! I haven’t bought much from the brand lately to be honest, but this limited edition colored clay eye and cheek palette with a bronzer, a highlighter, a blush, and six eye shadows keeps popping up on EVERY blog, so call me intrigued to say the least. Most beauty bloggers seem to enjoy it, so I’ll be swatching it at Sephora.  Something like this I need to swatch before I buy. It’s never in freakin’ stock though! But it sure looks like a great travel palette, hey? And who’s going on a long road trip in a couple of weeks here? THIS GIRL. And that dusty rose blush looks really lovely!

MARC JACOBS BEAUTY Kiss Pop Lip Color Stick

s1613140-main-heroI only own ONE thing from Marc Jacobs Beauty. But these new chubby little lip things also intrigue me for some reason. Supposedly they’re highly-pigmented and long-wearing, so I’m all up for trying one, especially a berry like this one called Berry Sangria. It looks like a great fall shade, hey? Yeah that’s right, I’m in fall makeup shopping mode now! And I haven’t found a berry lipstick that looks good on me. Like ever. Maybe this one will!MARC JACOBS BEAUTY Kiss Pop Lip Color Stick($35)

CAUDALIE Vinosource Overnight Recovery Oil

CAUDALIE Vinosource Overnight Recovery Oil

Another product that I’ve seen reviewed on some of my favourite blogs like Mostly Sunny that I have my eye on. It has a blend of six 100 percent natural plant and essential oils and soothes sensitive skin prone to redness or irritation, and repairs the skin’s barrier. Hello, made for me facial oil or what? Definitely planning on picking up a sample to test out soon!

 Tom Ford Velvet Orchid

s1632777-main-hero

I adore Black Orchid, but I will admit that it’s not for everyone. It’s a fragrance that needs some getting used to. But this? Sounds like a gentler version of Black Orchid so I need to smell it! With notes of cool citrus, dramatic petals(whatever the heck that is Tom Ford), honey, and rum it sounds like another rich, spicy, and intense floral form Tom Ford that I’m gonna like! I mean RUM. In a fragrance. I’m pretty sure I was a pirate in a past life…

Origins Smarty Plants CC SPF 20 Skin Complexion Corrector

Origins Smarty Plants CC SPF 20 Skin Complexion Corrector

I really, REALLY want to order this Origins Smarty Plants CC SPF 20 Skin Complexion Corrector! It’s actually in my HBC(The Bay) basket and Sephora one too. DOUBLE BASKET. I had a sample and just loved it. Light coverage, but just evened out my skin tone enough. And it felt so darn good on! I really want it, but I have so, so many foundations and alphabet creams that I really can’t justify getting it right now. But SOON. Soon you shall be mine…. winkMaybe even sooner, because The Bay has $10 off a beauty purchase of $75 or more. But that means filling up my basket with something else! Like it’s so hard to do. 😀

Origins Smarty Plants CC SPF 20 Skin Complexion Corrector-$45 and also here at The Bay too.

So much beauty products, so little time! Story of my makeup addicted life I tell ya. Now to just figure out what irritates my eyes! I can’t figure out for the life of me what it is. It has to be an ingredient in shadows or mascara or liner that I’m allergic to, because my itches like a MOFO after and is blurry for a couple of days. It’s like the worst nightmare a beauty blogger can have I tell ya.

What’s in YOUR online beauty baskets at the moment?

  • Aww thanks for the shout-out, Tracy! I hope you’ll like it as much as I do!

I’m actually eyeing one of the new Cle de Peau quads that I saw on The Beauty Look Book yesterday. Got to remember to check it out when I’m in Taipei later this year!

  • ShoppingObsession

I have the Tarte palette in my shopping cart at Sephora too. Such a pretty palette and I have tried several stores but can’t seem to find it in stores, which make it even more tempting to get online.

