Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick

I was really excited to see that Bite Beauty was here at my Sephora! There’s been a lot of buzz around this new brand of lip products. Bite Beauty is the first company to use the antioxidant Resveratrol in their lip products, and the Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipsticks have the equivalent amount of Resveratrol that’s in 5 wine glasses. Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipsticks are paraben, petroleum by-product and synthetic free. I have never seen so many ingredients in a lipstick before, and so many good for you ingredients, that I had to post a picture of them so you could see for yourselves!

I mean-Monk Fruit! When have you ever seen that in a lipstick before?? And what the heck is a Monk Fruit anyways? :)

I decided to try the Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick in Rose for my first product and happily got it with my 15% off coupon at Sephora. Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick in Rose is a beautiful coral rose, which is a colour that I kind of have a thing for if you happened to notice. I just love the retro feel of colours like these!

The packaging is really simple. Now, this picture is taken right upon opening and the B imprint is kind of gone. You can also see bits of the lipstick on the tip. Thats because it’s really soft-I mean really soft.

Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick goes on very smoothly, has great pigmentation and is extremely moisturizing! Probably one of the most moisturizing lipsticks I’ve ever tried I have to say. And it lasts not bad too-about 3.5 hours. I have to stress how moisturized my lips felt wearing Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick. All those natural oils aren’t there for show I tell you!

Depending on the light, this lipstick can lean more coral than pink. I find it looks more peachy pink in the sun. Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick in Rose is a beautiful lipstick. I love it!

I only have one problem and it’s this: My lipstick is kind of trashed looking after this one use!

Hmmm. I’ve never seen that happen before to any of my lipsticks. But like I said, this Bite Beauty Luminous Lipstick is really, really soft, so beware of that. I’m not sure I’d take this one in my purse with me on a hot summer day.

Even so, I think I’m going to pick up more Bite Beauty Lipsticks. They just feel so darn good that I’m willing to put up with that messy look.  And I also think I want to check out the other products like lipgloss, lip butters and lip pencils too.

@meredith-I know, right? Definitely a stay at home lipstick.

It's def one of those stay at homes :p I can't believe it's flaking after one use! The color is really rich though and the texture looks really smooth!

@Rainy Days and Lattes: You are right-it is really smooth and rich. But yeah, it's a stay@home one.

I'd love to see more from this brand as this lipstick looks awesome. With how soft it is do you worry about it snapping off from the tube? Great post!

I wonder if it would be better to use with a lip brush, just given how soft it is?

  • http://www.blogger.com/profile/10425371234451757261 Tracy@Beauty Reflections

@Tracy D: Yes, definitely! It doesn't get so messy with a lip brush.

@Hebridean Sprite: Thanks! :) Yeah, a little worried. I wouldn't recommend twisting it too far up. But like I said-I really like it still! I think it's so good for your lips.

I love moisturizing lipsticks and with ingredients like these, I am all for it!! Just not sure how long it's going to last…….thanks for the review!

I love the colour and a "soft" lipstick actually sounds quite appealing to me! The only thing that bugs me is the idea that it'll wear down super fast and the product isn't cheap.

@BeautyTidbits & Liz: I still really like it besides the softness too. It just feels so good that it's worth it for me!
