New Make Up Forever HD Pressed Powder

The New Make Up Forever HD Pressed Powder is soft and really finely milled. It¬†reduces shine and slightly mattifies the skin, yet adds a soft-focus effect that blurs imperfections like fine lines and pores. It’s great for all skin types, and is formulated with hyaluronic acid to help keep skin from looking dry and cakey.

It’s a one shade-fits all powder and even though it’s really really white, everyone can use it. But heed my warning-YOU NEED TO USE JUST A TINY TINY BIT. Don’t be slathering it on thinking more is more because it’s NOT. If you use too much, it will leave a white cast to your skin. I find that it’s best to use a kabuki brush and Make Up Forever has the #124 that’s perfect to use with it. Just touch your brush ONCE to¬†Make Up Forever HD Pressed Powder, and then buff down and out and watch your pores seem to disappear. And it leaves your skin feeling so soft and silky smooth too! It’s the perfect powder to use on your T-Zone, or even to set your under eye concealer.

The New Make Up Forever HD Pressed Powder is available now at Sephora!

Happy Family Day to my fellow Canadians and Happy President’s Day to my American friends! I hope you are all having a nice holiday day with your family!

Hey Tracy, MUFE does seem to come up with consistently cool new formulas! I’ve tried the loose version but I don’t like it too much (it gives a very smooth surface but that’s about it. Also, my T-zone seems to grease up CRAZY fast!). I’m curious about their new blushes tho!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Me too! I want those blushes badly!

  • http://beautyreductionista.blogspot.ca/ Liz

I’m still using the tiny sample size jar of the loose version and it’s going to last me FOREVER. The compact is so much handier. Hey, if this thing had sunscreen, it would be like the best.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

I know haha I have a couple of them lying around too! I agree now that would be AWESOME!

Oh, I would love this! I love HD loose powder. ;)
MUF products look always very professional, I do wish they came in prettier case since the price is not exactly cheap. ;-/

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Yeah I agree! I wish it was fancier and not so utilitarian looking.

  • Gaelle

Ha ha , ‘nobody controls my crazy’! You crack me up Tracy! This sounds really good. I’m faithful to the mac prep and prime finishing powder but didn’t like the pressed version of it. This sounds better!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

:D:D This is like the MAC one actually-but I didn’t know they had a pressed one too! I wonder if it is the same now?

  • http://eyeheartit.blogspot.com Larie

I have the NARS version (pressed), which I like.

ALSO, I like your crazy :D

    • TracyBeautyReflections

I’ve always wanted that NARS one. Someday!
      Hahaha I know-I like yours too! :P

  • http://prettypandmakeup.blogspot.com/ Margo @ PrettyPandaMakeup

Lovely! I always like pressed versions of things more if I can find them!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      Me too!

  • http://willworkformakeup.blogspot.com/ Tiffany

Oooh, I like that it has hyaluronic acid in it! Ever since the whole celebrities being photographed with white powder on their faces fiasco, I’ve kind of veered away from this powder (I used to have the loose powder version). I’m too lazy to have to pay attention to applying setting powder carefully…Sad, no?

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Hahaha yeah I see your point. But truthfully, when are we being photographed with a flash like they are? No need to worry I say!

    Mama like. *grabby hands*

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      :D:D

  • Lily

There are so many powders I want to try, but I have lots! I just used up my MAC MSF Natural and I’m trying to use up my Lancome powder foundation. After this perhaps, I’ll get another powder! I find that I prefer pressed versions more.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Me too, I like pressed ones, but there’s one from Cover FX that I ADORE and it’s loose.

  • Eugenia

I’m with Lily – so many powders I want to try & still haven’t yet! This one sounds fab, Lil Sis and I’ll be checking it out for sure!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

:D i know I know! This is great though!

  • Emma Bovary

I am totally guilty of slapping on too much powder in an effort to look flawless – I must keep this advice in mind!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Yes! Loads of people do it Emma not just you. We all have the mentality that more is more I think!

  • http://theblogofworldlydelights.blogspot.com/ laura

I NEEDS ME SOME GREAT POWDER! And if it’s less messy, it’s pretty much got my name all over it!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

hahaha I know me too-I make such a mess!

  • http://olgiepolgie.blogspot.com/ Olgie

I really want one of these. The loose powder is great but messy as hell!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

This is right up your alley then!
