Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask

A few weeks ago, I scoffed at higher end natural/organic skincare. But that was then. And this is now. I UNDERSTAND.
I’ve been quite enamoured recently with the skin care line by Tata Harper. Tata Harper uses 100% natural & non-toxic ingredients. They manufacture their own products so that everything is always fresh. There’s between 9 to 29 active ingredients in every bottle; most cosmetic companies only use 1 to 3. That means you’ll notice a difference in your skin when you use Tata Harper. And oh yeah-you WILL notice a difference quickly.

The Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask($55 CDN) has changed my skin so much in only a couple of weeks:

Water, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Sclerotium Gum (derived from Root Vegetables and Corn), Lactobacillus Ferment, Leuconostoc Ferment Filtrate (Radish Root Extract/ Racine De Radis Extrait), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Distillate, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Fruit Ferment Extract/(Grenadier) D’extrait De Fruits Fermentent, Caprylyl/Capryl Wheat Bran/Straw Glycosides, Maltooligosyl Glucoside (Derived From Carbohydrate Syrup), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder*, Hydrolyzed Corn Strarch, Beta Vulgaris (Beet) Root, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate (Derived From Corn Starch), Fusel Wheat Bran/Straw Glycosides, Kaolinite (Rose Clay), Polyglyceryl-5 Oleate (Naturally Derived), Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate (Derived From Coconut), Glyceryl Caprylate (Derived From Fatty Acids Of Corn, Coconut And Glycerin), Sodium Phytate (Derived From Rice Bran), Essential Oil Blend Clinical Grade Essential Oils**, Citral, Citronellol, Limonene.
*Ingredients from organic farming
**Fragrances from 100% natural, clinical-grade essential oils

Look at all the good stuff! Pink Clay gently exfoliates and cleanses while stimulating blood and lymph circulation, Willow Bark extract exfoliates and encourages cell renewal, Witch hazel reduces inflammation, and beet extract promotes hydration in the outer layers of the skin to help increase elasticity. Bet you’ve never used a skin care product with beets! Who knew beets were good for something besides borscht?

Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask has a watery jelly texture-it’s a bit runny actually. A thin, light layer is all you need, so don’t waste it! It smells divine too-all of Tata Harper’s products smell calming, herbal, green, and floral. As it dries, you’ll feel a tightening effect on the skin. It doesn’t burn or sting like some masks that resurface( like OUCH Glamglow my god that mask hurts like a mother). Leave it on for at least 20 minutes, and then rinse it off and BAZINGA! Pores are minimized, skin tone looks more even, face feels SMOOOOOOOOOOVE and even glows too!

Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask

Since I’ve been using my Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask, my skin is smoother, clearer, calmer, less clogged-it’s just BETTER. I haven’t had a break out in awhile now, so that’s something! Tata Haper recommends once a week, but I’ve been using it twice because I find I need to exfoliate more than the average person. If you’re more sensitive, then just stick to once a week.

I got my Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask at Lux Beauty Boutique here in Edmonton. They carry the whole line, and the girls there are wonderful and knowledgeable. I love going there a lot! Tell them I sent ya if you stop by! You can also order Tata Harper from Sephora, and from the Tata Harper website, which does ship to Canada as well.

I used to think that organic/natural skincare was…well…not worth my time or money. Isn’t that horrible? But I’ve changed my tune! I’m singing the praises of organic skincare-and a pricey one to boot. I’m a believer! Do you use organic/natural skincare? What are some of your favourites?

  • Hey Tracy, yaaay for discovering natural/organic skincare! I used to avoid it as well, as in the past I felt like they had to compromise on texture/performance just to make the products organic. Not anymore! There are plenty of great brands out there that have achieved this without the sacrifice, so welcome to the new world!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

You are so right Sunny! It’s so different now! I don’t think Ill go back!

  • Great review, Tracy! This mask sounds amazing, although the price is a bit steep. I guess that’s the price of luxury! I use some more natural products, recently I’m trying more and more from Osmia but I also love REN. They have some amazing masks too!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Thanks Monika! Yeah, I know-but in the end I’ve decided my skin loves this line so I’ll pay!
I want to try Osmia too-that’s next on my list for sure!

  • This one sounds amazing, but dang, Tata Harper is so pricey T_T I need a job, LOL.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

I KNOW. It’s nuts. But you know what? It’s worth it I’ve decided. My skin is SO GOOD right now.

  • HAHAH something besides borsch hahahah 😀 Lord knows I don’t need to be trying out any new skin care right now, but hey the packaging is pretty

    • TracyBeautyReflections

:D:D That’s the only thing we used beets for in our house LOL! It’s such a great line Catherine!

  • Emma Bovary

I am so intrigued by this brand since you’ve started mentioning it – this mask sounds awesome!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      Worth Every penny Emma!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      YES! Do it!

  • Ha ha! I love that your opinions were completely transformed by this! Makes me think it’s gotta be INCREDIBALLS! 🙂 I’ve recently invested in some new skin goodies from Clarins (a lot of this decision came from your high praise, btw!!) and I’m really happy with it, but seriously: who DOESN’T need a miracle mask?! This stuff sounds divine.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

YAY!!! hahahaha I love Clarins too-their stuff is worth every penny!

  • This sounds amazing…definitely more worth it than GlamGlow…and cheaper for me! I’m putting this on my Xmas list!!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Yes! That’s right it’s cheaper for sure!

  • Lily

OMG Tracy. I don’t need another expensive skincare lemming, but this sounds soooo good! I bet my mom will love it, and I can actually share it with her 🙂 So pricey though. I will save up. Everybody needs a good skincare, and something that WERKS!!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Haha I agree Lily! This stuff is awesome! I hope you get it!

  • Liz

Ughhhhhhh, this one sounds SO GOOD. And it’s actually affordable! O___O Pinned it for later!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      It is! You’d love it.

  • Tata Harper has been on my “need to try” list for a while now. When I finally do try it, I’m definitely getting this!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

This is the one thing I recommend starting out with for sure! I hope you like it!
