Lise Watier Age Control Ultimate Body Butter

I’m not a huge fan of body butters. I find them too…buttery.  😬 They take forever and a day to absorb into my skin, and I don’t like that!

Lise Watier Age Control Ultimate Body Butter($70 CDA) is different though. Let me explain why.

Science-y Time!

Lise Watier Age Control Ultimate Body Butter contains Concentrated Labrador Tea Extract, a powerful antioxidant. Labrador Tea grows in the Boreal Forest and has an amazing ability to survive in Canada’s extreme weather. It’s rich in antioxidants, vitamins, trace elements, and ursolic acid. Ursolic acid seems to be able to increase muscle mass and decrease fat mass. It also is capable of inhibiting various cancer cells. Cool, hey? Lise Watier in cooperation with researchers from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, have harnessed the benefits of Labrador Tea through a unique extraction process and have added it to their skincare line. It’s also in my favourite Lise Watier Lipstick, the Rouge Fondant Suprème.

Lise Watier Age Control Ultimate Body Butter combines that amazing Labrador Tea extract with shea and argan butters. The result?  Not just another run of the mill body butter, but one that will really make a difference in your skin.

Lise Watier Age Control Ultimate Body Butter is thick, yet not heavy at all. It feels velvety smooth and when you apply it,  you notice a cooling sensation that’s really lovely. The cream just melts into your skin, leaving you smooth and moisturized and not greasy at all. In fact, it hydrates so well that your skin stays moisturized up to 48 hours later after just one application! And along with the anti-aging benefits, I think Lise Watier Age Control Ultimate Body Butter truly is the ULTIMATE body butter. I’m hooked! I know it’s expensive, but honestly a little goes a long way with this stuff. I figure this tub(it’s pretty huge actually) will last a good 3 months, and I shower every day so that’s pretty decent. It works out to about 78 cents a day which I can easily swallow. I’d much rather pay for a good body butter like this, instead of getting the cheap stuff that makes me feel like a fruity smelling butterball turkey. 😛 Speaking of scent, Lise Watier Age Control Ultimate Body Butter smells like a face cream, and that dissipates pretty quickly. No need to worry about it competing with your fragrance of choice!

Lise Watier Age Control Ultimate Body Butter is available right now wherever Lise Watier is sold across Canada. And if you’re in the USA, remember they do ship to you! Order from www.lisewatier.com. Try it! You’ll be hooked just like me!

What do you think about an anti-aging body butter? Good idea?

*products sent by the lovely PR, thoughts are always mine, because seriously. Nobody controls MY crazy. It’s ALL MINE.  😇

Oh wow, this is a little over my usual body lotion/butter budget, but it does look much more advanced as well (I usually just slather something on so that my skin doesn’t feel like leather haha)!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Hahaha, This one is amazing. I can’t believe how good it feels on!

  • http://beautyreductionista.blogspot.ca/ Liz

I LOVE feeling like a buttered turkey, lol! Not being too picky about body products right now other than the smell. :)

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      LOL YUCK I can’t!

  • Gaelle

Ha I do the same when buying something expensive, I divide the price per number of applications as justification! I must say I hardl ever moisturise my body, I’m that lazy!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Right? Makes you feel better hahaha! I don’t a lot either, but since I’ve been hypothyroid I find I have to now. My skin gets horribly itchy if I don’t!

I usually stick with unscented lotion but use body butter sometimes after bath when I really want to feel pampered. This butter has a fabulous texture, I can see!
I’m keen on anti-aging body products as well. I’ve actually experienced a difference when I used EA Ceramide one. Paired with good workout, I’m sure it works to make a difference.
LoL at “fruity smelling butterball turkey”, they are all okay on its own but the combination of the four is not good. ;D

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Hahaha I can’t stand smelling fruity and feeling greasy! I didn’t know EA had a body cream -I need to check to out. I’ve recently been into ceramics too and BOY they make a difference!

The idea of an anti-aging body butter or lotion doesn’t really phase me. As long as it’s moisturizing then we’re good to go. The pumpkin butters by Haus of Gloi are the only body butters I’ll use now. SO GOOD.

P.S. Your disclaimers are the best, LOL!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      :D:D Thanks!
I’ve never tried their body boaters but I hear good things about them!

I actually haven’t thought about anti-aging body lotions, but I probably should start on that. Ugh. Aging.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      LOL I know. It sucks!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      You’d love it then!

  • TracyBeautyReflections

Hahaha it does suck! I wish you guys had the same things!

  • Lily

Ahhh… I’m thinking about giving this to my husband. For him to put it on me. HAHAHAHA!!!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      LOL LOL
