This week the weather is forecasting our first major snow fall of the year, about 5-10 cm. I don’t mind snow so much, except for the driving havoc it creates. I’m pretty good at driving in the snow because I grew up in Winnipeg (loads of snow when I was living there), but out west here everyone seems to “forget” how to drive in the snow every year. Sigh. I might have to call in sick that day…I swear I feel a cold coming on…
Anyways, MAC Cream Colour Base in Crushed Bougainvillea and Fresh Morning is what I’ll be using this week to get that fresh rosy winter glow to my cheeks, even though I probably won’t need much help in achieving that look this week!

MAC Cream Colour Base in Crushed Bougainvillea is a really pretty rosy blush. It can also double as a lip colour too. Big warning on this one though: you need VERY LITTLE of MAC Cream Colour Base in Crushed Bougainvillea. Just a little dab will do you, trust me. If I thinkl I’ve over done it, I just apply a loose or pressed translucent powder on top and that tones down the rosy cheeks.
I’ll also be using MAC Cream Color Base in Fresh Morning as a highlighter:

MAC Cream Color Base in Fresh Morning is a pastel pink that I use as a highlighter on my cheeks. It leaves an almost matte and subtle highlight that I really love.
Both of these MAC Cream Color Bases came out with the MAC Ungaro Collection, and I love both of them!
