Bite Beauty Discovery Set is a great little holiday offering at Sephora that I think you should get, especially if you’ve never tried their lipsticks before. Trust me-you will like them!
You get 5 mini, or bite-sized Luminous Crème Lipsticks in this cute little tin!
I have a thing for mini lipsticks. They remind me of my mom because she used to have those mini white Avon lipstick samples. My mom didn’t wear makeup much, except when she went to weddings. She kept a few of those minis in her evening purses and I’d of course, play with them by putting lipstick on my one Barbie. And ruin them. Good times.
But these Bite Beauty Lipsticks are nothing like those Avon lippies from the 70s my friends. So creamy, so moisturizing! SO GOOD.

Bite Beauty Lipsticks contain the super antioxidant Resveratrol, which fights free radicals with potent long-term age-repair benefits. Each of these lipsticks contains the Resveratrol equivalent of three glasses of red wine. I can’t even drink one, never mind three glasses of wine anymore, so I’ll just take these lipsticks instead! Also, Bite Beauty Lipsticks are made with natural-food grade ingredients that are healthy enough to eat, and there’s no synthetic oils or waxes, polybutenes, or petroleum. Cool, right? Not that I’d try eating them. But if push comes to shove and I’m trapped in an elevator for like 24 hours, it’s good to know my lipsticks will keep me going. Guess that’s one of the reasons why they’re called Bite Beauty, hey? Get it? Yeah I know, I’m a loon. 🙂

I had to take a swatch picture of pomegranate separately because the shade just messes with the colours on my camera something fierce.

What a red! It’s about as true of a red as you can get I think!
As you can see, four of them are great neutrals and make great everyday lipsticks, while Pomegranate is killer bright!

Bite Beauty Lipsticks are really soft, so be very careful how much you twist up to apply, otherwise you might break them. But because they are so soft, they are also incredibly moisturizing. It takes a few swipes to get opacity with the lighter shades, but just a couple to get the bright, true red of pomegranate. And I’d wear a lipliner with pomegranate because it might travel if you don’t. I didn’t notice any of the other shades do that though. But honestly, I always wear some kind of liner when I wear a red lipstick anyways, so its no big deal really.
The other great thing about the Bite Beauty Discovery Set is that it’s $29 CAN and I think that’s awesome for these 5 bite-sized lipsticks. It’s a great way to try the brand out, and then get the shade, or more likely-shades you love in the full size version! And again, I’m a thinking of Christmas and this would make a great gift for anybody on your list that’s a lipstick fiend.
Have you tried Bite Beauty Lipsticks? And if you were hungry enough, would you eat your lipstick?
