Two Faced LashLight Mascara is very unique I have to say. If you haven’t heard of it, Two Faced LashLight Mascara has an LED light in the wand.
The light is there to help you spotlight every lash so that you get a perfect mascara application.
The formula of Two Faced LashLight Mascara supposedly contains microscopic mirrors that bounce light off your lashes and gives you deep, glossy black lashes.
Two Faced LashLight Mascara is nothing to write home about really. It’s an ok mascara. It’s very buildable and does leave my lashes feeling soft. For me, it’s more of a natural looking mascara which is sometimes what you need most of the time. Honestly, the light bothered me-it’s really bright! I have very light-sensitive eyes so it was hard to tolerate. Thank goodness you can at least turn it off! The other side of the mascara has a mirror on it, so I guess the premise is that you can put this mascara on anywhere, anytime. I’m not one of those people that reapplies mascara later in the day so for me this whole gimmick is just plain strange.
For me, it’s a tad disappointing that Two Faced LashLight Mascara is the full-sized mascara in the Sephora LashStash Mascara Sampler. I’d much rather it had been one of the other mascaras like the Laura Mercier Full Blown Volume Mascara, Josie Maran GOGO Instant Natural Volume Argan Mascara, or Hourglass Film Noir Mascara which gives some scary length! But c’est la vie, I did enjoy trying out some new mascaras and finding a few new ones that are pretty good if I’m in the market for a high end mascara.
But to tell you the truth, I’m still more of a drugstore mascara kind of girl. I really love CoverGirl LashBlast Original(the orange tube) or LashBlast Fusion(purple tube). Maybe next I’ll research some drugstore mascaras and do some comparisons! I think that would be great fun!
