Sephora MicroSmooth Baked Sculpting Trio in Sultry

When I first saw Sephora’s MicroSmooth Baked Sculpting Trio in Sultry I was a bit scared of it to be honest.

Baked blushes are probably my least favourite formula of blush, because they tend to be glittery. This blush fiend does not like glittery cheeks. Like I NEED more attention brought to my chubby cheeks! No thanks!
But Sephora has baked some kind of magic into these blushes, because they aren’t glittery at all!

Sephora MicroSmooth Baked Sculpting Trios are a luminizer, matte satin blush, and a bronzer all in one compact and the shade Sultry has melted my blush fiend baked-blush-hating-heart! It’s fabulous!

I was sent the Sephora MicroSmooth Baked Sculpting Trio in Sultry($23 CDN)to try out which I thought was going to be a little to warm for me. Wrong again! It’s a really pretty terracotta shade that warms up cheeks beautifully.

Swatchy Time!

So smooth! And it blends really easily too, looking seamless and really natural on the cheeks. Since the bronzer is matte, you can use it as a contour if you wish. You can also swirl your blush into all three colours to get a really glowy, bronzey blush!

I even used the Sephora MicroSmooth Baked Sculpting Trio in Sultry on my eyes in the above picture and it works really well for that! I love using a product like this in the summer as it makes getting ready so easy and simple. All you need is some eyeliner, mascara, and a lipstick and you’re good to go!

I have to say that the pictures of these blushes on Sephora are HORRIBLE and not right at all, so don’t pick one based on those pics please! You should check out the shades in person for sure. And I say do it! These are wonderful!

Do you like baked mineral blushes?

This gives your cheeks such a pretty, summery glow! Love it.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Awww, thanks so much! It is a perfect summer blush!

  • http://beautykissxo.blogspot.ca/ Jenny @beautykissxo

It looks so lovely on you!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Thank you Jenny! Will you be checking it out?

As a Wigmaker I must say that I love your hair!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Thanks haha! I’m growing out the grey and haven’t had it cut in 7 months now. :) It’s almost long enough to cut off the red, but I kind of like the length I have now so I think I might get the red lifted out instead.

It is no secret, I love your cheeks! ;-) This one looks so stunning on you (as all the other bronzers I purchased after seeing how they look on you ;-) ). What kind of a brush have you used for application to pick up the colors seperately?

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Awww, thanks Sara! You are too sweet! :)
I just used my MAC Blush brush actually and it worked really well. Then I used a kabuki to blend it all together. Hope that helps!

        It does, thanks! Xox

Oh Tracy, I loooove this shade on you! It works so well with your coloring! Also I really don’t know what chubby cheeks you’re complaining about. You know how many would pay to have fuller cheeks? You were BORN with youthful, plump cheeks and you should be happy with it!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

LOL hahaha I am-sort of Sunny ahaha! It always makes my face and head look so big though haha, which I guess I DO have a big head anyways so I guess big cheeks fits the head LOL.

      • http://mostlysunnyblog.com/ Sunny @Mostly Sunny

You don’t have a big head, Tracy. I’m going to risk sounding really racist against my own race by saying I am Asian and I know how big heads can be :p

      • TracyBeautyReflections

LOL Sunny you are hilarious haha. Oh no, trust me-i have a BIG head. So does my brother. :) We laugh about it all the time!

Oooh this is really nice! Love the finish. I too tend to use bronzers & blushes on the eye area. Love multi-purpose! :)

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Thanks! It’s a great multi-purpose blusher and I’m taking it on holiday next week for sure.

  • Lily

This looks great against your skintone! I think it might pull orange on mine. It looks great on your eyes too! Love multi tasking products :-)

    • TracyBeautyReflections

:) Thanks Lily! Hmm, I wonder if it would? It would be an interesting experiment to see!

Lovely look on a lovely lady! Don’t ya just hate it when colors are so different from reality on certain websites? I love MAC, but they are notorious for this. Love this trio of pretty on you.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Thanks gorgeous! :) Man, when I saw the pics they had for each shade I was horrified! So not true to shade! I don’t get how they can be so off.

  • telle

Hi Tracy!! Looks gorgeous on you! And your hair is looking more and more fantastic!
I *just* picked one of these up too, last week! I KNOW i have a great product now because you love it!! (i havent used mine yet-just loved it when i swatched it in sephora!). :D

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Haha Yay Telle! I am going to get another one of these for sure myself now! I want a pink one!

      • telle

I may pick up the one you showed us in your post! YAY! For us!

  • TracyBeautyReflections

Hahaha I’m glad! :) I’m going to California soon and am bringing this with me as well! It’s just so easy!

  • http://beautyreductionista.blogspot.ca/ Liz

You make everything look nice! I have one of these Sephora trios from way back, but they used to make them shimmery and glittery back then. Used it so much however that there’s even a dip! It’s nice that they’re keeping up with trends and toning down the glitter.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Awww, thanks Liz! I remember how glittery they used to be so you are right! Kudos to Sephora!

  • Shu Ting

Hello Tracy, the blush looks pretty on you! Healthy complexion is as you have shown. :)

By the way, do you use synthetic hair or real hair (sorry, is this the right word?) brush with the baked blush?

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Yes that’s the right word! I used my MAC blush brush when I apply blush-I like the shape of it and it fits my chubby cheeks well haha! It’s the MAC #116 and it works really well!

      • Shu Ting

I find that real hair brush picks up baked blush (oh dear… going to get confused real soon about blush and brush!!) better than synthetic one. :)

      • TracyBeautyReflections

I agree and the MAC one is real hair! Baked formulas need more substance to grab enough product!

  • http://willworkformakeup.blogspot.com/ Tiffany

I saw these at Sephora the other day but I’m not usually drawn to Sephora brand makeup so I passed, but this one looks super pretty! That orange blush in particular looks amazing. It looks really pretty on you too! I love that you even wore it on your eyes. Love.

    • TracyBeautyReflections

I’m not usually either TIffany-I tend to walk right on by their makeup line, but lately-their products has VASTLY improved in quality. I used to work there part-time and so I really do know this is a HUGE difference!

  • Eugenia

GAH! This is absolutely gorgeous on you! Love the fact that it looks equally amazing on the eyes as well and now, you have to tell me what that lipstick shade is too!

    • TracyBeautyReflections

Thanks Big Sis! It’s a really great formula and I’ll be picking up another shade for sure!
My lipstick is a new one I just got called Kinda Sexy-it’s amazing! I’ll do a pos about it soon! :)
