The Body Shop has new Colour Crush Lipsticks that debuted a couple of weeks ago and they are something I think you need to check out!
The Body Shop Colour Crush Lipsticks replace the Colourglide lipsticks, which I’ve never tried. In fact, I’ve NEVER tried a Body Shop Lipstick, and clearly I have been missing out BIG time.
There are 24 vibrant shades of The Body Shop Colour Crush Lipsticks($13 CDN) and each one is made with high quality pigments, cherry seed oil, and Community Fair Trade marula oil. That makes a WOWZA coloured lipstick that just glides on your lips and feels really really good too! In fact, I’d say they’re pretty darn weightless and I LIKE that a lot! And to add to all that goodness, there’s a light rose fragrance that’s super pretty! There are three colour families in the line-up: the brightest reds, the sweetest pinks, and the finest nudes with a mixture of finishes as well, so there’s something for everyone. They are sheer, but quite buildable in coverage too.
#320 Berry In Love is a pearlescent finish, but Berry? Hmmm, I think it’s more of a pretty coral! At least on me it is:
#335 Hot Date is what The Body Shop calls a matte, but the mattes are a cream finish. Hot Date is a pretty, rose that’s perfect to wear any time of day:
#240 Damson In Distress is another “matte” and this one is my fave! A berry violet that’s perfect for fall:
#115 Enraptured Red is another “matte” and this one is AMAZING. A blue-toned red that’s super creamy and just drop dead gorgeous:
The Body Shop Colour Crush Lipsticks wear for about 3 hours before fading, with no feathering or bleeding. They leave a slight stain on the lips too which I love. But the best part is how great they feel on your lips, and how great your lips feel after as well! I love when a lipstick does that. These are definitely worth trying I say!
Right now The Body Shop has a special online and I assume in stores as well: Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off, Buy 2 Get 1 Free. And you can mix and match too. It’s a great time to get a couple to try!
I love when I find a great new lipstick where I didn’t think to even look! Has a brand ever surprised you like this?
