Most serums that target pigmentation tend to break me out, and that BUGS me to no end I tell ya. I desperately need help in that skin department, but I can never use anything long enough to see some results because they irritate me. Sigh. But this one doesn’t break me out so far, so YAY. I think it’s been non-irritating because the skin lightening ingredients are mainly plant-based and as long as my skin stays clear, I say! I’ve been using for mark.Youth Movement Skin Perfecting Serum for 2 weeks so far, and my skin is looking better and more luminous! I’m excited and hope to keep seeing some results!

mark Youth Movement Skin Perfecting Serum  is available to order right now from your local AVON rep by calling 1-800-265-AVON or by ordering online at

Have you had luck with a dark spot-reducing serum like this? Which one?

*product sent by PR for review, so far so good results are mine!

  • cant say that i’ve had much luck w/ pigmentation solutions. i did get a few lasered off and that hurt like a mofo during the procedure….w/ the price tag and the pain it really didn’t seem all that worth it in the moment..

    • TracyBeautyReflections

I was thinking of getting mine lasered off but the pain scares me too LOL as does the price! See we think alike!

You think this will work for acne scars? Most of these spot-targeting treatments are for aging and sun spots, so I never know what will work or not. :-/

    • TracyBeautyReflections

I think yes since it’s targeted for younger folks. A good one that works on acne scars for sure is the Clinique Clinical Spot eraser. Works really well!

Dior’s Diorsnow line always works on me. The Anti Spot Targeting Serum works really well. I concentrate the serum on places where I need it, e.g. acne / pimple scars and they have lightened tremendously.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

I wonder if we have that line here? I’m not sure, because I’ve never really tried any Dior skincare! I don’t know why-oh wait I know-it’s SO MUCH MONEY HERE hahahaha!

  • Nice to hear it is working so well for you! It definitely sounds good.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

😀 Yes thanks! I like it lots!

  • Emma Bovary

Sounds like a very nice serum, I seem to be getting my breakouts under control so now want to start on lightening my acne marks 🙂

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Try this one! It’s cheaper than the Clinique one.
