Mary Kay Limited-Edition Honeydew Satin Hands Pampering Set

The Mary Kay Limited-Edition Honeydew Satin Hands Pampering Set comes with three products: Satin Hands Hand Softener, Honeydew Satin Smoothie Hand Scrub, and the Honeydew Satin Hands Hand Cream. In case you just came out from under a rock and have never heard of Mary Kay’s Satin Hands sets, this is what you do to get the softest hands you’ve ever had!
Step 1
Use the Satin Hands Hand Softener to get instant hydration by sealing in moisture, leaving hands protected and prepared for the next step. Your hands will feel smooth, silky and supple. It’s a petroleum-based product and would make a great heavy-duty overnight hand moisturizer actually. It’s unscented too. I think it’s a cool idea to use something like this BEFORE you use the next step, which is the exfoliator.
Step 2
Apply the  Honeydew Satin Hands Satin Smoothie Hand Scrub all over your hands on top if the Satin Hands Hand Softener. It cleanses and exfoliates in one step. It removes dead surface cells while instantly leaving hands feeling soft, smooth, and looking healthier. Don’t scrub too hard though! But honestly, it’s hard to do that because remember, you’ve protected your hands with the Satin Hands Hand Softener before hand! Just rub your hands for a bit, making sure you get your nails and cuticles as well, and then rinse it off! Bazinga! SMOOTH HANDS!
Step 3
Complete your hand pampering experience by applying Satin Hands Honeydew Hand Cream. It’ll moisturize your hands for up to 24 hours. The texture is thick, yet smooth but it absorbs quickly, leaving a protective layer on your hands that lasts through several hand washings. My hands feel soft and smooth all day long, and I wash them a lot. And the honeydew scent is perfection! I can’t get enough of it I tell ya’!

You can order the Mary Kay Limited-Edition Honeydew Satin Hands Pampering Set online at or from your local Mary Kay Rep.

You know, I find summer is just as tough on my hands as winter is. The Mary Kay Limited-Edition Honeydew Satin Hands Pampering Set is perfect to make sure hands stay soft and smooth all summer long.

Do you exfoliate your hands regularly? I’m telling ya’, it makes SUCH a difference. You’ll find that your hand creams will work so much better if you do!

*products sent by the lovely PR for review, thoughts are mine as always! 😀

I find I never have time to devote to my hands. I find I will say’ Oh my hands are dry I need to do something about that, and then I forget about it again until I look at my hands and notice it again. My hands are always dry and I go through hand cream like it’s going out of style, when I find the time to do the Satin Hands (really it only takes 5 minutes), my hands are softer for days.

    • It really only takes a few minutes! Start using it a couple of times a week, and I swear you’ll notice a difference Sara!

  • Hands pampering set? I say yes to that!

I do exfoliate my hands regularly. Most of the time I do it when I scrub my body, or when I use a chemical peel on my face (just rub the rest in and give it a minute). It makes a difference for sure!

    • Now THAT’S a good idea Sunny! Everybody take note of her genius!
And it does, right? SO much better hand cream soakage!(HAHA I don’t think that’s a word)

It’s true – I think because we wash our hands more frequently in the summer. I’m trying to get through a giant tub of NIVEA and use a EOS while on the go. Keep trying to buy a more glamourous hand cream but it’s not happening yet, lol.

  • rachlovespenguins

I’ve got the original set but I don’t use it as often as I could/should. Probably couldn’t do this one though. While I love to eat honeydew (so tasty!) prolonged exposure to the scent becomes not so pleasant. Call me strange, hahaha.
On another note, It-Blue arrived today! No immediate reaction upon application, so far so good. The colour is a tad more subtle than I expected but that does make it a promising candidate for daily wear. And that in turn means that I should actually be able to finish or come close to finishing the tube before it hits do-not-use territory, which would be nice. As long as it makes it through the rest of the day without incident (and probably another trial run tomorrow) I’m declaring it a win.

    • LOL another honeydew scent hater!
YAY!! I hope it stays good! I haven’t had a reaction yet. And yes, it’s more subtle so perfect for wearing every day which is why I like it! I used Covergril Clump Cruser yesterday, and today my eye HURTS and is all plugged up dang it. SIGH. We are such sad makeup junkies LOL.

      • rachlovespenguins

        So sad, lol
I can’t wear Cover Girl either! And that’s super annoying since I love their mascaras. Or should say, used to love. Ugh. What I don’t love is getting a sty, which has happened twice now with CG. I hope your eye gets unplugged and feels better soon!!!

      • Thanks, me too. It’s just one eye too, which makes me even angrier haha. No more CG for this girl haha.

      • rachlovespenguins

No more for me too. It was their concealer that gave me that last super-burning eyes incident, come to think of it. So yeah, nothing CG near my eyes, ever again. Haha

  • My friend’s mom got this for me as a graduation present and I love it! The hand scrub is amazing.

  • HAHAHA secret: honeydew smell is GROSS 😛 Also I think I’m allergic to melon…both cantelope and honeydew make my throat scratchy 😛 But I don’t really love either one so I don’t miss it too much, lol.
