We all know that you can get hyperpigmentation from sun damage on your face and body, but I am here to tell you that YES, you can get sun damage on your lips too. I have hyperpigmentation on my upper lip line-it looks like I have a lip liner on. I hate it. So I am warning all you beauties out there:
If you’re going to be outside in the sun for a long period of time, PLEASE protect your lips!
The smart way to protect your lips is to wear a lip balm with SPF protection. One of my favourite lip balms of all time is the Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15, and they have a new tint out called Honey.
Fresh Sugar Honey Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15 is my favourite one they’ve came out with so far. It’s a great sheer, warm nude shade that for me is a my-lips-but-better shade. Perfect! It has a slight honey taste, but it doesn’t linger. The tube is large, just like a lipstick tube and has a nice weight to it.
Fresh Sugar Honey Tinted Lip Treatment is made with all kinds of good stuff like black currant seed oils to condition your lips, and antioxidant-rich vitamins and SPF 15 to defend against free radicals that cause UV damage.
It leaves my lips moisturized and most importantly, PROTECTED from more sun damage. Best thing ever!
Fresh Sugar Honey Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15 has earned a permanent spot in my purse all year round! You can get your own Fresh Sugar Honey Tinted Lip Balm at Sephora.
Do you protect your lips from the sun? Please say yes!
