How A Diorblush + A Lipstick Can Open New Doors

Yes, this is a blush post, but it’s one I bought last month! I haven’t broken the blush ban! But everybody keeps talking about the new MAC, Naturally blushes–I am strong. I am strong. 🙂

When I got the free Dior Nude Pink Design Palette last month, I regretted not picking up a blush with my points as well. What was I thinking? I have no Dior blushes! I was an incomplete Blush Fiend. And I don’t know why I’ve never got any. I mean, my all time favourite bronzer is the Dior Aurora that I harp on about every chance I get, which means I’d probably love Dior blushes as well. Sometimes my Blush Fiend mind doesn’t realize stuff like that quick enough. #blushfiendfail

After consulting with fellow Lipstick Bandit and Blush Fiend extraordinaire Paris B@My Women’s Stuff, I decided on #839, Vintage Pink.

#839 Vintage Pink has two shades as you can see with one being a medium peachy pink that’s nearly matte, and the other being a peachy shimmery highlighter. You can of course wear just the pink on your cheeks and then the peachy side as a highlighter, or mix the two together and get a really pretty and glowy peachy pink shade. The glitter looks scary but trust me, on the face it just translates into a really pretty glow, not disco sparkles or silly Cullen sparkles. You know how I feel about that!

Diorblush #839 Vintage Pink is a great neutral peachy pinky
blush that goes with everything and to prove it I wore
it with an orange lipstick here. And yes, I went to the grocery store and to Shopper’s Drug Mart like this in case you were wondering. And get this: I was offered a job in the Beauty Boutique. Not kidding.

I’m not looking for a job at the moment, as I am enjoying my time off right now, but I’m telling you-this combination of Diorblush #839 and orange lips can open up some new doors for you!

It’s a good thing I’m on a Blush Purchase Ban until June because I’d probably be running out to purchase more Dior Blushes, especially the Harmonie ones as they really intrigue me at the moment. Hell, let’s be honest- every blush intrigues me! Gimme strength!

Have you ever tried Dior Blushes? What do you think of them?
