Tarte emphasEYES Inner Rim Brightener

One of the best ways to make your eyes look wide awake is to line your bottom waterline with an off-white pencil. The trouble with that is finding one that stay put for awhile! I found one that’s pretty long lasting-Tarte emphasEYES Inner Rim Brightener.

What I love about Tarte is how their products are made with ingredients that are good for you. Tarte emphasEYES Inner Rim Brightener has beeswax, Vitamins A and E, and Aloe Leaf Extract which helps keep moisture balance and won’t feel dry on your waterline.

I think this peachy-beige shade is more flattering and natural looking than using a white pencil. Tarte emphasEYES Inner Rim Brightener is a twist up pencil with no need for a sharpener. It’s very soft and just glides right on the waterline with the greatest of ease. It lasts a good 6 hours on my waterline which is pretty amazing.

Tarte emphasEYES Inner Rim Brightener is a subtle way to help make your eyes look wider, brighter and more awake.

  • Have to try this…….6 hours sounds great. I normally wear a black kajal on my waterline which looks beautiful but never lasts long. Thanks for the swatch!

  • Six hours sounds amazing! Definitely going to need to check this one out 🙂

I love Tarte cheek products, I did buy a little gel liner not that long ago and it has already separated from the pot, ugh, but the colors are amazing !! Another eyeliner that looks like this is the Stila Eye Kajal – I forget the shade, could be topaz, super creamy !

I've never tried Tarte before-I actually use my Shu Uemura one for a more wide eyed look. When it runs out, I'll def. give this one a try-it will be much more generous on my wallet 🙂

  • @BeautyTidbits: You're welcome!@Rae: I think you'll like it!@Sue: Yes-it's like the colour of Stila Topaz! But I find this lasts longer on me.@N: A bit cheaper! I love Shu though!

  • I must try this. I've tried the Stila one but that fades off too quickly coz its too creamy 🙁 I like flesh toned pencils better than the fake looking white ones :)Thanks for the review!

  • That really appeals to me and you're right about the colour, white pencil does nothing for me

  • I really want to like Tarte but most of what I've tried have been disappointing. And this trick always ends up looking kind of fake on me, so I tend to skip the extra step. I agree flesh colour is much more natural than the stark white!
