Yves Rocher has some new Fall 2013 Makeup I need to show you all!
The Yves Rocher Single Intense Eyeshadows($10.45 CDN ATM) in #21 Nude Rose and #103 Matte Ash Brown are WOW. There are 36 new colours with a creamy powder texture.
These two blend like a dream and last all day with a primer. The eyeshadows are made with Rice Extract because of it’s extraordinary radiance properties. Who knew rice GLOWED like this? They come in 3 textures, satiny, matte and sparkling. LOVE. [emoji revolving hearts] I was seriously impressed with the quality of them, even the matte! Really nice eyeshadows for the price!
The biggest news though is the new Yves Rocher Volume Vertige Lash Curler Effect Mascara($12 CDN ATM):
The Yves Rocher Volume Vertige Lash Curler Effect Mascara has a patented Reservoir Brush:
The Reservoir Brush maximizes and intensifies volume after one application. It releases mascara without having to dip back into the tube for more-kind of a smart brush! The formula is enriched with Elemi, a fixing botanical extract from the Manila Elemi Tree in the Phillipines. It helps fix and maintain the curve of your lashes, keeping them curled for 12 hours. COOL! I don’t really have a problem with keeping a curl, but those of you who do, this mascara may be worth a try! Plus it’s paraben-free as well.
Also kind of awesome is the Yves 3-in-1 Eye Pencil($5.50 CDN ATM). You can use it as a liner for the waterline, the lash line, or smudge it out to use as a shadow if you want! It’s a neat kohl pencil-not too soft as most of them can be and not too hard to blend out. Lasting power is not bad either for a kohl.
The Yves Rocher Sexy Pulp Volume Gloss($10.45 CDN ATM) in a Nude Rose is a great staple! Not sticky at all, with sheer pigmentation that feels really nice on the lips.
Ok, I kind of combined the mascara and eyeshadow pics on the eyes because I was getting ready to go out, and thought WHY NOT? You’ll get the idea!
I really like everything truth be told haha! The eyeshadows really surprised me in performance-the satiny texture of Nude Rose felt chalky as you can see in the swatch, but on the eye I had no problem with it at all. The colour is so brightening-it’s a prettier version of Stila’s infamous Kitten Eyeshadow which can be a little yellow for some people. This one being pink based is even BETTER for brightening in my opinion. The matte brown is AMAZING. Blends like a dream and isn’t chalky at all. The Yves Rocher Volume Vertige Lash Curler Effect Mascara is great too-it’s a thicker formula on the wet side-not REALLY wet, just enough that you can keep building layers as you apply it. It gives great length for a defined lash look and really holds those lashes up there as you can see! No flaking, no smearing, and lasted well all day. It has a faint rosy smell-kind of reminded me of the YSL Faux Cils mascara actually. The 3-in-1 Eyeliner is on my bottom lash line and upper waterline. On the waterline it doesn’t last very long, but it works well as a basic liner and is easy to smudge out.
I’ve always been impressed with YVES ROCHER skincare, and now their makeup is impressing me as well! I say these are worth a look, especially the eyeshadows and the mascara for sure!
Ok, NO MORE NEW MASCARAS for awhile people! MAN, I feel like I’ve been testing a new mascara every week for MONTHS now! My eyelashes can’t take anymore! [emoji eyes]
Got any fun plans for the weekend? It’s going to be really HOT here in Edmonton this weekend and I am SO OVER IT. I want fall weather! I wanna wear my boots and sweaters! What a baby I am, hey? [emoji baby symbol] Someone remind me about this when I complain about winter in a few weeks! [emoji white smiling face]
