New at The Drugstore! Rimmel Stay Blushed! Liquid Cheek Tint in Pop Of Pink

You know me-I see a new kind of blush, I gots to have it.
Mind you, I almost passed on Rimmel Stay Blushed! Liquid Cheek Tint though. The packaging is just so, I don’t know-white?

But the stark boring white packaging ain’t that’ important. Well, it kind of is and isn’t. I mean seriously. It’s just not blush fiend worthy to be honest. But, it’s what’s inside that counts! And Rimmel Stay Blushed! Liquid Cheek Tint in Pop Of Pink? Is kind of amazing for a drugstore blush. Seriously, you need to get one. NOW.

Swatchy Time!

Rimmel Stay Blushed! Liquid Cheek Tint in Pop Of Pink is more of a coral pink on me-more pink than coral, but there’s still a hint of coral there. The other shades are all peachy as well, so I’m not sure, but they might just look a little too much alike on the cheek, although I haven’t seen any other swatches so you’re on your own there babe. I’m thinking they’re probably more peach. Not pink.  [emoji face with stuck-out tongue] Have I confused you enough yet? GOOD haha!

The texture of Rimmel Stay Blushed! Liquid Cheek Tint in Pop Of Pink is DIVINE. There’s some cones in there, so be wary if they bug you! But that ingredient adds to the smoothness of the product. It’s not a liquid and not a cream, it’s kind of like a velvety mousse I think. Fluffy and YUMMM. It blends oh so easily with fingers! Brushes are a waste of time with it so put them away people! It’s foolproof in application I tell you. As you can see from the blended in swatch, it melts into the skin and therefore looks very natural on the cheeks. The other thing that I love about it is that it does NOT lift your foundation up. Some cheek tints can do this, and what’s the point of them if they’re only going to RUIN your makeup? This doesn’t so YAY!!

Rimmel Stay Blushed! Liquid Cheek Tint in Pop Of Pink

I’ll be honest and tell you it took 2 passes for a good picture to show the colour of Rimmel Stay Blushed! Liquid Cheek Tint in Pop Of Pink on my cheeks, but I took the pic in a bit of sun as you can see. But that just means it’s wonderfully buildable to your desired level of blushing cheeks and I say that’s a good thing! No clown cheeks with this one at all! My only complaint is that the tube is rather small. Like lipgloss small, but even so that doesn’t bother me so much as you need such a tiny amount that I can’t see using this up all that quickly. Unless I use this every day, which as a blush fiend is freakin’ IMPOSSIBLE. But if I DID so choose, I’d guess about 2 months. Give or take a week or so. Hey-I’m guessing here. Trying to imagine using a blush every day is NEW to me haha!

Get Rimmel Stay Blushed! Liquid Cheek Tint in Pop Of Pink now at Shoppers Drug Marts. I’ve seen them all over and they’re usually in those annoying aisle displays for the new stuffs-on the bottom shelf, so you have to squat to get one! Blush+working out butt-WORTH IT. Only problem is that this old lady CAN’T REMEMBER how much she paid for it. I’m thinking it was $6.99 CDN? Something like that, just don’t sue me if I’m wrong. I have a kid to put through AMERICAN college in the fall, so have mercy on me.  [emoji smiling face with halo]

  • I totally get what you mean about almost passing by this product based on the packaging. I’d like to give this one a try, since it sounds cheap and easy. I’ve seen the Stay Matte foundation and primers pop up in one of my nearby drugstores, but the blushes weren’t in the display so I think I have to wait a bit.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

It’s just so plain looking haha!
Yes keep your eye out! It’s worth trying!

  • Amy

Ooh, this is pretty! I don’t mind subpar packaging for things like blush that I only apply at home, and the contents of this look very promising (I hate it when cream blushes diminish my carefully-applied foundation, heh). I’ll have to pick one up next time there’s a sale. Thank you for sharing!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

You are welcome! It’s worth picking up I think!

  • Hahaha, those tricksy American colleges!

It’s pretty! I think, though, that I never stop to look at these things when I’m at the drugstore and that prolly won’t change. Plus, I don’t know. I want new things but I’m also feeling the travel bug.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Save up to travel before you have kids! That’s my life tip of the day LOL.

