Substitution! Nuxe Gentle Purifying and Clarifying Mask With 3 Roses

Remember that expensive Chantecaille Jasmine and Lily Healing Mask I really loved? The one that helped heal my post-glycolic peel trauma? The one that would even help clear up my daughter’s acne?

Yeah, well I ran out. And I didn’t want to spend the money on it again. I like eating sometimes you know! Ok, maybe a lot. 🙂 The cheeks don’t lie!

Well, food-loving me found something cheaper and that works almost as well! My tummy, face AND wallet are happy now! Win, win, win!

Nuxe Gentle Purifying and Clarifying Mask With 3 Roses is for all skin types, but I think it’s better for dry, sensitive skin that still breaks out. It’s the gentlest clay mask I’ve ever used! It’s one of those creamy masks that never really completely dries on your skin which I like. I can’t even think of using a clay mask that dries. I’d literally cry form the pain I think.

The instructions say to leave this on for 10 minutes, but I like leaving it on for longer, like at least 45 minutes and I still get no irritation from it. It has an herbal green scent, almost medicinal- which kind of surprised me as I expected a rose scent because the product contains red, black and white roses. Oh well, I don’t mind the smell at all and kind of like it anyways! After rinsing it off, my face looks brighter, cleaner, tighter and refreshed. I am hooked! I am hoping this will help out my sorry skin as it’s been absolutely horrible the last while. My hormones are so whacked out right now, so I need all the help I can get! And so far, so good! I think it’s helping!

You can find Nuxe products here in Canada at Shopper’s Drug Mart, Rexall and The Bay as well. Everything I try from them is kind of awesome actually, so if you ever happen to catch a sale, I highly recommend picking something up. You won’t be disappointed! I happened to get this one at 50% off because Nuxe has recently changed the packaging on the 3 Roses line.

P.S. Did you know the name NUXE stands for Nature + Luxe(luxury in French)? Cool, huh?
