Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in White Russian Is The Perfect Baby Pink Lip Gloss

Soooooooo…. I think I’ve been hiding under a rock because I had NO IDEA that Buxom has Lip Creams now! Although, I do think that they should be called CREMES. Just looks classier spelled like that, yes?

Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in White Russian

I used to LOVE the original Buxom Lip Glosses actually. I had quite a few of them when they first came out. I loved the tingly minty feeling, and they actually DID make my lips look bigger. [emoji kiss mark]  At least to me! The only thing that wasn’t so great about them was the sheerness. Well, now I can have that minty plumping action WITH some decent pigmentation too!!

Swatchy Time!

Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in White Russian swatch

Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in White Russian is a nude pink, although on my arm it does swatch a little peachy. But it does become more pink on my lips! A soft, baby, pink:

LOVE LOVE LOVE.  [emoji revolving hearts] Because it’s a creamy baby pink, you do get some settling into lip lines, but in person it doesn’t look so bad. What I do love is that there’s no shimmer or glimmer-it’s a grown-up gloss for this grey-haired blogger! And the best part? Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in White Russian lasts almost 3 hours on me. THREE HOURS. That’s unheard of for a gloss on me!

I’m wearing Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in White Russian, and on my eyes is the bareMinerals Ready 8.0 Power Neutrals Palette I showed you yesterday. Such an easy, neutral look and I’ve been loving it! All I know is I’m getting the Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in Lavender Cosmo next! I’m gonna call it-I think this is my FAVOURITE lip gloss formula!

Have you tried a Buxom Full-On Lip Cream yet? Who makes your favourite gloss? Does it last 3 hours? [emoji white smiling face]

  • Very very pretty! I agree: Creme IS classier than Cream. 😉

    • TracyBeautyReflections

🙂 like Liz said-cream goes in coffee! 🙂

  • Liz

You look beautiful! And yeah, creme > cream, LOL. Cream goes in my coffee!

I don’t like the minty tingly lippies and never tried a Buxom. Will have to see what other colours they’re offering!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      Thanks my friend! xo
It’s not a really scary minty feeling-just nice!

  • White Russian looks pale in the swatch, but it’s pretty on you! 3 hours are decent for glosses! With the constant drinking (water and infusion) I do, I think even the best of them stretch about that far 🙂

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Thanks Sunny! I drink a lot too, so most glosses only last about an hour on me, so 3 is AMAZING.

  • It’s super pretty on you, Tracy! A great nude!

But. Do these have that weird smell? The Buxom lip glosses have this weird subtle smell that makes me gag. I couldn’t wear it for more than half an hour!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

LOL thanks! And I don’t notice any smell? But I can tolerate A LOT when it comes to smells. I am a MOM.

  • I adore this line! I love that the glosses are so hydrating 🙂

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Me too! I need more now!

  • You look positively angelic in that last shot Trakee 😉 Love this lipcolor! It’s hard to find a decent baby pink.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Hahaha thanks Sarah-I haven’t been called angelic in AGES LOL.

  • still loving that bareminerals palette on you. but yea..price. lol i dont really go for the minty lipbalms. usually they /do/ make my lips plumper…in the allergic reaction sort of way 🙁

    • TracyBeautyReflections

I know-it’s so much. I think it’ll probably go on sale before Christmas-so keep an eye out for it!
🙁 awww, that’s too bad-I LOVE that minty tingle!

  • Lily

So what’s the difference between creme and cream? Just the spelling?
I can’t pull off baby pinks because they make me look ghastly, but you manage to make it look heavenly. MM is right – angelic is the word 🙂

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      Just the spelling-eme is French.
LOL if there’s one word that really doesn’t describe me it’s that HAHAHA. But thanks so much! I’ll take it!

  • I love baby pinks:-) you look gorgeous!

  • 3 hours?? Wow! It looks really pretty on you too.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Thanks! And I know! I couldn’t believe it either.

  • I had one in my hand at Sephora but managed to talk myself out of purchasing it along with the 5 other lip products in my grasp. I feel like I should get a cookie or something.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

LOL hahahaha a piece of cake! Good for you!

  • Wha…what? How did I not know they made lip creams? Like I literally walked by their display today….okay…I need this. I need it for the name. I need it for the 3 hours. I need that pink. Looks stunning on you!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

I know! ME TOO! haha thanks Margo! I bet there’s a great red for you!

  • Eugenia

Dang it…is there anything that DOESN’T look good on you? Even though I’m constantly picking up lip shades I’ll probably never wear (why do I do this?), I always come back to my beloved neutrals. Pink is not a shade I can pull off as beautifully as you, Lil Sis, but I’m really liking the warmer tone of this one!

  • I am in love with the color range of these, but I can’t tolerate the tingle! Pink Lady made my lips feel like they were being cryogenically frozen! I tried to wait it out, but every time I wore it, I ended up wiping it off. The longest I ever made it was 20 minutes, lol! I used to use the Lip Venom and that cinnamon tingle never really bothered me, but the Mr. Freeze effect of these Lip Creams (agree on “cremes”) was like WHOA!
