Racinne Ultimate Hydra Perfection Series Review

RACINNE International Beauty Corporation is a Canadian-born brand, inspired by scientist Ernest McColloch’s stem cell technology research. After seven years of research and development and partnering with the world’s leading biotechnology laboratories in Korea, RACINNE has launched three new skincare series, and I was so graciously sent the ULTIMATE HYDRA PERFECTION Series to test out.

RACINNE uses “Callus Cultivation Technology” in its beauty products. In plant biology, callus cells are those cells that cover a plant wound, and studying how they regenerate is what’s become the basis of Racinne’s skincare. This technology  is supposed to improve our skin cells’ ability to survive and reproduce, and help boost the skin’s natural defense system. Skin cells strengthen, and so does their ability to retain moisture, which helps prevent the signs of aging. Makes sense, yes?

RACINNE ULTIMATE HYDRA PERFECTION Series uses callus extract from grapes and other active ingredients to create one powerful antioxidant formula. These natural antioxidants repair you skin, help it regenerate and hydrates it resulting in a radiant glow. Who doesn’t want glowy skin, right?

Racinne Ultimate Hydra Perfection Contour Brightening Eye Care ($22.99 CAD)
This eye gel contains the natural antioxidant and renewal properties of lemon grass with the grape callus extract. It’s gentle and cooling, and reduces eyelid puffiness and dark circles. You can use it all around your eyes, even on the lids and it instantly brightens. I think this is my favourite product in the Ultimate Hydra Perfection series. Of course none of my pictures of it worked out and I’m too lazy to take another one, so I’m using this pretty PR provided photo. 🙂

The  Racinne Ultimate Hydra Perfection Essentialift Supplement Serum($43.99 CAD) also has the grape callus extract plus Gingko leaves, organic peach extract, and lotus flower extract. The serum helps promote the regeneration of collagen and helps brighten dark spots leaving skin smoother, firmer and radiant. It’s very light, and has a slight floral smell that’s not offensive at all. It absorbs instantly which I like, and hasn’t broken me out which is a huge plus! Most brightening products break me out for some reason which is super annoying, so I’m really happy that this one doesn’t! I did notice a bit of brightening after 4 weeks of use, which I assume will only get better the longer I use it.

Racinne Ultimate Hydra Perfection Ultimate Defense Illuminating Cream($39.99 CAD) also has grape callus, but this time combined with seaweed extract and other antioxidants to provide moisture directly to the deepest layers of the skin. It also regenerates the skin and helps boost the natural protective barrier while locking in moisture. It also has a floral fragrance as well, and absorbs instantly into the skin. After applying, it gives a gentle glow to your skin which I like. It makes a great base before using mineral makeup. After 4 weeks, my dry skin is getting better at keeping moisturized, so that’s a good thing too!

You can order Racinne skincare online at http://racinne.myshopify.com/ if you’re interested in trying it out! They always have promotions and samples too!

Have you heard of Racinne skincare? It’s available right around the world actually including Australia!

  • This stuff sounds pretty dope, even though I am so skeptical of skincare in general! I used this little Dior serum sample the other night and thought it was meh, googled it for blogger’s reviews and people either love it or hate it, and it contains alcohol as the 4th ingredient. I was cheating on my long-term facial cleanser Purpose with Neutrogena Ultra Gentle for a month. I love the Neutro a LOT but it has a perfumey taste (I mean let’s be real, I’m not an animal in the shower but soap runs downhill so to speak, and it’s really gross tasting even with my mouth clamped shut! It gets in somehow!) so I planned to go back to Purpose. Then I did, and it was super drying! So now I’m in the market for a new cleanser but skeptical about everything! Any recommendations?!?

    Soapless in Atlanta,

It’s really nice and my fave of the bunch!

  • Liz

Never heard of them but always nice to hear of a new Canadian company. “Callus” just doesn’t sound pretty though, lol!
