Three Handy-Dandy Beauty Tools I’ve Been Loving This Summer From Sephora

1. Sephora Collection Ribbon Hair Ties($10.00 CDN)

Sephora Collection Ribbon Hair Ties

These eight no-tug hair ties are comfy and don’t leave creases in my hair, and come in 6 colours in case pink isn’t your thang. I always have one on my wrist at the ready to pull my hair back into a pony tail whenever I want. I even sleep with one in my hair quite often-I can’t stand my hair on my neck when I sleep. Yes I know, I am weird. They’re just plain handy-dandy to have and I like them.

2. Sephora Collection The Sculptor Makeup Sponge ($14 CDN)

Sephora Collection The Sculptor Makeup Sponge ($14 CDN)

This Mr. Sculptor as I like to call it, is pretty decent I have to say. It’s almost as good as my Beauty Blender-almost but not quite. It’s really dense compared to the BB , yet works almost as well. It blends foundation nicely, and is easy to clean. It’s just a little big for me, and I have a BIG face. I do wish one side was smaller for more finesse blending. BUT it’s about half the price of a BB, so you know-I’ll take it. The little stand is neato and is great for drying Mr. Sculptor. The suction cup-well, sure I guess you can stick it on the wall or mirror if you don’t have counter space. Oh, and Mr. Sculptor is GREAT for cream blush blending, or even taming down a too bright blush. Mr. Sculptor is a pretty handy-dandy too!

3. Sephora Collection Travel Manicure Kit(24.00 CDN)

This seven-piece mini nail kit with all the essentials is in my purse and it rocks.

Inside is a full-sized pair of tweezers, a cuticle pusher, a nail clipper, scissors, and a nail nipper-everything you need for any kind of emergency be it a hang nail, or a hair that suddenly pops up on your chin, or a pack of snacks that needs to be snipped open. Also, it’s  great to take with you when you travel! Handy-dandy again!

All of these handy-dandy tools can be found at Sephora and online at

It’s Friday! YAY!!! Got any fun plans for the weekend?

*products sent by PR for review, handy-dandy thoughts are mine!
  • Haha these are so cute and fun! I’d totally love to lay my hands on some of those hair ties (maybe not pink)!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

LOL hahaha! They have green! 😉

  • Icaria

Oh going to Sephora today! I’m sure going to have a look at those hair ties and that sponge is too cute for it’s own good! I don’t have a BB and don’t really care for it’s shape, this one might suit me better. Thanks Tracy! 🙂

    • TracyBeautyReflections

You are welcome Helene! Happy Handy Dandy Shopping!

  • TracyBeautyReflections

    Thanks! I will!
The manicure kits are great! They come in different colours too!

  • Hugs!! Love those hair ties, I can’t live without them! Hmm…weekend plans….staying home after my crazy intense Ulta haul left my wallet sad. Haha

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Extra HUGZ for you sweetie! 😀
Hahaha I went shop[ing today-my wallet sad too LOL.

  • Liz

I don’t like hair on the neck either! I look at Sephora tools once in a while but it’s been ages since I bought any. I’ll have to check out the sponge next time.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

You too hey? It bugs me at night!
      Mr. Sponge is great!

  • Lily

My children need those hair ties. They go through those little ones that either break easily, or lost somewhere in the house.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Yeah they are great! I like them as they’re not really tight and hurt your head lol!

  • Haha. I hate having my hair on my neck when I go to sleep too! If I don’t keep it away from there, it will have strangled me by morning. In summer especially, I have it in a really loose ponytail on top of my head.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Hahahaha so I guess I’m not so weird then hahaha!

    Please get that reference 😛

The hair ties look good, but maybe some other color, LOL. I haven’t embraced pink that fully 😛

    • TracyBeautyReflections

      LOL Blues Clues! :D:D
Hahaha they have green Kermy! 😉

  • Memoiselle

the ribbon hair tie is super cute!! I’ll definitely check my local sephora if they have it :))

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Yes do it! They are great!

  • TracyBeautyReflections

Glitter ones! I need those next!

  • Haha I don’t like my hair on my neck either, when I’m sleeping! I always flip it up over the pillow or tie it back–especially when I have day-old hair. I guess it’s from having acne-prone skin all my life but I am a freak about hair that isn’t freshly washed touching my face for prolonged periods of time (i.e at night!). I’ve been curious about those types of hair ties for a while. I hear they’re great but I have yet to try them! I ALWAYS have a problem with my hair creasing and kinking from being tied up–soooooo annoying–so I think these’d be a godsend!
