Beauty That Counts Mary Kay One Woman Can Creme Lipstick and Celebrate Lip Gloss

I love beauty with a cause. As a beauty junkie, I like that I can help women in need when I buy something like a lipstick. I wish ALL  makeup/skincare brands did that. You know they could afford to, but the majority of them don’t. Which is why I applaud companies like Mary Kay. And now that I know of The Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation that supports women living with cancer through the Look Good Feel Better program, and that it also provides grants to women’s shelters and community outreach programs to help end violence against women, I’ll always buy their Beauty That Counts makeup. Always.

Right now, you can get two limited edition Beauty That Counts products- The Creme Lipstick in One Woman Can and the Mary Kay NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss in Celebrate. In Canada, Mary Kay will donate $1 from each sale to The Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation.

Limited-edition Beauty That Counts Mary Kay Creme Lipstick in One Woman Can ($16.50 CDN) swirls together previous Beauty That Counts shades Compassion and Inspiration to create a beautiful berry-pink colour that looks good on everyone.

A sheer formula that can be built up in opacity, Mary Kay Creme Lipstick in One Woman Can is full of antioxidants and moisturizers like vitamins E and C.  It glides on easily and lasts quite a long time for a sheer formula. I get almost 4 hours of comfortable wear and love it! You do have to apply it in kind of a circular motion to get the two shades to blend together, but it’s not a big deal. OR if you like, just leave it and you get a kind of cool looking ombre lip instead!

Swatchy Time!

Mary Kay One Woman Can Lipstick

Limited-edition Beauty That Counts Mary Kay NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss in Celebrate($18 CDN) combines Mary Kay favourites Cream & Sugar and Pink Parfait lip glosses to create a golden peachy-pink shimmer gloss that looks great on everyone too! It’s really smooth and moisturizing too and lasts quite awhile for a lip gloss. I put it on before going out on Saturday, and 3 hours later when I got home it was still there and my lips felt soft and moisturized! LOVE it.

Wearing Mary Kay One Woman Can and Celebrate together

These are the first Mary Kay lip products I’ve tried in probably a good 20 years and DANG people I’ve been missing out! I’m really enjoying wearing them together and that says a lot because I’m not a huge lipgloss on top of lipstick person. I usually wear one or the other, but I just love how both of them look and feel together on the lips.

You can order Mary Kay online here  or find your local Mary Kay Rep by clicking here!

Have you tried Mary Kay lip products before?  What’s your favourite?

*Products provided by PR for consideration, thoughts are my own thank you very much 🙂

  • That lipstick looks so edible! I wasn’t sold on the gloss, but after seeing you wearing both together I’m really liking the idea!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Both together are really pretty! It’s such a pretty combo!

  • Paris B

Looks fab on you too! I must say I wasn’t too sold on them, it being my first time trying Mary Kay lip stuff but the lipstick is surprisingly creamy and nice to wear and they look good together! 🙂

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Thanks Paris! I agree-together they look really pretty!

  • Lily

I haven’t tried Mary Kay before, but these colours look really well together. The lipstick looks great on its own too.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

I agree! It’s a really pretty pinky berry that’s easy to wear and very girly! I love it.

  • TracyBeautyReflections

Agree! I love products like this too. It’s a good feeling you get when you know your addiction is helping someone haha! 🙂

  • convenientbeauty

Really cool product!! I love the colors and if the formula is moisturizing then it’s perfect.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Agree! I can’t really find too much wrong with it to be honest, except that you kind of need to blend the colour around to make it more even. But I kind of like that ombre effect-it makes your lips look not so flat, ya’ know?

      • convenientbeauty

Exactly!! I’m really into throw-away casual lips lately. The makeup looks more believable and I think it’s cool too.

  • Eugenia

Lil Sis, these actually look good enough to eat! I love makeup with a cause as well, and you’re so right: why aren’t ALL brands doing something like this? As to the lipstick, I really like the idea of wearing ombré-style – how cool would that look?!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

I agree! They all can afford to do it!
Haha it’s kind of neat looking when you don’t blend it actually-really gives some dimension to your lips!

  • Oooooh the swirly one has got my attention! I haven’t tried MK lip stuffs in years, but I have tried their foundation, and it’s pretty darn good!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

I need to try a foundation for sure! Everything I’ve tried is so amazing and great! The lipgloss is really nice!

  • The swirly one looks like food. FOOOOOOOOOD.

And there are my priorities, again. But I do appreciate when there are causes like this to promote and look out for. Women should look out for women, you know?

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Agree haha! You and food LOL. 🙂

  • Liz

    Pretty shades!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

  • Emma Bovary

I absolutely adore the look of these, they remind me of a delicious ice cream. They are both shades I would definitely wear as well, which is always great.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

These are amazing I have to say again and again! Do you get MK in Oz?

  • TracyBeautyReflections

Yay!! Let me know what you think Iris!

If you use a brush to apply “One Woman Can” Lipstick it provides you 3 colors in 1:
light pink, berry and the mixture of both (which you showed). I love it!
