Givenchy’s Dahlia Noir has captured a ray of sunlight and evolved into a brighter, lighter version!
Givenchy Dahlia Noir L’eau is clear, subtle and sensual without being overly seductive and is a perfect scent for summer!
The bottle is simple and is the same shape as the Eau de Parfum, except that the cap is white, which looks fresh and clean against the pale green tint of the fragrance.
I don’t think I’ve ever sniffed the original Givenchy Dahlia Noir, but boy-I DO enjoy this Eau de Toilette! It starts off very fresh and brightly green with citron and neroli. On me it’s quite green and not very citrusy at all which I like. It stays green as the heart notes of rose petals and peonies make their way, and they give sophistication to the scent yet a very modern and young edge at the same time. As the green notes fade, I can detect a faint hint of patchouli, that gives way to a faint spicy cedar and musk. Givenchy Dahlia Noir L’eau is a fresh and lovely rose fragrance that’s very clean smelling and perfect for warmer weather. If you love rose fragrances, then I highly recommend giving Givenchy Dahlia Noir L’eau a try! I like this so much better than Jo Malone’s Red Roses.
Givenchy Dahlia Noir L’eau EDT comes in a 50ml version for $71 CDN, and a 90ml version for $95 CDN. It’s available at The Bay, Shoppers Drug Mart, and Sephora as well.
