Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Boy Is My Love Too!

While my daughter was picking up the MAC Viva Glam Gaga 2, I headed over to the Chanel counter at The Bay. They finally had the new Chanel Rouge Coco Shines Lipsticks in and I have been wanting the shade Boy ever since I heard the love story behind it.

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Boy

Boy was the nickname of Arthur Capel who was the love of Coco Chanel. He gave her the money to open up her first shop and his clothes were often the inspiration for her designs. He apparently asked her to marry him, but she said no because she wanted to wait until she was  financially secure, but later on he was tragically killed in a car accident. Sad story or what?

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Boy does this love story justice; it’s a romantic sheer, warm, rosy pink shade. It is very lightweight in texture and feels like a lip balm.
Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Boy is very moisturizing and has an elegant shine. It’s not very long lasting, but it’s not meant to be. This is the perfect lipstick to keep in your purse and put on at anytime. It’s a beautiful MLBB kind of shade.

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Boy is just such a great lipstick and I am so glad that I got it. There are other colours available in the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine line and I think I’ll need to be checking them out as well.
