New Shades For Sephora Jumbo Liner 12HR Wear Waterproof Pencils!

I love using eye pencils for my eye looks, especially when I’m on holidays. It’s just easier to tote around pencils rather than take eyeshadows that might break PLUS brushes. Even on a daily basis at home, I’d rather slap on an eye pencil because of the ease. And if there’s anything you’ve learned about me, I’m all about the ease. Seriously. Just thinking about using 5 eyeshadows for one look gives me stress palpitations. Not going to happen.

So you can understand why these made me smile!

Sephora has come out with some new shades in their Jumbo Liner 12HR Wear Waterproof Pencils!
Guess that’s why last month I was able to snag that purple one on sale!

Dark Brown Matte, Lilac Shimmer, Green Shimmer, Pink Glitter, Electric Blue Matte

Dark Brown Matte, Green Shimmer, Electric Blue Matte, Lilac Shimmer, Pink Glitter

These Sephora Jumbo Liner 12HR Wear Waterproof Pencils can be a hit or miss for me and my cursed oily eyelids. I find the more matte ones wear really well even without a primer, the shimmer ones I definitely need a primer, and the glitter ones-well they’re glitter so I wouldn’t wear them all over my lid anyways. And again, like I said before-these are labeled as just liners, not shadow pencils, even though I like using them that way. As liners they are awesome on the bottom lash line and last all day no problem for me.

Ready for the double eye look? I know you are! For this test I wore them on naked eye lids-no primer.

I call Left Eye Autumnal Woods, and Right Eye Electric 80s. Yeah, couldn’t think of anything fall for that one! Maybe Purple Rain? Sure I like that better. 🙂

On the left eye I tested the brown matte all over the lid with the pink glitter on the inner eye, then lined the bottom lash line with the green shimmer pencil. On the right eye I applied the pink glitter again to the inner eye, used the lilac shimmer all over the lid, then used the matte blue on the outer v and blended it into the crease a bit. I then used the matte blue to line the bottom lash line, and then used the lilac shimmer to line the inner third of the lash line.

Like I said, on me the matte shades fair better all over the lids a few hours later, while the shimmer ones I’d definitely need a primer. I did test them over a primer and they faired a lot better! If you have normal eyelids then these would be fine for you. What makes me happy about them is that they blend really easily and at least don’t lose pigment when I blend them out.
You do have to blend quickly though, especially with the more matte finishes as they set faster than the shimmer ones which seem to have more slip. You could use these as a base also to intensify your eyeshadows.

Costing $15 CAN, the Sephora Jumbo Liner 12HR Wear Waterproof Pencils won’t break the bank and are a great way to inject some fun colours into your fall looks. With 28 shades to choose from, there’s bound to be one that speaks to you! Can you hear one yet?

You can find the Sephora Jumbo Liner 12HR Wear Waterproof Pencils at your local Sephora, or of course online at