  • Hey Tracy, I’m not sure if these are here yet, but I do love it on you! I’ll probably have to swatch it to see if it’s a lot of work making it show up on my skin tone, but this looks like MY SHADE!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

I think this IS your shade Sunny!

  • boo0202

The coloring does suit you perfectly Tracy. I wonder if it would take a sweep of powder to set for the day. Creams seem to just dissipate with time on my skin. Oh & btw – mark. has a new powder blush in Avon’s Campaign 4 and it has a most feminine beautiful lace motif. Sooo tempting….

    • TracyBeautyReflections

It seems to set really nicely-like a stain more, so you wouldn’t need to set it if you didn’t want to!
Yes I know! I have that one-need to post it! Will do soon!

  • Lily

Oh, I apply my blushes like a baboon’s ass before I take photos. Otherwise it just wouldn’t show! This one looks really really nice and natural on you, Tracy. Also, I think this hairstyle and colour is making you look 20 years younger. LOVE IT!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Thanks Lily! I’ve been to lazy to straighten it though, so sometimes I feel it looks a bit straggly, but I don’t really care LOL.

  • So natural and pretty!
I know what you mean about photographing. I use bright soft box lighting so many colors look washed out. Me looking pretty is more important, I often sacrifice the quality of pictures. ;o

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Hahaha I love the way your pictures look though! They’re unique that way! Sometimes my lighting is a bit cool, as I take most pics from a north facing window, but sometimes I can take them in a bit of sun from the back of the house which is south. It has to be just the right amount of sun though, otherwise I can’t open my eyes up haha!

  • TracyBeautyReflections

    Hope you can find it!

  • TracyBeautyReflections

    Good luck!

  • Liz

Seriously! SEND HALP. I didn’t realize this was the season of BLUSHY BLUSHHHHHES. I was tempted by these but figure they’ll always be around when I feel like experimenting with non-powders again. This one looks great on you! Still loving that hair. 😀

    • TracyBeautyReflections

LOL I KNOW. TOO MANY BLUSHESSSSSS. hahaha we are impossible LOL!
Thanks! I like this better than the pink to be honest.

  • NEEDZ. I have been stalking the drugstores but no sign of this in my area yet. Hoping this week maybe. I’m so glad it doesn’t lift up foundation, that has always been my biggest complaint with mousses or liquids.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      Fingers crossed for you!

  • I want this! Ugh, but did you know it’s like $2.99 in the US? What’s up with that? >:( But you know I’m cheap. I’ma wait for a sale and get it~

    • TracyBeautyReflections

REALLY? That’s sick man. Not fair! Yeah-get it on sale!

  • Oh boy! American college starting this fall! Congrats to Marky! 😀
And yes, this blush looks like a complete and utter WIN. Bring it.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Hahaha Thanks I shall tell her!
It is! I’d love to get one of the other ones, but seriously I don’t need more blush HAHA.

  • Kristi C.

I’m just venturing into the world of creme blushes – first one is Oleander from Laura Mercier. This looks so easy and fool proof. I am loving the new hair on you!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Thanks Kristi! xo That’s a good one! I love creams a lot as I’m getting older.

  • Oh Gosh!!! I’m totally in love with your hair!!
Gwtting back to the theme of your post. I think that the cream blushes are easier to apply than the powder ones and they are very buildable. With some of them there is no chance you would hurt yourself 😀

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      Thanks lovely! xo
LOL hahaha I like your reasoning!

Totally agree about liquid/crème blushes that lift foundation – they drive me bonkers!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      Right? WHAT’S THE POINT hahaha!

Haha it’s rough going, eh Tracy? I’ve seen a few posts on these and I’m definitely interested, I love a good non-powder blush! I don’t like the packaging either, but for a cheap pretty blush I might make an exception. And I kind of like that is has the potential to actually be used up! Think about how AWESOME you would feel if you actually finished a blush ~gasps~

    • TracyBeautyReflections

LOL hahaha you are right! It’s just the size to get used up! That’s like a dream Toya. I remember when I actually used to buy an occasional blush backup of a shade I loved-LIKE REALLY TRACY hahaha? I don’t do that now!
