Avon Glimmersticks Dual Ended Eye Liner and Eye Cream Swirls

I love the Avon Glimmersticks eyeliners, so no surprise that I think that these Avon Glimmersticks Dual Ended Eye Liners($9.99 CDN) are freakin’ amazing.

Avon Glimmersticks Dual Ended Eye Liner

They’re twist up and self-sharpening too so yay! Avon Glimmersticks Dual Ended Eye Liners are available in five shade duos and I have three to show you!

Flash Dance: Gold/Bronze
Modern Romance: Black/Smoky Grey

What’s great about these is that you can use one shade on your upper lash line, one on the bottom lash line, use them both together to create an ombre look-it’s GENIUS. If I had to choose a product that Avon does really well, it’s their eyeliners. Pretty much all of the ones I try are great.

Avon Eye Cream Swirls

The Avon Eye Cream Swirls($5.99 CDN) are creamy eyeshadows that are swirls of 3 colours that combine to give you a shimmery pretty shade. They look like candy or a yummy pudding of some kind, don’t they Larie? 😛

Avon Eye Cream Swirls Swirled Clouds and Swirled Gold

I have REALLY oily lids, so the Avon Eye Cream Swirls don’t last very long even with a primer on me which makes me sad. But if you have normal lids, then these are worth a shot as they are really pretty. I hate my oily lids. They ruin my cream eyeshadow love almost ALWAYS dang it. Even the Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks are a no-go for moi. Sigh.

Available for your local Avon Rep at 1-800-265-AVON, or order online at www.avon.ca!

Anybody else CURSED with evil oily lids like mine? Seriously, they seem to getting WORSE. 🙁

*product sent by PR for review, so thank you! 🙂

  • The liners look cool, but the cream shadows don’t look very pigmented. My lids are on the oily side, so not all formulas last well. I have found enough formulas that last all day though, which is pretty amazing!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Lucky you! It’s so hard lately for me.

  • I have to set the LM Caviar sticks with shadow or they fade a bit, and the Maybelline ones don’t stay at all if I don’t layer over them. Ah, well. There’s always cream blush!

    • The LM ones are like bulletproof for me, and the Maybelline CTs last decently well – they crease toward the evening if I wear them for over 8 hours, but hey, I can’t really complain. Anyway… I like the idea of these glimmerstick duos but I wish the colors were a bit more exciting – maybe the other two duos are more unique? BTW, Avon has put out some really nice products recently, I have a review coming shortly as well!

      • TracyBeautyReflections

None of those stay for me 🙁 My lids are so bad.
They do! Avon has really good stuff I agree!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

You too, hey? Yeah both of those don’t stay on me.
True! More money for cream blush!

  • Ebony J

I love the liners (: I like liners that you do not have to sharpen because really nobody has time for that hehe

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      True!

  • I love the look of those liners!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      They are great!

  • Shu Ting

The glimmerstick in Flash Dance looks really good for upper and lower lash lining. And I read “Ice Cream Swirls”… they do look so yummy. :p The shades are not that impressive though. Oh well…

I have very oily lids as well. My HG primer is Nars Smudge Proof. Makes everything last past 12 hours mark. Whatever formula eyeshadow I use, I ALWAYS use Nars primer. A tube lasts a long time too… well over a year considering using everyday.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Haha Ting you’re so cute! xo
I’ve tried the NARS one and it is good! I need to use a primer like that, PLUS a MAC Paint Post most of the time. They are grease slicks!

      • Shu Ting

Hahaha Tracy! At least you’re in a colder (oh I think it should be FREEZING??!) climate so oily lids are substantially minimised? :p I find Paint Pot doesn’t work on me… shame…

      • TracyBeautyReflections

:D:D I wish Paint Pots on their own would work for me, but alas they don’t. I need to double layer no matter if it’s warm, hot, or freezing! My lids are the only part of my body that produce any oil. I’d rather have a shiny nose instead!

      • Shu Ting

hahahaha! And I do have shiny nose… I can fry a quail’s egg on it! darn! I don’t double layer primer + paint pot. Too much time.

      • TracyBeautyReflections

HAHAHA I used to be oilier about 10 years ago. And then it just DRIED up. It’s amazing how fast it happened actually.

  • Lily

Never mind the cream eye shadows… those liners look amazing! I also love that it’s double ended, just like the Urban Decay one that I used up.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Yeah just like that one! These are fantastic and just as good as those!

  • Liz

Oooooh, I like the darkest liner duo! Sexxxxay.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Hahaha they are great liners i tell ya!

  • Toya

The Glimmersticks are always so nice, one day I’ll get me one (or three). These shades are a bit subtle but pretty nonetheless! I haven’t gotten heavy into the cream shadows as everyone else has, but the shades of these are nice!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

If there’s one thing I think Avon does well, it’s their eyeliners! I love em.

  • Emma Bovary

I have always loved Glimmersticks, I love the idea of an ombre effect with them too!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      Me too!

  • Oooh, the dual-ended liners look awesome. Never too many eyeliners!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      Agree!
