Mark Island Beauty Face Compact- A Gorgeous Glowy Bronzer!

You all know I’m a bronzer fiend. But most of the bronzers I have and love are matte, or slightly satiny in finish as that gives you a more believable bronzed look. But, Mark Island Beauty Face Compact($18) is changing my mind! This bronzer GLOWS baby, and I am loving it!

It has 3 shades-a champagne, a coral, and a bronze that you can use individually. The wavy patterns are a bit small, but you can manage to get the shades individually onto a brush. Or, you can swirl them all together to get the prettiest, glowiest bronzer shade you’ve ever seen on your cheeks!

Swatchy Time!

The texture is something else too. So soft, smooth, and buttery-it feels like a pretty high end bronzer to me. But the glow it gives to your face! Take a look!

I used it more as a blush for this pic, but I did dust a bit on my temples as well. Just a bit, otherwise it can be too much glow. Although, lately I can’t seem to get enough of the glow! I also double dipped into the coral shade and added a bit more of that to the apples of my cheeks. I also used it on my eyes as eyeshadows, and it’s really lovely for that as well. I love when I can use one compact to do my makeup like this! EASY.

You can order the Mark Island Beauty Face Compact from your local Avon Rep, or order it online at www.avon.ca .

Wahoo! Long weekend! Are you going anywhere? Or staying home and gardening? Everyone was out buying plants today except for me hahaha. I haven’t done any gardening in YEARS to be honest. I used to have a huge garden at our old house that I loved. But, then I had my MS attack and couldn’t take care of it very well that year. So when we moved to this house, I just never got back into again for fear of not being able to take care of it very well. But I think I want to do some container gardening this year. A couple of tomatoes, some herbs-I’ve missed it!

Do you prefer matte bronzers? Or one with some glow power?

*product sent by PR for review, thoughts are mine as is my new found love for glowy bronzers!

  • Oooh, that’s pretty! I never know what to do with these trio things that have all kinds of color in one, but the overall effect is pretty!
