My Quest To Find Revlon Lip Butters-And One For You Too!

I didn’t really buy a lot of makeup in the US when I was there in the beginning of November.
Ok. I bought some.

But the one thing I REALLY wanted to try to find was Revlon’s Lip Butters. They’ve been all over the internet-YouTube, Blogs-you’ve been living under a rock if you haven’t heard about them.

And unfortunately we won’t be getting them in Canada until FEBRUARY from what I hear. FEBRUARY.   I’m hearing some people are starting to spot them in Canada! So keep an eye out!

Why do beauty products take so long to cross the border? Why? #canadafail

Anyways, on the day we went shopping, I wanted to find a drugstore to get some Revlon Lip Butters-a CVS, a RiteAid, or a Walgreen’s.

Who knew those stores are nary to be found around Disneyland in Anaheim ? NONE.

Long drive later, we found a CVS. And the Revlon Lip Butter Display was visible right upon entering.

I couldn’t decide. They were all so lovely!

So I got a few.

Ok, quite a few. These are the colours I got:

Cherry Tart, Sugarplum, Raspbery Pie, Lollipop

They look like a lipstick, but feel more like a lip balm! LOVE. They have amazing pigmentation for something that’s called a lip butter. They also contain a lot of moisturizing ingredients such as jojoba seed oil, shea butter and mango butter. Revlon Lip Butters just glide onto lips and wear for quite awhile which is amazing for something that’s moisturizing. I love them all!

If you’ve been counting, I’m missing two lip swatches-one because I couldn’t wait to try it at Disneyland, and another one that’s called Berry Smoothie that I haven’t opened up.

Now, that’s because I want to give Berry Smoothie away to one lucky Canadian reader!

Since they won’t be here for awhile I thought it’d be great to give one away to a Canadian gal! The giveaway will close on Nov. 28/11 at midnight. Good luck!