  • Hahaha, I love the “what’s in my basket” post! However, I might be too embarrassed to do one. Because my basket is *always* full. And *always* changing XD That Tarte packaging….I could use a snake in my eyeshadow palette drawer.

  • Efrain

Right now I’m relieved that we don’t have many online shopping places in Mexico (well, we have some but they aren’t as easy to use as the ones you have), and I’m so tempted sometimes to buy from US or other countries but I don’t want to pay shipping, that’s why I haven’t bought many things (well also the lack of money).

  • Liz

I always have a crazy online basket… then I just click the browser shut and end up buying at the stores anyway. Ugh. Do you have Tarte Exposed? The blush in that palette looks virtually the same to me.

    • I think it’s lighter than Exposed actually. I had that one, but I think I got rid of it in a blog sale! It was too ordinary for me LOL!

      • Liz

I have a post coming up about it and I’ve captioned it “boringest blush in the world.” LOL

  • EVERYTHING IS IN MY BASKET. Hahaha. Seriously, though, I want that Boscia hydrating essence, another YSL Kiss and Blush, and some Shiseido trios. :X

  • Oh noos on the eye front! Jason’s mom used to wear shadows 24-7 but stopped cold-turkey b/c she couldn’t find one that didn’t cause the exact issues you’re outlining herein. :/ She still rocks black liner without problems, though. I have faith that you will find the specific culprit, kick it i the rear, and find multitudes of shadows that do not contain the evil ingredient. Don’t give up, mane! 😉 Smarty Plants is one of the cutest names I’ve ever heard. I love it. Chips Ahoy! is up there for me, too. I mean, that is clever. Anywho, I too fail at berry lip products. Never found one I liked on me! Every one I’ve tried mixes with the red in my lips and comes out looking like some sort of color used primarily on hero walkers from TWD. I have high hopes this MJ number will be the flattering plumapalooza you’ve been searching for! Cannot wait to hear more about your road trip!! How many hours does it take to drive from Edmonton to Cali?! Are y’all driving there and back? HOLLA! Love you, ladybird! <3

  • Sorry about your itchy eyes 🙁 Boo! Love what is in your basket. Mine has a bunch of stuff for London that I haven’t pulled the trigger on yet. Waiting for that paycheck! ay ay ay

    • Diriving me NUTS Margo! I can’t for the life of me figure out what does it.
I am SO JEALOUS of your upcoming trip and school!

  • OOOH that Marc Jacobs lippie is so pretty!!! Currently, I have loads of skincare stuffs in my cart(s). Wish I had all the monies to get them all!

  • Agreed on all the things!! Especially the Tarte palette! I’ve never tried anything of theirs, and it seems like they’ve been putting out great things recently.

    • I know! But DUDE. I really need it like I need another hole in the head. And yes, I said another hahahaha!

  • Ah, I have the Marc Jacobs Dreamer palette in my basket. I accidentally swatched it in stores and now I’m doomed…oh and the nars duo in kalahari. Next time I’m there I’m going to swatch the Dior Rosy Glow blush (you’ve sent me on my path to search for non-muddiness and now I must swatch all bright cool-toned blushes). Such is life 🙂

    • LOL hahahaha! That Dior Rosy Glow is one of my FAVES. But listen! In a couple of weeks I’m going to have a giveaway with Dior products and that blush is included! So maybe wait a bit. 🙂 You might win!

  • Lily

That Tarte palette looks great, Tracy 🙂

  • Can’t argue with any of those picks, Tracy! I’m lusting after that Tarte palette too 🙂

  • Emma Bovary

That Tarte palette – oh goodness and yes, it’s on my wishlist too and I’m happy that it is on yours too!

  • (psst. illasmasqua 25% at The Bay right now. they’re pulling it from the store…buyssss)

  • It is entirely possible that I bought that Tarte palette online…oops! The Caudalie oil sounds amazing!

  • i got a little sample of the caudalie! but haven’t remembered to try it yet lol
