L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Hydra-Nutrition Glow Renewal Facial Oil

L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Hydra-Nutrition Glow Renewal Facial Oil($29.99 CDN) is kind of amazing! I can’t believe you can get a facial oil of this quality at the drugstore! It’s made for all skin types and contains 8 essential oils: English Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Rosemary, Geranium, Orange Peel, Rose Petal, Marjolaine, and Lavandin.

This oil is fantastic! It smells herby, green and lavender-y all at the same time. The scent is soothing and calming for me. It actually reminds me of the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Oil, or the Hourglass No.28 Serum Primer in case you’re familiar with how those products smell. It takes a few minutes for the L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Hydra-Nutrition Glow Renewal Facial Oil to absorb, but it doesn’t leave a greasy finish to the skin. It’s a bit heavy for daytime use for even for me and my dry skin, but for nighttime it’s perfect! Just a couple of drops is enough for the whole face, so don’t overdo it as L’Oreal says to use 4-5 drops, but I found that was WAY too much. For some the addition of lavender oil might be a problem though, as I have heard that it can be irritating, so I’d suggest testing it out first to make sure your skin agrees with it. All in all, I think it’s a lovely facial oil and I can’t believe you can get this at the drugstore! LOVE.

L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Hydra-Nutrition Glow Renewal Replenishing Cream

The L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Hydra-Nutrition Glow Renewal Replenishing Cream($29.99 CDN) is really lovely too! It’s lightweight in texture and absorbs instantly into your skin. It has the same fragrance as the oil, just not as strong. It leaves your skin feeling satiny smooth and works great as a makeup base. It’s meant to be used in the AM and PM to seal in the oil and give you that extra boost of moisture. I use only the cream in the day time and really like it. My only wish is that it had some SPF in it, but that’s ok because I always use a separate sunscreen anyways.

My skin is more hydrated, and is less flaky thanks to L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Hydra-Nutrition Glow Renewal Facial Oil & Replenishing Cream! If you have dry skin, then give these drugstore gems a try!

Do you use facial oils? What are your favourites?

*products sent by the lovely L’Oreal PR, hydrated glowy skin is mine and can be yours too! :)

been thinking of getting into face oils lately but not sure about paying the price for name brands. even l’oreal. i know people can mix their own or buy just one type of oils from iHerb. PBunnieP did a really good youtube video about some of the oils she tried out from iHerb

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Meh-it probably wouldn’t be much cheaper after you buy a bunch of them. I don’t have time to fiddle around with that stuff, but kudos if you do it!

  • Gaelle

The face oil sounds really good, that would be perfect for winter x

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      It would be for sure!

  • TracyBeautyReflections

I love L’Oreal but haven’t used their skin care in a long time. I’d like an oil for the 30-something skin too please. :DDD Maybe I’ll just try this in the winter anyway though, if you think it’ll be okay on my finicky skin?

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Hmmmmm, it’s REALLY hydrating, so maybe just one drop for you LOL. I’d read more and see if any younger types liked it first, ya know?

I’ve just started using a cleansing oil from One Love Organics and I’m loving it! The last time I used an oil as a moisturizer, the results were huge teenager-like zits so I’ve been a tad hesitant to try anything again! I am LOVING your photos, Tracy! So festive!! :)

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Yeah I’d be scared then too! Give it a few years and you’ll be able to use an oil! Thanks! :)
