Mary Kay Satin Hands Pampering Set

The Mary Kay Satin Hands Pampering Set comes with three products: Satin Hands Hand Softener, Satin Smoothie Hand Scrub, and the Satin Hands Hand Cream. I was sent the Vanilla Sugar scent, but there’s a peach version and also an unscented one as well. To get super-soft, super smooth hands, here’s what you do:

Step 1
Use the Satin Hands Hand Softener to get instant hydration by sealing in moisture, leaving hands protected and prepared for the next step. Hands will feel smooth, silky and supple. It’s a petroleum-based product-it’s quite like vaseline. It would make a great heavy-duty overnight hand moisturizer actually. I think it’s a cool idea to use something like this BEFORE you use the next step, which is an exfoliator.

Step 2
Apply the Satin Hands Satin Smoothie Hand Scrub and cleanse and exfoliate in one step. It removes dead surface cells while instantly leaving hands feeling soft, smooth, and looking healthier. Don’t scrub too hard! But honestly, it’s hard to do that because remember, you’ve protected your hands with the Satin Hands Hand Softener before hand! Just rub your hands for a bit, making sure you get your nails and cuticles as well, and then rinse off!

Step 3
Complete this pampering experience by applying Satin Hands Hand Cream. It’ll moisturize your hands for up to 24 hours! The texture is thick, yet smooth but it absorbs quickly, yet making a protective layer on your hands that lasts through several hand washings. My hands feel soft and smooth all day long, and I wash them a lot so that’s something.

I keep telling you how COLD it’s been here in Alberta this past week. And when it’s this cold, your hands take a beating! With the cold air, and then the furnace heat blasting-your whole body gets dry really really fast. But your hands get the worst of it I think. Using the Mary Kay Satin Hands Pampering Set a couple of times a week has really saved my hands from looking like they’re 80 years old. PLUS my cuticles have never looked so good!

You gotta try the Mary Kay Satin Hands Pampering Set.Your hands will thank me! Like I said, this would make an awesome gift for your mom, your sister, your aunt-and especially if you know someone who has to wash their hands often at work like a nurse. They’ll thank you forever and ever I promise!

You can order the Mary Kay Satin Hands Pampering Set online at marykay.ca or from your local Mary Kay Rep.

Do you exfoliate your hands? It really does make a difference!

*product sent by PR, and I thank her for the smooth soft protected hands! [emoji white smiling face]

  • i exfoliate my hands! (*raises hand*)
seriously this set sounds awesome. i usually try to do something about my hands as well when i have a facial mask on (because i don’t want my hands give out my true age..).
    again, unscented set, please. ;D

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Yay! And haha you are like me. I get scared of having old hands! And lol, I’m starting to appreciate the unscenteds!

  • Oh wow, this does look like a set I’d LOVE! I suffer from really dry hands (OK fine, a lot of it is my own fault. I like to clean and wash my hands with warm water), so I hoard hand creams! I do exfoliate my hands, but I don’t have anything specific for it. When I use a chemical peel for my face, I rub some on. When I use a scrub in the shower, I rub some on as well 🙂

    • TracyBeautyReflections

This set would be perfect for you!

  • its interesting that you apply something before you exfoliate. i’ve never heard of this before as it usually the reverse that is recommended.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

I know! But the hand creme for after is SO good. You can really still feel it on your hands even after you wash them.

  • Lily

Oh, I haven’t exfoliated my hands before… but when I exfoliate my body, won’t I be exfoliating my hands too?

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Well, no not unless you actually do your hands? I don’t in the shower-I find those too rough for my hands, at least the ones I use.

  • I know what you mean about cold weather drying out the skin! My hands dry out like paper so that’s why I have a constant supply of hand cream. The vanilla sugar scent makes me think of Bath & Bodyworks and I just loved their version so I figure this would be my kind of hand cream. In answer to your question: I’ve never exfoliated my hands before!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

You should try it then! You’d be surprised at the difference in how your hands look! Yes, it’s just as lovely of a fragrance!

  • Huh, that’s strange that I never thought to exfoliate my hands, as I use sunscreen and serum on them daily. Well, I guess I’ve rubbed the remnants of a lactic acid serum on them a few times but not with the express purpose of exfoliating them. I really should get into doing that, now that I think of it! And I bet you have the prettiest, smoothest hands, Tracy! 😛

    • TracyBeautyReflections

LOL hahaha thanks Becca! 🙂 Yes you should try it!

  • Liz

I guess I’ll like the scent, lol – vanilla sugar!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      You would haha!

  • OMG! Satin Hands is awesome! A former boss gave this set to me about 9 years ago and it rocked my world and my mom’s! Anyone who suffers from dry hands or even just winter roughness wouldn’t believe how great this set is! It really makes a difference to use that emollient first and then exfoliate! I’ve got to order one of these again! Thank you so much for reminding me, Tracy boo!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Right? Once you try it, you never forget!
