Get Ready in Just 5 Minutes With Mary Kay CC Cream and Mary Kay Bronzing Powder

I can get ready to leave the house in 5 minutes these days. Yup. 5 minutes. Wanna know how?

Well, first I use the new Mary Kay CC Cream Complexion Corrector Cream Sunscreen SPF 15($22 CDA):

It combines everything I LOVE about tinted moisturizers and primers, but with amazing skin care benefits and sunscreen protection. I’ve tried quite a few CC Creams, and I have to say that Mary Kay’s is my favourite one so far!

I love the mess-free pump dispenser:

Mary Kay CC Cream comes in 4 shades. Swatchy Time!

Deep, Medium-To-Deep, Light-To-Medium, and Very Light

Marky Kay CC Cream has niacinamide and ascorbic glucoside to help skin tone look more even and brighten the look of skin. It has mineral-based pigments that correct the look of imperfections and improves overall complexion with lightweight coverage. There’s Vitamin E and botanicals to calm skin and reduce redness. It hydrates for 10 hours! 10 hours! It doesn’t settle into fine lines and pores, plus over time it’ll make them less noticeable. And it’s full of antioxidants to protect against environmental stressors. Oh, and it has SPF 15 to protect against UVA and UVB Rays. I wish it was SPF 30 of course, but like I always say-just because a makeup product has sunscreen in it DOES’T mean you should skip wearing a real sunscreen! I always wear sunscreen every day no matter what.
Marky Kay CC Cream is so easy to blend into the skin and leaves a dewy finish that’s radiant and lovely. It has pretty decent coverage too and I like that. You still need concealer for spots, but that’s true for most foundations so really that’s no big deal to me. I have drier skin, so I don’t need to set it with powder, but you can if you need to. It lasts really well for me, easily 8 hours before it starts to fade. Very Light is a tad dark for me, but I can make it work no problem! LOVE.

Next, I’ll add a bit of colour to my face with Mary Kay’s New Bronzing Powder($20 CDA):

Swatchy Time! It comes in two gorgeous shades:

Light-Medium and Medium Dark

So smooth and silky feeling! They’re also made with light perfecting technology, so they makes skin look more even and smooth. They have a luminous finish that’s not too shimmery, but with just enough oomph to give you that sun kissed-glow that will brighten up that winter weary complexion. These aren’t for contouring, so don’t even try. Use them as bronzers- on the cheeks, on the forehead and chin, and down the neck. Summer glow in 1 minute flat!

Then, all I do is fill in my brows, add some mascara, and Bazinga! I’m ready to go in just 5 minutes!

Love this! And love the colour in your hair!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Thanks Sara! It’s fading but I like how it’s fading!

Hey Tracy, getting ready in 5 minutes is a pretty sweet deal! I like how there are darker shades in the selection, but I think my shade match would be Very Light, which means quite some people won’t find a shade match at all!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Actually, I think you’d be the next one up, as I’m the light one. They seem to blend in and colour correct really well. The light matches me pretty perfectly!

Those swatches look gorgeous as does your 5-minute face. :) The CCs look quite dark though. You use the lightest one on the far right?

    • TracyBeautyReflections

They are more yellow to colour correct redness and yeah-I used the lightest one. It’s blends in no problem actually! Kind of cool.

The bronzers are GORGEOUS. I love the lighter yellow one – I feel like bronzers rarely come in that shade!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Agree! That’s the one I’m wearing actually and it’s really pretty!

  • Gaelle

The cc cream looks really good, looks really even on you. I’m currently road testing the bourjois one. I wish I looked as good as you in 5 minutes!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

It is one of the best ones if not the best one I’ve tried. A tad dark, but really nice! And hahaha you are sweet Gaelle!

hmm very light doesn’t look light at all!! but actually it looks like it would totally work with my light-medium skin AND yellow undertones. WINNING!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

No it’s more golden! It’s really nice!

  • Lily

Love the look of those ripples on the bronzers :-) The cc cream runs a little dark, no? Even the lightest shade looks like a medium shade on your skin. Love that they have warmer undertones compared to pinky ones that many brands have though!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Yeah they are a bit dark, but I can make it work ok. They seem to blend so nicely onto the skin that you don’t really notice. What it does it cut the redness down that’s for sure!

  • Uisa

This seems like a really interesting product. Too bad Mary Kay isn’t really easily accessible here.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      Awww, that’s too bad. :(

  • TracyBeautyReflections

I agree! I did say that it kind of matches magically and isn’t too dark so I say don’t be afraid of it a all!

  • Jayne

Those bronzers are so pretty!!! Such a wonderful glow!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      They are wonderful!

  • TracyBeautyReflections

    Thanks! AWESOME stuff!
